now my prime toys feel cheap
rime as we know it ends after season 3 episode 16. After a break, the show returns as "TF Prime: BEast Hunters" kinda like how Armada had a seperate arc once the space battle began.

| I don't think this is the end of Prime, necessarily. Hasbro clearly wants to stick to their aligned continuity and don't want to give up on it. My guess though is that they realized that Prime may have been a bit too over ambitious. CG is costly unless you squeeze a few seasons out of it, and if your budget isn't high enough it's way too limiting, which you can see in Prime at times (mostly with the empty environments). So what I think they're going to do: end Prime, but continue the story in a new series. My guess is that's what Beast Hunters is: the sequel show to Prime, likely with a new (2D?) animation style that's cheaper and more effective, as well as all new designs so that they have an excuse to sell new toys. |
