Our friends and sponsors at Robot Kingdom have shared a couple of scans from the latest issue of Dengeki Hobby on their Facebook page. Dengeki Hobby’s May issue includes a nice clear picture of Arms Micron series Breakdown, shown here in all his glory thanks to a nice higher-res scan. The design looks very sharp and close to how he looks in the show – and doubtless will look great alongside Knock Out and Bulkhead. He’s allegedly coming to the US somewhere down the line, possibly as one of the three new Voyagers in Voyager Class Wave 4 – this will hopefully be confirmed at the San Diego Comic Con in July.
The second scan, which shows the whole page, gives another look at some other upcoming Japanese releases, including Arms Micron Knock Out and Vehicon, a Lucky Draw Transformers Prime Optimus Prime, and the Tokyo Toy Show exclusives Henkei Black Convoy and Transformers Prime First Edition Optimus Prime Clear Version.
UPDATE – There’s been a bit of buzz over the text on the image that implies Breakdown is only getting released in Japan. According to 2005 Boards staff member SydneyY, the text says the mould is Japan original, but it also says it is “advance release”. In SydneyY’s view this probably means that Takara-Tomy independently developed the mould without getting orders from Hasbro, but it sounds like it will be released overseas as well. It’s just Japan is getting it first.

But on the other hand, sometimes the actual toy looks better than the pic itself.
An Army of Bees
And Hasbro. And any other toy company. Hence the on-box disclaimers.
Stepper
You are right, pics from TakTomy can be deceiving.
An Army of Bees
It's not disappointing. It's par for the course for the Arms Micron line. Again, people need to wait for the toys to actually be out instead of freaking out over photoshopped stock photography.
Stepper
Quite disappointing that there isn't much paint on Knockout, damn TakTomy.
CyberShadow
There isn't much paint on him at all – a bit on the face, the feet and the side view mirrors. But, the blue plastic is a really nice deep and glossy (but not metalic) colour and really contrasts well with the light grey. It's a great deco.
Stepper
Yah,AM Knockout's colour scheme seems to be metalic paint, nicer looking
CyberShadow
My Breakdown has stickers.
Bountyan
99% sure these still have stickers.
Alteron_Sheng
Breakdown looks like he'll be the best TFPrime Voyager thus far (eclipsing Bulkhead for me at least^^) and I like Knockout's Takara color scheme, I'll probably go for him where I passed on Hasbro's version^^
Starfire22
So they decided to ditch the stickers?
sh002
breakdown looks awesome.
Scypris

Stepper

Transfan2405

BraveMax
I dunno if anyone's mentioned yet… But the article also mentions that there will be an exclusive micron present for school-aged children: Shining B2. So, a good or clear version of Bumblebee's micron?
seekerblackout
I knew Japan would get Breakdown first, I'm confident we'll see a US version soon.
Man, I can't wait for that day. That thing is art, even Arms Micron can't neuter it.
Deadend
I'm really digging his micron buddy hammer.
Kind of wish the hasbro one would have that.
xMAXIMUSPRIMEx
Breakdown is bad@$$
Stepper
Great but at this stage,no news of Hasbro Breakdown as yet.
