Video Review of War for Cybertron Soundwave

Really looking forward to getting this guy. Also, is it just me or are the Cons easier to transform than the Bots?

And I could honestly take or leave the intros. They're neat and add a level of professionalism, but its also like "OK, let's get on with the review."

This guy is all sorts of awesome! Plus, the opening deck is sweet! I do hope someone comes up with a custom or third party laserbeak.

my only prob is i wish the wheels would go more up on the back to kind of fill it out, he looks too skinny.

Looks terrible, not even a Peaugh review can save this one for me.

Looks great (albeit slightly gappy in vehicle mode), certainly better than Galaxy Force Soundwave as far as the cybertronian style is concerned.

Anyone know if Titanium Soundwaves lazorbeak will fit in his chest? Cant wait to get a hold of him and really courious about that.

Looks great, definate buy if the opportunity ever arises. That unofficial alt. mode looks like it may have been intentional... scrapped feature, perhaps.

If Generations does turn into a long-running line, it's still possible. Soundwave remains a very popular character.

What would be your criteria for an acceptable Soundwave figure? Are you basically wanting the G1 Soundwave, but smaller and with better articulation?

I was going to get this anyway, but the boombox mode kicked up my anticipation a few notches. I plan on keeping WST Soundwave and/or Blaster in his deck, assuming they will fit...

The only reason that Peaugh is doing his reviews without the intros is because he wants to be the first to get his toy reviewed on Youtube. He is sacrificing his quality reviews just be "the 1st guy". Quality reviews come first Peaugh.....because now Youtube is going to become inundated with same ole, same ole soundwave reviews. I want yours to stand out. Please keep that in mind.

Bullshit. If I was only interested in being first, I would have had this up BEFORE I left for vacation last week. I only cut out the intros because I had a pile of 10 figures to review and cutting out the intro/outro editing saved me some time. The review itself would have been exactly the same, all you're missing is a couple of pictures on a title screen and a one picture outro saying "thanks for watching."

A great review, as always. This convinced me that he's a good figure, pictures weren't enough.

I really hope Hasbro makes a figure to fit inside his chest.

Because we all know those 3rd party con artist are already drawing up plans to push a $50 Cybertron Ratbat on us!

I have been desiring a suitable Classics Soundwave for some time, and WfC Soundwave does not disapoint from what I can see. The fact he CAN actually asume a boombox-like mode only seals the deal even more.

how big/small are the Perfect Effect twins compared to WFC Soundwave? I've got a set coming anyway, along with the WFC Soundwave.

Just wondering if you could mount the little guys on SW's vehicle mode.....

And was it the Cybertron Lazerbeak that was too wide for WFC Soundwave?...or the Titanium Lazerbeak that was too wide? both?

Both are too big. Cybertron Laserbeak looks really good with Soundwave, though; Titanium also works, but it's not as good as Cybertron Laserbeak.

Seriously, if you're going to give credit to someone "discovering" that mode, I'm claiming fame to discovering Soundwaves Cybertronian lamp-post mode(c) using a G1 Soundwave.

I've also discovered the Cybertronian lamp-post mode(c) for Transformers Jr. Soundwave, Smallest Transforming Transformers (a.k.a. WSTF) Soundwave, Titanium Soundwave, Classics Reissue Soundwave, Music Label Soundwave and Mighty Muggs Soundwave*. Oh, and of course Generations Cybertronian Soundwave.

Please give me credit where it's due, lest I be forced to open a court case against you for exploiting my discovering talents.

PS - I'm currently working on discovering a way to turn G1 Soundawave into a Cybertronian hover-car (ala War for Cybertron), so please refrain from doing that before I do.

*Of course, you have to forcibly remove the head each time & sticky-tape the legs together.

Beg your pardon Peaugh, I know this is an old thread, but would you mind taking a comparison picture of Soundwave with Animated Voyager Cybertronian Megatron? I know WFC Megatron was largely inspired by Animated Cybertronian Megatron, and Animated's toy is just the right size.
