First Public Images of Universe Legends Cosmos, Rodimus, Warpath, & Wheelie

The minicon High Wire's Japanese name is Wheelie.
Not sure if that counts though.

There's a HUGE cost difference between giving an old mold a new deco and making a whole new mold,
and it's not like the redecos are taking the place of new molds.

really impressed with Warpath's bot mode (he practically looks like a deluxe compared to the rest) Elbows add a lot at this scale ~ not crazy about H-tanks, but he's a great update none-the-less. so glad he's not a repaint of G2 Megs (although in a twist of irony, how long before we see an Armada Megs repaint)

Hot Rod also looks great in both modes ~ probably passing on him since i've got Deluxe Hot Rod, but he's pretty well executed: looks like a combo of G1 and Alternator Roddy to me. can see this one getting repainted A LOT, starting with Armada Hot Shot. To bad Windcharger is also Red...

Cosmos is still kind of a fail to me, the way the did the arms and the tail that looks ridiculous in both modes, but he's a unique character that works well a tthis size class, so i'll probably grab him.

Wheelie is a little bit kibbly in bot mode, but overall i'm liking him (he's screaming for elbows though). cool to see the little guy get some love after all these years ~ the headsculpt looks spot on. I could see them doing a Classics BB or Cliffjumper from this mold.

Well, Cosmos is still a crappy design (looks GoBotish), but I like the others. And even for Legends figures, all three of the others are looking pretty cool. And I really like that Wheelie--a HUGE improvement over the hunchbacked, urinal-looking original toy.

I wanted to see a Warpath repaint of Universe Galvatron rather than this tiny toy version, so I guess I'll have to radicon that one myself.

AWESOME! Pretty slick! Totally getting Warpath & Cosmos. Wheelie I might be, not 100% sure yet. Pass on Rodimus/Hot Rod as I already have the Classics version.

for the price Legends toys are and that he's a complete new design there really is no reason not to even if you do own the classics version.

They're only Legends for now. When it comes to this size class, it doesn't appear that Hasbro are making any character exclusive to it (ie: Bumblebee & Hot Rod are Legends *and* Deluxes) so I wouldn't be surprised if a couple of them eventually get larger versions later. Here's hoping so anyway.

Cosmos: G1 design with articulation. Must buy!

Wheelie and Warpath are mine basically. Cosmos.. still hoping for a deluxe version but we shall see. Hot Rod pass!

All three look terrific! Warpath alone is wild in his alt mode. I have the original, and this one seems like the perfect evolution. I think Cosmos' hands are possibly folded into his arms (at least I hope so), and I hope his abdomen isn't as long as I think it is, but overall I think he's interesting enough to buy. Wheelie is pretty freaking cool here - I also have the G1 toy, and this looks much better. Hot Rod looks fantastic, too.

Warpath especially looks cool, and for some reason doesnt have that "legends" feel to him, its like he's in a class of his own lol

I may get all of them save Roddy. I am going to get all the minibots in the Legends line cuz they all look so good.

I gotta tell yall up untill a couple months ago I didn't collect Legends but then I seen
Jazz,G2 Megs,and Hound on the shelves at Wally World and how detailed they were to
to be so small,and I was hooked,and like others have said they were like Minicons,but
they so are not.So now I am gonna get my hands on these right here too.Even tho
Cosmos looks cheesy with his arms the way they are I will still get him too when they
come out.So I love these little boogers in short.

Warpath is nice, but the Rodimus makes me want a Voyager or Deluxe version of it. It looks so much better than the current classics version of Rodimus/Hot Rod. Cosmos and Wheelie... look cool. I may get these if I see them.

I love these guys but the size class is a little Autobot heavy. I'd LOVE to see Insecticon legends.

I can't wait for them to get out!

i did my own research, and i see it is, weird, i swear i've never seen that before.

I definitely be buying these and I too am in the "never bought Legends" crowd. These plus Brawn and Beachcomber are musts.

I really liked the idea of a new Cosmos, but this is kinda painfull if he doesn't have elbows.

Frankly if Hasbro wants to do a better Cosmos on the cheap, I recomend a slight re-tooling of the Longview mode.




Wheelie I actually like. I don't know if I'd buy it thought. I notice the tiny triangle on the hood, is it supposed to be "inspired" by the RX-8?

Hot Rod(imus) I don't get. Wasn't there already a REALLY good version of him in classics in the larger size?

Warpath kinda looks like a mess. I'd think a Cybertron Defense Sureshot would make a better starting point for him (one big gun instead of two missle pods?)

Awesome. This is what I've always wanted out of the Legends class. It's cool to see them coming through. When the Legends Class came out I was confused. It never made any sense to me to have the bigger characters done so small. But I guess having the favorites at a smaller price point does benefit those who don't want to drop 20 bucks up on a figure.

But this makes sense, and yeah, it taps that nostalgia They'll be more or less in scale with the others, and get a much needed facelift. Rodimus is a weird choice, but hey! They're cool in my book.

I LOVE when they do Legends of appropriate (ie small) characters. Legends mini-bots make me drool with their coolness. (And yes, even Rodimus counts as appropriate since I'll consider that either a new take on the micromaster Rod that came with Star Convoy or Maximal Upgrade downsized Rod). Can't wait for these.

Great looking figures, though the only one I currently plan to get is Wheelie. Even then I'm hoping they make a Deluxe class version of that basic design for him. Deluxe versions of Warpath, Cosmos, and Don's Rodimus design would be nice too, but I'm not sure I'd get them. I personally think that Don's Rodimus design would make an interesting RID Sideswipe.

I am also in the same boat,and after i got the g2 megs and company i went crazy and bought all the rest.most were cool,some not so cool,and most of the movie legends stink,but the newer ones definitely seem to be headed in a direction that is very agreeable.

Now,legends reflector,and the rest of the minibots would be cool with me,and since they made ramjet and thrust in the aerial rivals as well as some of the other combiner bots in that set and the special teams set,they might as well finish out with the rest of the teams,even if they don't combine.

I'm getting them all. They look fantastic. I almost want to replace my G1 bots with them.

They are fine but I really don't like Cosmos' arms and hands. I can tolerate tha on a 20 plus year old minicon but not on a 21st century TF.

Am I alone in saying that I liked Wheelie's original car mode more than this new one?
