HOLY CRAP Voyager is so much more Heroic in proportions... it makes the deluxe looks like crap.

That is a badass figure.

If I do end up getting these toys - and I am tempted - I would have to go with the Voyager.

I'm interested to see if we get a sharper looking figure from TakaraTomy, though. Might just wait and see...

Wow, that may be one of the best Voyager Primes ever, if not the best. It looks practically identical to the show models, and has barely any kibble. Plus it comes with BOTH his weapons. Even the cheap-looking grey plastic doesn't look that cheap.

but it doesn't come with 2 of each /plans to buy 2 anyways.

Y'know, that shiny finish Takara did for TFA toys would work really well for TFP toys.

Can't wait to get this, though I really wish it was like the hand painted version I saw at NYCC.

That's what I'm thinking... I have a feeling Takara's versions will just have that extra touch that will really make the mold shine.

We'll see, though.

Fortunately, Voyager Prime should be in abundance, and I can wait for a good sale to get a second one just to have the extra weapons.

Voyager Prime looks about perfect, but that hinged chest on the deluxe kills it for me.

Has anyone found good pictures of TFP Bulkhead being posed yet?

These really need better paint. The colors are so dull, and the gray plastic is incredibly cheap looking.

I hope Takara steps up and gives us shiny.

God-like. My first priority when the new figures hit.

While Voyager Prime is a definite improvement over the Deluxe, it is kind of disappointing to see he's not as tall as I had thought he was based off of pictures of him in in Hasbro's display cases. Eh, I'll still get him, though I will keep open to the idea of a Leader class version of him, in-case he and Megs do turn out to be the two in the works.

From what I've seen, the Takara releases are no different than Hasbro's. In fact, the figures shown in all these galleries we've seen could very well be the Takara one's (they have been released after-all). Even the packaging is exactly the same beyond the addition of a sticker on the front.

I pre-ordered the set from Robot Kingdom last week. It was supposed to come in yesterday. I'm hoping it will ship out soon. I am so looking forward to the Voyager Optimus Prime!!!

Takara's Prime figures aren't supposed to be out until December.

robot kingdom already has them, as mentioned before, pretty sure they are the hasbro with a japanese sticker slapped on them like the ones robot kingdom has.

robot kingdom has no prime figures for sale with out that sticker.

I don't know where you're looking on robotkingdom. All their in-stock and pre-order Prime figures are listed as "in stock", but the Takara products are not actually due until late December. The descriptions for the Takara Prime figures is "metallic paint".

The voyager is really better, but I think I'll wait for the Takara rekease. Not liking the dullish colors of the Hasbro plastic. Takara's use of metalluc paint would make theirs pretty awesome!

It's a joke because all pics of him had him holding the accesories in the same way.

We've been seeing pictures of the Asian-release Hasbro versions, not the Takara versions.

The Deluxe always looked like crap, especially with that joint in the middle of his chest. But the Voyager more than makes up for any flaws int he Deluxe.

Glad they are making a Voyager Starscream as well.

The Voyager Optimus looks way better than the Deluxe by miles! It still looks great painted or non painted. Besides we can always use paint on him ourselves if we want!

I definitely want the Voyager. Still iffy on the Deluxe.

...by primus' metal beard. why is hasbro intent on putting the edges of single-edged melee weapons facing the wrong way these days? between BBBB's axe and this... feels like I'm overreacting but it really annoys me. granted, at least with this you don't have to do surgery to face the blade in the correct direction, but it looks kinda bad anyway.
