Disappointed that the initial Weaponizer Bumblebee release had inaccurate stripes? Want a more show accurate figure? Good news, a more show-accurate variant has appeared! Dudicus has spotted a Variant Weaponizer Bumblebee at his local Fred Meyer store in Vancouver, Washington. This could be a running change so be patient it may take a while before it shows up in mass market, depending on how well the existing figure sells in your area(s).

Strange that it's a variant. I've had it for awhile now.

I assumed it always had the thicker black strips on the hood.

I never knew there was an earlier version that didn't.

All the weaponizer BB's I've seen and still see, have the thick stripes on the hood.

I do not think this is a new find. I bought one of these at Kmart back in August, I also live in Washington.

So just by adding a thicker line of paint will warrant some of you to buy this figure?! o_0 Funny how I haven't read any "I refuse to buy this guy since the paint stripe is so small" complaints before. lol

The three reviews that I've watched for this figure (Optibotimus, Peaugh, and MisterFanWank) all had the thin striped version...so I'm guessing that this change happened somewhat recently.

This variant is in the UK!!! Both types are on the shelves at Smyths Toys in Chadwell Hth.

Except this is the weaponizer size class and there is no revealed wave 2. So it's not like it's preventing anything else from coming out.
