The official Transformers Facebook page has posted a new image from the grand finale of Transformers Prime, Deadlock. This new image shows Bumblebee making a heroic charge – what he’s holding could be considered a spoiler, so you’ll have to check out the full picture after the break.

I respectfully disagree i think DOTM was the best way for megatron to die in this series because megatron was a total ass. But I am still pissed that optimus wasn't the one to kill megatron, avenging bumblebee's damage to voice and all others autobots who have fallen. So this is still bullshit to me, but I only hope optimus kills megatron/unicon in predacons rising then I will be satisfied.

Yeah I like this episode too, one of the better ones thus far but I'm glad that it's finally over & done with. It's time for something different.

Episode was probably the best this series – but honestly fell short for me.
Would have preferred if Bumblebee remained dead – as having Bumblebee be resurrected via the 'magic goop' meant simply that Megatron could have repaired himself if only he fell into the middle…
Though I have to admit – I wouldn't have minded Bumblebee killing Megatron if it hadn't ended the entire fight. Maybe if something more happened – for example if one or more of the following happened;
Arcee could have died in series 1
Bulkhead could have died in series 2
Ratchet could have died in series 3
Miko could have helped organise the attack
Raf could have fought using the Prime Armor and been the one to figure out a way to defeat Soundwave
Jack could have used the space bridge technology to drop Vehicons off the ship or transport them elsewhere (The Moon possibly)
Wheeljack could have fought Soundwave and they both could have been trapped in the dead zone
I think we can all agree Megatron died in a better way than in DOTM.
AMG
Both true, but it did have some enjoyable characters.

And wasted potential.

And thus Ends Transformers Prime.
may it forever be remembered for it's unbridled mediocrity.

OK. There is also a "Unicron Galvatron" figure coming out for BH Cyberverse.

I'm in surprise at all the comments that episode was amazing. Wait a month and everyone will be begging for this terrible show with terrible writers and terrible ending to come back. Sometimes the fandom crack me up. Not every show has to play by all the same rules. Great episode of Prime and I for one am sad to see this series end
CybertronianFan
As I said before. TF: Prime has, for some whacked reason, taken the Marvel stance with characters – no one ever truly dies hehe

The star saber could be held by anyone and used as a sword by anyone (take the forge of solus as a example with Magnus) but in order to harness its energy and raw power you need to be a prime.
baggzey23
If the star saber/dark star saber cant be picked up by anyone but a prime who put it in the nemesis? Clearly anyone can use it as a sword
blackwidow1972
Correct very fast and short threw it together like crap.
Exodus
Such a quick ending to this series….

I am extremely disappointed they did a great thing killing BB then two seconds resurrecting him. I thought in Prime once dead you ain't coming back! What's next Unicron wakes up again and says to Meg's maybe I underestimated you sorry bud I will give you an awesome new look dude LOL.
CybertronianFan
Just throwing this out there, but you are aware of the BH Sharkticon Megatron fig, right?
Dark Screamer
I hated that moment in the episode. (BB and the Star Saber) It was a crappy end for this Megatron fan. If they do have Megatron come back as Galvatron, I hope they pick Frank, but if they don't, I hope at least Starscream makes a return, there has to be something left of the show I like or I won't ever watch another TF as long as I live. I mean that. How many times do they have to blow the show with the same deaths? It's neverending, the cycle that the writers use. The same plot, the same routine, the same deaths. I'd like to be amazed by something different. And where are Thundercracker and Skywarp? The show needs more jet fighters with personality.

^ There is no evidence whatsoever that the shield "weighs down" the blade. Blade embedded in rock. Shield protected rock from being blasted by a Cybertronian.
So are you guys bawling for not only being wrong, but aggressively wrong?
Scorpio
If the sword has a protective shield…
and that shield activates whenever the sword is not being carried by a prime…
then that means bumblebee should not be able to lift the sword – due to its protective shield which should be active.
The Dark Saber might be different as it is not truly a sword of the primes…
Scorpio
Umm…
Only a Prime can use/carry the sword as shown in 'Transformers Prime' season 2 where only Optimus could remove the sword from the stone – where Megatron and others failed to wield it.
Anguirus
Sorry that the show did not follow through on "stuff you made up in your head."
Only a Prime could draw it out of the boulder, because of the sword's protective shield. There's none of this magic bs about it being a different weight for Primes vs. non-Primes.
Once again people seem to get it confused with the Forge of Solus Prime.
