It contains a repainted reissue of Cybertron Optimus Prime, first seen in our report here, along with Cybertron toys Longrack, Blurr, Runamuck and Buzzsaw. Click on the image to the left for the full view of the front of the packaging.

Cool. I don't have most of those molds and a couple of them will fit in my Classics/Universe display nicely.
MetroBoy:
Sweet! I don't have any of those molds. Any Idea when these are supposed to drop?
Bass X0:
I only have the original Armada release of Cyclonus, Blurr and Deluxe Optimus Prime - I will probably get this if it gets sold here in the U.K. - if not then no great loss.
trebleshot:
Already have a version of each of those molds, so my want-meter is reading "Meh."
flywheels:
Well at least I know I can pick up that Prime on eBay (if he's still there) since I won't be missing anything special.
Jason Blue Boost:
The only one I want out of the set is the repainted Prime. The others I already have. This doesn't make any sense. I might have to pass on this one unless I have a buyer for the other figs in the set. What's funny is that they combined two of the Galaxyforce 2 packs and added a recolored figure.
Omega Supreme-1:
If this is the Sam's Club box, then count me in for getting a Sam's card. I missed ALL of these figures the first time through, and I like about 4/5ths of the package. Now, I just need to sit back and wait for the price to be announced. I'm hoping for it to be 40 bucks at most, but it would be a steal at 35.

This is probably the easiest pass I have seen in years. | So, umm.. who's up for more interesting stuff that's coming out?
move along..... deadwood ahead.. RobotoChan:
Oh boy - I don't think they could fit more crap into one box if they tried.
Megatronwp38:
That sucks. What a waste of a good opportunity.
Deadend:
Sweet, I needed that armada cyclonus mold for the helicopter combaticon.
Blurr is perfect for classics blurr for now, or even head swapping him to a better body.
Longrack I can't really think of any uses for unless he's used for a devastator arm kitbash.
That prime mold is being used to death. T_T Though the extra head could come in handy to swap to cybby mode animated prime(swap the head, paint the arms red, and leave the hands blue and it's almost a transtech prime). And runamuck could come in handy for a classics stunticon I guess. Though I haven't figured that one out yet since they haven't released an ultra motormaster yet.
Ravenxl7:
Well, looks like we know what the 5 Deluxe pack Sams Club exclusive is now. Not something I want, as only one out of the five interests me. Here's hoping the Energon Gestalt repaints are either wide releases or Target Exclusives.
Edit: Looking at the picture some more, that is going to be one big box. Also, is it odd to anybody else that it looks as though Runamuck and Blurr are going to hug?
ChErikS:
I see this as a perfect set if you want to get any younger kids in to TF's. In one transaction you set them up with 5 figures with a decent mix of good guys to bad guys with fairly simple enough transformations for them to handle and just enough quality molds to keep them interested.
As a collector though, I'm completely uninterested.
autobotmaximus:
am so getting this Dropshot:
I missed the whole Cybertron line, and they want to reissue the armada molds of that line instead of reissuing the best? This sucks.
Otispq:
Since I only had the prime, and it broke, I wouldn't mind picking up the whole set, but I don't have a Sam's card...don't no anybody who does either.
cheetorBWORG:
Bleh, I thought it was the Leader class Prime...
Oh well...
lars573:
Whether I get this or not depends on the price. I already have Runamuck and Blurr, but Blurr is missing his missles.

Nevermore:
It's hilarious:
A cool redeco is announced to be a store exclusive - waaah, why can't they make it mass retail, I only have Wal*Mart in my city.
A store exclusive multi-pack is announced to contain mostly unchanged toys from previous lines - waaaah, not even repainted.
There ain't just no pleasin' some people.
Deadend:
Depending on price, I'll probably pick this up for additional kitbash molds to use.
I've been having a heck of a time trying to figure out a chopper to use for Bruticus other arm. (Swindle - E-strongarm with E rodimus gun, Brawl - Classics Deluxe tank Megs, Blastoff - Classics Astrotrain, they each have the right size needed to the limb transformations to match too. Ultra Onslaught the core.)
Longrack though is a mold full of suck, why'd they have to reuse him in here? That mold blew the first couple times around. I would prefer a repaint of E-scorponok again somewhere, or at least in Energon Colors if not repainted. T_T
They should have dropped runamuck and longrack in favor of scorponok and a minicon or legends figure. Ah well. Runamuck's mold I never had anyway.
Cheebs:
WAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Oh, hell. Look at that mess! I just love how aggressively bad Armada toys are.

And some people are too easily pleased. Velcrohead:
Pass pass pass pass pass pass...
I've already got deluxe Prime (and I like the old deco better), Blurr with the same deco who proudly stands with my Classics, and like two other paints of Cyclonus...
Unfortunately, I've already got the "Oil Slick" purple deco of Armada Sideswipe that sadly was packed into the 2-pack with Universe Blackarachnia/Crystal Widow that I really wanted. I don't know why they keep trotting this turd out, as A-swipe (as I like to call him) is the ugliest and worst mold since Diaclone started pressing out toys.
As for Longrack, somebody please tell me why I should give a shit about him...
The only reason I'd get this was if I didn't already have Blurr.
artiepants:
wow.
to everyone who doesn't have these molds, you are actually better off for it. The only thing in this set really worth owning IMHO is Longrack's head. (which was a fantastic sculpt, really illustrated how tragic the Armada 'melted wax' headsculpts were...)
but Buzzsaw (Arm Cyclonus)and Runamuck (Arm. Sideswipe) even remolded are on the shortlist of worst Transformers ever, like, late G1 bad. Blurr LOOKS cool, but that's about all he can do since he has, what, 3 useful points of articulation.
Longrack's decent in 'bot mode, as Hoist was one of the more articulate Armada figures, but the 'regular hand' is just terrible, and that arm is articulated all wrong so you can't really put it in a natural pose. On top of that, the alt mode is pretty dodgy, has ugly painted windows and his Arm is just kinda sitting there pretending to be part of the vehicle, but not really convincing anyone.
Bendy Prime is 'ok', but really overrated, he was only really "good" in relation to the rest of the Armada line.
I'm still amazed how far back Armada set TFs in terms of engineering, and it's kind of sad to see them dredge up these molds again. Even though i loathe the Animated aesthetic, at least a fair amount of the figures still look decently engineered and articulated. After BW and RiD, Armada was just a colossal embarrassment. Thankfully by the middle of Energon they'd corrected a fair amount of those issues. Quote:

antapp:
Not bad. I wanted a Blurr figure to go with my classics, but he's getting rarer. If the price ain't too hefty, will get hold of this. Like the Prime too.
Scourge_151:
Oooh, not bad. I have that recolour of deluxe prime already, but I always did fancy the cyberised armada remoulds. If I see it cheap enough somewhere maybe I'll bite.
Omnius:
Fan outrage = lolz.
I don't have any of these molds - might pick this up if it comes out in the UK. Prime's the most interesting to me.

That'd sell some Sam's Club memberships!
SMOG:
Wow... that's weak.
Bendy Prime is a great mold.
Longrack and Buzzsaw would be passable molds if they were at least new decos (though still overused).
Blurr is really only if you're desperate to own a version of Blurr (or want to use his oversized head for an alternator bash).
Runamuck... that mold should never have been born. Possibly the worst post-G1 mold ever. It's not even good kitbash fodder. Again, you could use the head for something... I guess... if you got the whole 5-pack on ultra-clearnce....

Ah, well, Henkei T-cracker has rendered this point moot for me. (I'll go back to fantasizing that someone will one day mistakenly donate the Botcon set to my Goodwill someday...)
Backscatter:
CRAPTACULAR! (Wallet thanks me). . .

Chris
Laser_Optimus:
Eh, easy pass for me. I've already owned and sold all of those molds (I like bendy Prime enough, but I like my Nemesis version more) and the others are kind of bad to decent, but not really worth getting again.
A nice set to pick up for anyone with kids (assuming it's decently priced) or if you know any kids whom are into Transformers.
...though I do have to wonder why Hasbro keeps diging that old Sideswipe/Runamuck mold out for... it was horrible in Armada, it's two Universe uses were horrible, it's Cybertron use was horrible and this new repackage of it is also horrible...
Hasbro: THIS IS A BAD MOLD! ONE OF THE FEW MOLDS THAT IS ALMOST UNIVERSALLY REVILED! PLEASE STOP RELEASING IT! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE STOP AND SPARE OUR POOR EYES FROM BLEEDING!!!!
Eric:
Damn. I really want that Prime, but I alrady have Longrack, Blurr, and Buzzsaw...
Shark Jumper:
Got Longrack already, no need for the others.. Even if Blurr is semi tempting... Will get Animated instead.

I know some were sold seperately at Botcon '04 and some were Japanese exclusives. I got one of the purple Botcon ones for Alpha Trion.

Though, there's so many that I don't know any way to actually identify them all unless someone actually knows... Quote:

There ain't just no pleasin' some people. | "HasBLOW is forcing us at gunpoint to buy a warehouse store exclusive of four overstock figures from a past toyline packaged together with a redeco! EMOTICONVOMITTING! BAAAWWW! THIS IS TAKING UP SLOTS FOR NEW MOLDS FOR TRAILBREAKER AND WINDCHARGER! TAKARA WOULDN'T DO THIS TO US!"
All I can say is my chances of getting this set are pretty good since everyone is hating on it. Though hating an exclusive doesn't stop some people from buying them for resale on ebay, apparently. I'm looking at YOU, Shattered Glass...
And scream "PLAYSKOOL" all you want, but a toy like Armada Smokescreen is more durable and fun six years after the fact than any Titanium figure fresh out of the packaging could ever be.
Aaron:
Wow, only 1.5 good molds in a 5 pack. That's an amazing pass.
