Our friends and sponsors at Robot Kingdom have shared a couple of scans from the latest issue of Dengeki Hobby on their Facebook page. Dengeki Hobby's May issue includes a nice clear picture of Arms Micron series Breakdown, shown here in all his glory thanks to a nice higher-res scan. The design looks very sharp and close to how he looks in the show - and doubtless will look great alongside Knock Out and Bulkhead. He's allegedly coming to the US somewhere down the line, possibly as one of the three new Voyagers in Voyager Class Wave 4 - this will hopefully be confirmed at the San Diego Comic Con in July.

The second scan, which shows the whole page, gives another look at some other upcoming Japanese releases, including Arms Micron Knock Out and Vehicon, a Lucky Draw Transformers Prime Optimus Prime, and the Tokyo Toy Show exclusives Henkei Black Convoy and Transformers Prime First Edition Optimus Prime Clear Version.

UPDATE - There's been a bit of buzz over the text on the image that implies Breakdown is only getting released in Japan. According to 2005 Boards staff member SydneyY, the text says the mould is Japan original, but it also says it is "advance release". In SydneyY's view this probably means that Takara-Tomy independently developed the mould without getting orders from Hasbro, but it sounds like it will be released overseas as well. It's just Japan is getting it first.

Neat, thanks for posting this.

Breakdown is looking to be the best PRiD Voyager so far, possibly tied with Dreadwing.
NC Bulkhead
Oh snap, my wallet just flinched in fear when I saw the pic of lucky draw Optimus!
Kaijumaster
I really hope Knockout really is chrome like that
Maverick Hunter Christian
Knockout's Micron looks really stinkin' cool. But is it a crab? Or a bat walking around with its wings?

Hard to believe that Breakdown is dropping in Japan next month and we don't even know if we're getting that mold as a domestic release. ...also, wow, all four Transformer drops for next month are Decepticons. Isn't that kind've unprecedented for Japanland?
Sol Fury
Breakdown looks awesome. I can think of a couple of people who're going to like this one.

Also, I believe Breakdown is in Wave 4 of the Voyagers, Hasbro said three new molds are in the works for that assortment and they only revealed one, Thundertron - I expect Breakdown is the second, though no idea who the third might be.
ORIO
I need to get a preorder for that Breakdown in somewhere
Lewa1267
Breakdown looks awesome, sooooo can't wait for the US release, even if it is going to come with a shitty powerizer weapon instead of probably his hammer.

If he's a deluxe then he shouldn't have the Powerizer weapon.
Wheeljack comes with his Two Swords of Awesomeness.

There is possibility of the item for Japanese markets in Breakdown.
The contents of "the Japanese original are listed in the die of Breakdown" in a book.It may become the toy of different specifications when HASBRO releases Breakdown.I think HASBRO not to announce PRIME Breakdown at present.Breakdown which became clear in Cybertroncon of the other day was the thing which TOMY announced. I pay attention to future information.
General Tekno
I'm trying to figure out, looking at Breakdown, just where the Powerizer clear arms are on him.

I see the windshield on the arms, but that's about it.
TedimusPrime
Japanese Knockout is a TFcon pick up for sure- especially if he has the stickers where it counts.

Yeah; that got noted by people. I'm suspecting that Hasbro hasn't revealed the mold yet because it's somehow going to be a spoiler.

Which would mean it won't be released as Breakdown, but instead as...
Molina00
I'm not sure the accuracy of TFWiki.net, but they list Dreadwing as wave 3, Thundertron wave 4, and Skyquake/Breakdown in future waves.

Thundertron's the only one we have confirmed. The others are speculative.

I know I'm hoping one of the three figures we get is an Insecticon/Hardshell, that said. More likely to be the latter, I'd think, given it's a named character and Insecticon tends to be used as a subfaction moreso.
ORIO
Dammit. I love that RhinoHammer!!!!

All powerisers have an additional molded plastic weapon in addition to the "mechtech" so hopefully hae has something that passes for his proper hammer.

Oh, I know. Smasher seemed confused on the size class so I was just clarifying. Unless, I'm misunderstanding something.

also, RHINOHAMMER.

Check BBTS frequently. If someone cancels then it will become available. that's how I got my preorder in last week.

My only complaint about that Breakdown is that he's not standing here on my desk right now. Hot damn he looks good.

The Rhinohammer is indeed most mighty.

Yeah, I keep checking but no luck. Put an order in with TFsource for right now though
SPLIT LIP
Also, Knockout is so not going to be that shiny. And even with the shininess, I can see he's missing paint apps. And that picture probably has the stickers aplied.
Shark Jumper

I predict Breakdown's Mech Tech to be something similar to this.
barrelks
Would love to see an official US announcement so I could dump the preorder. Really don't want to pay $50+ for this, but I may have to.
lordmegatron64
vehicle mode is too bulky.
legs look ugly.
henkai knockout should have a complete remold.
why are they releasing Nemesis Prime from Classics?
The only GOOD micron so far is the one that comes with soundwave since it transforms into the tentacle he actually uses in the show.
all the other micron are pointless and they need to stop making them. its just a waste of money and time.
you never see the little bastards in the show so why bother? its the same problem with Transformers Cybertron. There was only 1 minicon yet they saw fit to repaint all the minicons from armada and release them. Hasbro and Takara could be making figures that are actually worth getting if they didnt waste their resources!

i honestly dont see how you so called "fans" support figures like these that dont even look accurate. knockout looks disgusting and i think after seeing it, the real knockout would claw is optics out.

These aren't "Henkei", for one. That was the Classics line from a few years back. Arms Micron is taking the Hasbro figures and trying to modify them to appeal to the modelbuilding craze - thus the stickers/microns. It's a VERY different market than North America.

(Heck - Japan LOVES the Microns, given they keep releasing PCC minicon repaints there.)

As for the Nemesis Prime, it's a convention exclusive. And it's a different deco anyway.

And in the case of Megatron the “Mechtech” weapon is a fairly close approximation of his weapon in the show.
Maybe Breakdown will have a similar weapon, too.

Also, RHINOHAMMER.

Conversely, it could end up like Prime and Bulkhead's weapons.

Bulkhead's, while neat, isn't really a good representation of his show weapon.
Optimus1116
Breakdown is AWESOME!
Axelle
Soo glad I went ahead and pre-ordered Breakdown back when we first saw the prototype. Even if the Japan-only stuff turns out to be BS, the lack of see-through plastic on this version and the sheer awesomeness of that Rhinohammer is enough for me to justify the import.
xMAXIMUSPRIMEx
that breakdown looks ****ing amazing!!
hope the US one dosnt come with a ****piece weapon, but we can only hope
Kylehudson14
Breakdown looks amazing!!!

That is the more likely outcome, I'm sure.
The Bucket Kitten
If Hasbro releases Breakdown, please?, I can see his weapons being either 1. The "Mech-tech weapon" is the hammer while the normal weapon is his shoulder mounted gun or 2. The "Mech-tech weapon" is the gun while the normal weapon is the hammer. I hope option 2 is the way that comes out.

In all likely hood, it'll probably a mech tech hammer. So, option 1
ZEGR
i hope breakdown will be as big as the FE bulkhead and not as the PRID one

I'm sorry but i haven't been able to find a compare between the both Bulkheads side by side and not in a pose?
Shockwave9227
I'm so preordering Breakdown. He looks like win.
Chopperface
Breakdown looks amazing.

Hopefully in the US release it'll be hammer time.
NLWprime
its a toy that we may get at least 3 different versions of.
1 with normal head
2 head with eye patch
3 the syles version if they give breakdown a new color
dremel
So he is AM-12 right?

Also, is he getting released in the US? I always thought the Hasbro releases their version before Takara.
fallen_revenge
WOW! Thats awesome he looks tied to Dreadwing!
naldopr
I pre order bd since they did the announcement here and I was so worry by the fact he was almost 72 shipped to me now I'm still ehh on the price, but if he is not release in the state I will loose again like I did with fe optimus prime and bulkhead decisions.......decisions...
Optimus1138
Breakdown looks pretty decent.
