Yes. It's Ravage, and he's coming with Hound.

It was announced back at BotCon that Hound would come with Ravage. Unfortunately, these pictures didn't include a picture of Ravage's jaguar mode
Turnip:
I just don't get why they are doing Starscream again and not a different seeker. They've already done Acid Storm so why not Sunstorm or the other unnamed seekers? Also, I would LOVE to get a light purple generic seeker.

Actually, we are getting a Cliffjumper, as an Activator repaint/retool (has a new head), and the Waspinator figure we're getting at some point is speculated to be Wasp.

Sadley, in pretty much every picture we've seen him in, other than from reviews, he's been misstransformed to some degree. It's not surprising to me when in one of Hasbro's stock photos he's misstransformed.

Edit: On a side note, I kinda hope Hound's shoulder weapon is removable. I think he might actually look better if he was holding it in his hand instead.
Coolhand:
Not really an Animated kinda guy, but Cyclonus, Hound and Inferno look awesome! Shame we didn't get to see Ravage-Kitteh though. He's actually the one I'm most excited about.
jtuarus:
should i really be this gitty from these pics i mean come on im not broke enough?
and ya i hope those cheetor arms are mis tf'ed cause well look at shock arm there is that right to any one.

Well, I guess it's Hasbro's way of giving something the fans wanted since day one with the Classics Starscream. And that is, a Starscream with better/more paint apps. They do it in the GI Joe line, but I haven't seen it really done in the Transformers line. I'm glad they're doing it now, though.
Ktulu:
Some great stuff really, minus Cheetor arms and Vector Prime repaint. Will probably splurge on all of it I love that they referenced RiD beast Bruticus rather than G1.

Hound's face looks a little chubby

Of all of these I think Cyclonus or Inferno are the winners
B-Fox:
- Is Universe Classics Starscream going to become the new BotCon 2007 Seekers? Probably not, because it's $9.99 US. But wow, Hasbro, way to shit in the cornflakes of everybody who imported Henkai Starscream...

...I really wanted a Deluxe Armada Screamer.

- Bruticus I had a feeling would be a Scourge repaint when it showed up in the computers as "Ultra Scourge". RID getting *some* representation outside of Robot Heroes, and in the form of a super-obscure character/toy, is awesome. But that horrendous abortion that is Titanium Scourge is all we're getting for the Generation One character? Boooo-urns!

- Cyclonus, Inferno, Animated Blurr and Swindle are all plastic perfection.

- Hound, who looked great elsewhere, looks just awful here. The shade of green from photoshop 'enhancing' and the face ar simply Ugh. I really, really hope that this is a one picture deal and the real toy doesn't look so ass.

- The Legends Minibots are all awesome, and anybody who claims they're cheap and Happy Meal toys has never handled them OR a Happy Meal toy before. Brawn and Bumblebee are the ones I'm most excited about.

- Deluxe Cheetor. Uh. The more I see, the less I'm thinking he'll find his way into my collection. "wHy My shOuLdErs HuRt?" More like "WhY mY SHoUlDerS nOt CoNnEcT?"

- Robot Heroes. Snarlag seems to be happening outside of Animated now. No big deal. The Insecticons are complete and ADORABLE. Perceptor and Sharkticon both have "YOU GONNA GIT IT!" smiles, Perceptor in particular looks disturbingly happy about something terrible. This is <Michael Bay emoticon>. And I agree with most, Sharkticon in beast-mode would have been better.

- Animated Deluxe Electro Static S(hock Bumblebee). That is all.

- Vector Prime is an easy pass. I have the Takara version and don't care for those colors. But where's Leo Prime, enemy of BWII fan-subbers everywhere?
DJW107PRIME:
WOW! I want all that stuff! But I'll probaly only get the Universe/Classics/25th stuff and select few Animated, also Brawn, Beachcomber,& Bumblebee will be the first legends I EVER buy just wish they weren't so puny.
NGW:
The Universe stuff looks great, actually starting to get a bit more excited for some of these releases. Having never owned the Vector Prime mold, that new repaint looks NICE, definitely getting that.

Animated wise, outside of the legends, looking good. Swindle is probably one of my top anticipated deluxes for the line. Shockwave, already know how awesome he is, though he is horribly mistransformed in that pic.

In all, we have a nice line up on the way.
Fit For natalie:
You stupid bloody poms. You and your stupid bloody slang have made even G1 Slag 'Snarl' now. Thanks a lot.*

*FFN is taking the piss, but he is still annoyed at these turn of events.

It's really a lame excuse to not have Slag as a character name again. Slag is not a curse word just because it's used that way in some fiction. Geez.
DJW107PRIME:
I feel like they need to put out a repaint Redalert so Infernocdosen't get lonely after all they are partners.
Opticron Primal:
Universe Starscream is an instant buy for me. His paint scheme looks WAY better thenthe first classics version, (which I might repaint into Thundercracker when this hits shelves.) Hound w/ Ravage, Cyclonus, Inferno, Cheetor (if he actually has correctly transformed arms)....all buys. Vector Prime could pose for a more modern Alpha Trion.....depends on how I feel.....

A Sunstreaker/Sideswipe retooled(with added light bar) and repainted into a G1 Red Alert? I'd buy it!

Is that why theyve been doing that!!?? So lame. Also it does look like Hound's face has some chubbines to it.

Early revealed to be Ravage.

Universe Hound and Ravage! Ravage still fits in G1 Soundwave's chest.
microclone:
im trying to figure out cyclonus's TF. initially looks rather obvious but perhaps hes more complex than first seems.

Im thinking that the front of the lower legs is sat underneath the fuselage but the back of the lower leg is the top of the fuselage and the two are brought together with some type of connecting hinge. the nose cone tip retracts, the main part of the cone then folds upinto the cockpit area (after the lid is flipped). that whole section is then folded into the back (where the rear of the legs/fuselage thrusters were). the wings and arms are self explanatory and the head appears from somewhere! (i hope the horns are integrated with the ship!)

And it's also slang for "slut". So it's not lame, just Hasbro covering all bases so they don't have any annoyingly self-righteous parent groups come down on them.

Slag is slang for slut....in the English language? I've never even heard of anyone using it in that context.

Well they DO sell Transformers outside of the old US of A.

Hey I just thought about it and does anyone else almost feel Target 2006ish with cyclonus, Hound and the Magnus armor?

It is, but pretty much only over in Europe. I knew it was slang for something, but wasn't sure what it was slang for. Now I know, and knowing is half the battle...
Cloudraker:
Cyclonus and Nightstick takes the cake this round. Hound and Ravage get seconds.
I like Infernos head sculpt the best. Cheetor looks horrible. Bad kitty.
The repaints are ok. I dont know if I want another rendition of these molds, perhaps only Bruticus.

Where are the pics of the rumored Hotshot, Overload & Leo Prime?

its all rather ridiculous.

When g1 slag was sold initially the word slag was used widely in the UK already. Its something to do with protecting innocent ears or not being offensive or something equally inane. maybe he should have been called 'stud' instead to remove the negative sexist connotation and replace it with the positive 'male who sleeps around' word instead!!
Hiro Prime:
(skipping 7 pages)

All look nice. Love the Cyclonus. Wish we could see the Ravage with Hound. (in Puma mode) Robot Heroes are cool as always, but I'm getting sick of G1 guys getting renamed. The old method of putting Autobot/Decepticon or in this case, Insecticon/Dinobot in front of the name is preferable to me than a new name out of the blue or the wrong name being used. Especially on a line marked 25th Anniversary. (what's worse, is they now have to rename Snarl when/if they do him later down the road.)

Ya know, it's very rare for people to make a comment about classic SS not being that good of a mold. I'm glad I'm not alone in that belief.

...still, if the paintjob is really that much better I'll prolly buy it.

I doubt it. The original G1 guys were generic enough trucks to work as a fire truck or construction vehicle. But this Inferno is most undoubtedly a fire truck. Could always grab Movie Mudflap, throw an autobot logo on him and use him as Grapple. Cause that's what I'm doing.

It looks like it is because it has a peg the same size as the hole in his hand.

News to me. I guess if they make anything based on the real Slag they'll just call him striker or something.
DJW107PRIME:
I think I might even paint one of little Beachcombers hands gold for old times sake.
Robogeek28:
My thoughts,

All of the new Animated figs look fantastic, but sadly I need to cut back so they'll not get a purchase from me, ah well.

Universe Hound, Cyclonus, and Inferno are instant buys for me. All 3 look fantastic, and I can't WAIT to put them on my shelf!

Universe legends, I'm skipping the Animated ones but getting the G1 ones, but c'mon Hasbro, we need Decepticons as well.

Robot Heroes, they're all adorable as usual, but I stopped getting them ages ago, so pass on these.

Repaints, Starscream is a big WTF?!? A new Seeker would've been nice, I have no interest in getting something I already have, ah well. Vector Prime and Scourge, while I MAY get VP because he looks nice, Scourge is a definate no for me. Had Hasbro made him Hun-grrr like they did with the Legends mold I'dve bought it in a heartbeat, sorry Hasbro.

All in all Universe is the winner for me, bring em on, I'm ready for them!
Weekend Gamer:
-Swindle looks awesome.

-That Shockwave pic is giving me seizures.

These are just 2009 Wave 1 stuff. Those you list are likely 2009 Wave 2 or beyond.

Yes, I know. Then his name should be changed for that audience. Not here.
DJW107PRIME:
Also I get kinda of a Magmatron IDW BW feel from Scourge.
Rodimus Primal:
Hound and Cyclonus are AWESOME. As is Inferno and the Bruticus repaint.
The Legends I'm torn because I want a Deluxe version of those characters.
The Robot Heroes I love but I'm pissed that Hasbro didn't name him Slag like they are suppossed to.

The Animated stuff looks cool but I don't collect it.
night-skyward:
Swindle and blurr look sweet in the animated line.

And inferno, hound and vector prime look awesome.
Razorclaw:
Awesome news all around. Hound, Cyclonus and the Legend figures are awesome. And Inferno is also great, the only thing that bugs me is the missing ladder. If you take closer look at Inferno, you can see that he is utilising almost the same transformation for the torso and arms as G1 Inferno.
shockwave2005:
My thoughts:

-TFA Bumblebee: So, is this like, a "premium" version? heh. Pass.
-TFA Blazing Lockdown: Meh, I liked the original version more. Pass.
-TFA Swindle: Definite buy. Looks great.
-TFA Blurr: Awesome. Will be a purchase.
-TFA Skywarp: Do want.
-TFA Shockwave: Poor Longarmwave....will still be getting.
-Uni. Starscream: Looks very very G1...but I'm not sure if it's worth buying again just to replace the original deco....99% pass.
-Uni. Cyclonus: WANT WANT WANT
-Uni. Hound: Want, but not as much as Cyclonus.
-Uni. Cheetor: Still on the fence. I still need to see if the proper arm transform will change my mind.
-Legends Brawn: WANT WANT WANT. Still want a deluxe version of the character though.
-Legends Beachcomber: Nice, but why does he have a gun?
-Legends Bumblebee: It's okay, but a pass for me. I already have a Classics Bumblebee.
-Uni. Inferno: Looks cool. Very G1-ish in it's execution.
-Uni. Vector Prime: Meh. Pass. Cool for those who like it I suppose.
-Uni. Bruticus: I did not see that one coming. Interesting, but ultimately a pass for me.

As well as the ladder, I also would've liked to see Inferno's back wings(if that's what they're called). They were pretty iconic for G1 Inferno. An ability to switch out hands for missiles would've been a nice touch, too, but that's really nitpicking.
Eric:
*Sigh* Where do I even BEGIN with all the problems that I could possibly see with these toys? Well, let's start! (INCOMING RANT!)

1. Hardshell for the Perceptor Vs. Hardshell Robot Heroes Two-Pack. Would it kill Hasbro to call him "Insecticon Bombshell" or "Decepticon Bombshell" instead of Hardshell? I know, trademark issues and everything, but at this point, it can kiss my ass.

2. Robot Heroes Slag named Snarl. Again, ANOTHER name problem. How about "Dinobot Slag" or "Autobot Slag"? Well, knowing Hasbro, it's trademark issues again. Seriously, Hasbro...listen to the fans. You did so in the past, why not the present? (No one answer that with a witty response, please)

3. STARSCREAM. WHAT. THE. HELL? We FINALLY get a G1-toon accurate Starscream based on the Classics mold, yet we ALREADY HAVE A CLASSICS STARSCREAM. Okay, granted, the first Classics 'Screamer wasn't COMPLETELY accurate, but it was close. And even Takara-Tomy took the liberty of releasing Henkei Starscream in his G1-toon colors. So now I have to go and waste $10 on ANOTHER Starscream just so it looks more accurate? Dammit, Hasbro, you know how I love repaints, but this is more or less of an exception. It just pisses me off...

4. Cheetor. One word can only describe this toy: FUGLY. If they wanted to make a new mold based on the first Cheetor toy, they didn't have to make him an anorexic Maximal in both modes. Unfortunately, since I am a Beast Wars completionist, I'll buy him.

5. Legends Brawn, Beachcomber, and Bumblebee. Just their size-class explains why I don't like it. Hasbro...bring back the basic/scout class, please. The Cybertron scout toys were AMAZING, along with the Energon basic toys. Just...make these three basic-sized. Legends-size is too small.

6. Vector Prime. When I first heard that this toy was getting a re-release in the Universe line, I was hoping Hasbro would fix some of the problems this toy had (the bendable plastic sword and wings, for a primary example) and keep the same colors. NOPE! Instead, Hasbro decides to repaint it into ugly colors, possibly as some sort of pseudo-homage to the first Universe line (nothing but repaints, 3/4 of the line was BAD repaints). Vector Prime looks like he's been inside somebody's ass, and tried to paint over some of the brown with silver and black. Shitty colors for a toy, a good repaint it does not make.

Alright, enough of my gripes. Everything else looks sweet, and I can't wait till they all come out! 2009 will definitely be an expensive year, that's for sure...
dragon:
another bumblebee deluxe whats so differnt about him or are they releasing him?

all right now i can get couple vybertron figures vetor prime, scourge- i meant bruticus universe figures il be getting definatly, sad but yes robot heroes to and the 2 animated figures looking forward to swindle, and shockwave

wasnt there mention that there will be release of the 2 constructicons in the animated show.?

if they remade unciron into the universe series they just might do the same with primus that would be super i hear alot primus is better unicron but he is smaller than him in robot mode either way if they keep taking cybertron figures and make them with the universe serse primus just may come out after all in couple years or so guy can dream.
Sideswipe80:
Snarl looks Awesome. I love the G1 Robot Heroes. We got all the Insecticons all we need are the rest of the Dinobots and Sideswipe of course. Deluxe Hound looks beautiful!! Too bad we have to wait till next year.
G1Wheeljack:
Not happy that they gave us Slag renamed instead of Snarl, I was really hoping for him. Not too fond of them changing Bombshell's name but I can see why. Bruticus is an interesting choice, maybe to celebrate RiD? I'll definitley get that Starscream, it's pretty much the Henkei version minus the chrome for $10.
Party_Prime:
what the? Good way to start the day, all these universe figs are mine in like what, 2 years it takes to find them all. and if this was mentioned excuse me, but is that a cassette on the back of Hound, Ravage may be? idk why but it just looks like that to me if anyone really can tell what it is
webz:
I had G1 Cyclonus toy back in the day, and it was a horrid toy, almost as disappointing as G1 Galvatron. Man, I wish I were 7 years old again... These classics/universe toys would have dazzled me!
Razorclaw:
As for Cheetor, his arms are mistransformed. They need to rotate 90 degrees and clip on the rectangular pegs on the animal form's neck. While he looks anorexic, I think it suits the character.

And I love Universe Legends, because of the size. They fit perfectly with G1 minibots. They're the same size.
Backstop:
Tell me Hound is not awsome, TELL ME!!!! And Cyclonus looks mint too :-)
CryoPrime:
Cheetor looks like garbage, and why are they already recoloring Starscream??
