Wow, I really, really hope this comes over to the US. I don't those two molds.
I am LOVING the universe repaints, it seems like there repainting every cybertron mold I don't have! Yay!

i'm remembering how incredibly long both of these shelfwarmed (pretty sure the Crumplezone remold/deco came and went and original Crumplezones still kept shelves toasty) and thinking "repackaged old stock". i have a hard time believing they'd re-run these without at least a color change...

Not interested. I'm looking for the Roadbuster and Dirge twin pack though. That is a must have for me.

Wow. That's really random. But pretty cool for folks who don't have the GF repaint of the Prime. The colors work out well for that toy.

If it was Dark Crumplezone then I woulda been excited, but this, this is meh.

Ok, it's a bit cooler then meh, but that's simply because of the "WTF" factor of doubling up these two molds in a 2 pack

That IMHO is junk.......along with pretty much everything in the Cybertron line. After they gave us great quality stuff like Classics, Animated, and Movie figures why the hell would they dig that garbage up?

It's like giving someone filet mignon and then expecting them to like a Big Mac just as much.

The cyber key looks very nice. I never got that version though I have the GF and the Cybertron "grey" one. I'm not so sure on Crumplezone though. Great toy but I honestly don't need a third of the guy. This will be an expensive little set.

I own both of them and you won't really be disappointed by the figures, (who did'nt shelfwarm nearly as badly as quickmix, metroplex, and the king of shelfwarming: mudflap). Repackaged these are not cool for me.

Now armada overload though. I want to get that universe re-release as I hav'ent found one with the missles online for a good price. This is why I want one:

I agree. I got Crumplezone on sale because of his shelf-warming, he was the only Cybertron toy left to go on clearance, and didn't sell for a month when I got him on super-clearance. So, I would totally get this pack if it had DC because I don't have Dark Crumplezone, who is far more awesome, anyway.

I don't have GF Prime either, finding him at Family Dollar for 20 bucks was a one-time only sort of thing, then I never saw him again when I went back to get him a week later. (Kinda surprised, Family Dollar isn't known for selling their toys fast or in small quantities) Did get Metroplex tho.

So, maybe if I didn't have Crumplezone, and maybe if it was cheap enough (GF Prime is real cheap most of the time), and maybe if I lived in Canada, I might get him. Maybe.

Meh... This is a good chance for those that did not pick these up originally, otherwise an easy pass.

Fail. That Cybertron/GF Prime mold is an awesome toy, with huge guns, a fun base mode and two great robot modes. Crumplezone is fun too, and he's where your precious Animated Grimlock got his underbite.

Also, I just can't see the connection between these 2 pieces. If this MUST come then how about pairing it with REPAINTED Wing Saber/Leobreaker instead?

Interesting set. Here's hoping it comes out here in the US, as I'm actually considering getting it. I did own that very same Prime at one point, but sold it. Both would make good kitbash fodder.

Awesome! I'm missing cybertron Prime, so I'm definately getting this. But it looks that it won't to be released in Latin America, there's no spanish on that packaging.

Wasn't Cybertron considered a very good toyline for the most part? Classics is pretty much Cybertron toys without a key gimmick.

Before somebody here moans "But Cybertron was all futuristic vehicles!", almost a third of the line was Earth vehicles. That's essentially why Cybertron redecoed as G1 characters work so well with Classics and the new Universe toys.

And like Foster says, Cybertron Leader class Prime is awesome. One of the best Leader class toys they ever made.

I understand your point and I wasn't trying to attack anyone who likes the Cybertron line......I was just stating my opinion. As for the repaints of Cybertron toys in the Classics line.......I think those are junk too and they have no place in Classics/Universe. (I saw a bunch of them over the weekend picked them up, looked at them, and thought to myself "What the hell is this garbage doing in this line?")

Cybertron Prime is generally recognized as being one of the better Prime molds in recent years. YMMV, of course.
Indeed. Playability is off the scale with this guy, and this is one of the more creative and attractive repaint ideas for Prime. It still retains the general look, but the pearlescent red paint & black detailing really does something for the mold.

Cybertron is what got me back into collecting TFs again. That line had a lot of awesome molds. Better than Armada and Energon, that's for sure. Just my opinion!

I was GOING to be a completionist on this line.. but not anymore. Not picking these guys up at all.

What's "lazy" about taking two figures that they've got lots of still lying around (since they didn't sell) and repackaging them together to try to get rid of old stock?

Would you actually rather they just threw all those unsold toys in the incinerator? And, before you say "yes," understand that such a wasteful practice would almost certainly mean that, since Hasbro's gonna lose money on those, they'll just start charging us even more for the new stuff.

Great quality? are you sure? I love the new animated and universe lines, but the cybertron toys are just great, and much better in quality!

Both are decent figs, but this must be overstock or something. Would've been better if Cyb Prime was in his original colours.

Odd choices for a twin-pack. Total pass, unlike the upcoming WW repaints (Yay, Ratbat!) Still, nice to see Canada's finally getting all these special 2-packs even if they're left-field, out of nowhere, repackaged toys that didn't do to well the first time around.

And man, that box's gonna be huge!

Man, too bad they didn't save Cybertron Prime and repaint him into Menasor. We need to get some of these Legends guys into full sized figures. That'd have been the best opportunity right there.

Also, I'm assuming it'll say "Cybertron Series" on the side?

Its cool they're re-releasing the Prime again, but why Crumpy? he gathered dust everywhere I ever hunted, both of his colors too.

The pictures are the Canadian packaging, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's a Canadian exclusive. For example, the only official images we have for the Special Team Leaders 5-pack is for the Canadian packaging but we know it'll be out in Target in the US. Now that these pictures have surfaced, I'm sure we'll hear where these are exclusive to very soon.
