| Buyers Beware: FansProject Shadow Commander Knock Off |
| Posted on 05-22-2009 at 12:10 AM by TM2 D-bot | FansProject and board members S250 and daelite20 have alerted that a Shadow Commander knock off has been released. It appears the knock off is based on the earlier City Commander mold as it does not have the newer Shadow Commander's screw holes.
Pictures comparing the original with the knock off can be seen by clicking on the title bar.

didn't they say the mould was destroyed so their could not be any possible KO's.... lol guess that was not quite the case if these are high quality.
but its a shame that we are now getting KO's of toys from small indie companys I cant help but think this can only harm the fan toys community

the different between the real and KO is
1.KO is loose
2.KO no screws,only glued the parts
3.KO's package paper is thin and soft than real.

I'm waiting for the Chinese guys to make a really high quality KO of the Cliffjumper kit... KO Shadow Commander is an interesting idea -- I still need a sword for my Nemy.

There are already eBay auctions for repros of the Cliff set in white, so you don't have to wait long.

So the bootleggers took the City Commander mold, made a bootleg and released it as Shadow Commander, the version that can still be found at online retailers. That is hilarious.

There are more pics of the KO there. It beats me why they chose to KO Shadow Commander before City Commander, as the demand for City Commander is higher. I am not surprised at this but it is good to know this info. Somolia has nothing on China as the pirate capital of the world.

They are not going to touch the seller for now though.
