Wow, that was pretty damn cool. I knew the toy would be awesome, but the production work put into that video was pretty awesome as well. I loved the stop motion transformations and whatnot.

I want to get a good scale Starscream to put on the shoulder. I never thought of doing that until I saw the review. Starscream's Brigade is probably my favorite episode.

How do you attach the combined mode head?

Just email them and ask them to add a WST Shockwave to your order. They'll ship it all at the same time. I did that a month or so ago when I saw they had the WST Shockwave in stock. Kurt over there email me back within a couple days and told me it was not a problem and I could just pay for the whole order when the Crossfire sets come in.

As far as I can tell (someone can correct me if I'm wrong), the whole panel that the head is attached to replaces the existing panel that holds the Bruticus head on Onslaught. The one on Onslaught just pops off so it's a very easy and straight forward swap.

yeah, thats what i did as well. tfsource is holding mp ghost ss, frenzy/rumble, henkei bluestreak and this set. its not a hassle at all, give it a try

No, too bad you still need the other three crappy energon figures. Hopefully FP makes thier own gestalt set in the future.

After watching that video (for a second time now) I wish I had ordered two sets... but I can't afford that, so I'll be constantly debating on which mode they'll get displayed in.

Is there any thing about the colors of these and their accessories that would make it look like crap with the Energon Bruticus guys instead of the RotF ones? From what I can tell it seems like the only way the Energon set would be less accurate is the brighter colors.

No, I just looked at mine and it definitly will not just pop off. Maybe it is just a head swap. Because the bar going through the hinge is solid. meaning no popping.

Actually, it does just pop off. Mine has done so many, many times. There's a slot in the part of the hinge that is attached to the head panel which allows it to detach from that continuous bar within the hinge.

yes, you can just pop the combiner head off bruticus.


that is how it looks when you pop it off. Its not broke, and it takes very little effort to do it. Doesnt even seem like it would stay on when you see it off

These sets are beautiful and I'm hoping that FP, at the very least, gives us some new heads for the 3 other Energon guys so they look more cohesive in their individual robot modes.

IMO, merged into Bruticus and they look fantastic combined. Displayed in their individual robot modes and the 3 Energon guys stand out like a sore thumb.

i dont have energon bruticus, but ive thought of getting these two guys just cause theyre so cool. could always use them as g1 swindle and blast off (cept in combined mode. that wouldnt quite work), or just as their own characters

They will not give us new heads. They make add-ons, not take-it-apart-and-replace-the piece-kits.

Who says, are you their PR guy? Bruticus' new head replaces the old gestalt head. That's a take-it-apart-and-replace-the-piece if I ever saw one. Hell the Not-Swindle and Not-Blast-Off ARE replacement pieces not add-ons.

All I'm saying is it would be nice if we got a seperate add-on later on. Like the City Commander add-on set they released a while back with the gun and missle pods. Geez, don't be such a killjoy.

If FP won't replace the other three heads, perhaps HEADROBOTS will! They have done a nice job on Whirl and Bludgeon. Maybe I will contact some of the HR guys about this idea.

I don't see why FP would be unwilling to produce new heads for the individual figures. I'm sure that would go over well with those that have already ordered Munitioner and Explorer.

As for HeadRobots making replacement heads, I'd rather have them focus their efforts on HM stuff.

I'd still like to see these guys attached to the energon version, just to see what the combo would look like.

I cant wait for this set, I need to actually open my Universe Bruticus and play with it so I can learn how to transform it . I bought it about 2 months ago and threw it in the back of the closet waiting for this set to come out.

This is such a killer upgrade set.

Fansproject has truly outdone themselves. They've set a new benchmark. So much better than City Commander and Superion upgrade.

yeah fp just keeps improving on its self over and over. i deffinately think this set will go down in tf history of the big break in the 3rd party makers of tf products.
