Yes.

It's always the same until the packaging / brand name changes, like going from DOTM to Prime.

Benefits of POL aside, it's a PILE OF LOOT because you've decided that you don't need everything you've preordered the moment it's released.

And finally, pre-ordering Arms Microns is one thing, paying $14 over widely distributed and available mass retail just to have it collect dust in your POL is.....???????

You could easily spend that much in gas hunting, too.

If I don't stumble upon a Knockout and Hot Shot before my Generations 2012 book drops, I may add them as well.

For vehicon, prolly more unfortunately but I have a really hard time seeing that be the case for these 2 let alone anyone else from Wave 3.

It will ship the same day. I always hold my pre order to add something random that is in stock or on sale.

Then I Will have them ship it out that same day.

Smart on his part if distribution is as bad as it is here. Not everyone lives in well stocked areas or big cities with lots of retail chain stores and gas is 4$ a gallon now. He may save money, he may overpay BUT he gets the figure. Plus soon as that drops in his POL he could ship it if he wanted. I know I've missed many " widely distributed mass retail" figures and learned the hard way to preorder stuff I want.

The Vehicon I'm not too worried about. If I find them while I'm at the stores, I'll get them (3). If not... I'll still have the core cast.

My wave 3 deluxe figures shipped already. I expect the wave 2 voyagers to be in stock within the week.

I guess I haven't been doing this long enough, but considering I don't live in BFE, AND these figures aren't THE MUST HAVE representation of the characters for collectors AND previous Voyagers are super easy to get, why should it be nothing more than a matter of time?

Which is my point exactly about the POL. You pay over-market rates and then, in many cases just let them sit there. Yes, you're guaranteed the figure but what are the odds of not finding one? Are we seriously worried about people scalping Powerizer Bulkhead?

Great point and I agree with you on the price points for the Voyage size figures, for me though it's just the time and gas consumption, is the only reason I pre ordered wave 3 this time around, I did the math and with shipping only paying 50 cents more than retail. Usually I'll just wait till they do come out in retail and hunt.

They're all potentially must haves, although some more than others. Lopsided case assortments don't help either. Of course, maybe you are just more patient than some of us.

I think it's more like I'm just a cheap bastage, lol. Waiting is the side effect.

What is the case assortment for this wave? Need to know if I should grab screamer or bulk first.

Yeah, I agree. I don't know what they were thinking making it red. It ruins the whole color scheme. Rubbing alcohol should take it right off, though.

I have FE starscream but might pick up 1 of these if I see him, just to compare.

im just gonna get the vehicon, i might get the voyagers just cuz i cant get the FEs unless someone middlemans them or i find an extraordinary eBay deal

Awesome! April was very slow for buying Transformers...but May looks like it will be busy for me. I can't wait to get Starscream and Bulkhead.

Pre-ordered Starscream at BBTS but I'll pick up Bulkhead at retail, should I happen across him. Couldn't justify the BBTS mark-up on him when I own the superior FE version.

Dreadwing is in wave 3 at one per case.


I swear, Hasbro is freakin bonkers with what their choices in the waves have been so far.

I have FE Starscream, so not sure if I want to shell out the cash for the Voyager version. I'm tempted, though...

He's only one per case and not even in the next assortment, so if you're on the fence about him take that into account in your decision making.

Even though WE don't want it, kids will just because it's a big (relative, I know) Bulkhead. I think regardless of the area (and it looks like ass compared to the FE) he could be kind of bought on sight for most. Scalping? Hell yeah they will. It's the only release in the U.S. of it's size and probably period. If you don't have a FE it's your only shot at a complete Team Prime. People will buy it and with the quickness because of that. Never underestimate Powerizer Beanhead.
