Madman Entertainment have added placeholder entries for two more Transformers Prime DVD sets on their online catalog. The first entry is for a box set for Transformers Prime Season 2, while the second is a four episode disk collecting the first four episodes of Season 3, Beast Hunters, titled “Battle for Darkmount” – the first of the final season’s three story arcs is collected there.
Both Season 2 and the Season 3 Part 1 set are due out on 4 June 2014. Placeholder artwork for the covers of both disks are shown, but are not finalized.
Oracle_Aesir
well since we currently only have the first 20 episodes of season one and nothing else after about 3 years…..
(saying that though, the DVD for volume 4 DID have a "coming soon" for volume 5, but that was a while ago)
doomiscool
At this rate….never.
Chopperface
Hear hear on Shockwave and Magnus on the front cover.
Underwear
Beast Hunters: The series where actual beast hunting never happened & none of the Predacons ever appear (with the exception of Predaking).
Autovolt 127
That would have made all sorts of sense.
The Season 2 cover doesn't look half bad. Though It's lacking Knockout so minus one point.
Dillatron
When will they get a UK release?
Sol Fury
Were it up to me, the cover of Battle for Darkmount would feature Shockwave and Ultra Magnus rather than Soundwave (who barely appears in that arc) and Optimus in his old body.

Like I said, the art isn't exactly final, but if my guess is as good as correct, the blu-ray version cannot be far behind if they're getting this out so soon. Won't be due until June 04, 2014.
Also found this as well.
The Autobots have been forced into hiding as the Decepticons take control of their new fortress, Darkmount. Shockwave arrives on earth following years of isolation on Cybertron and begins plans to unleash the ultimate Autobot hunter in an attempt to find the remaining Auotbots and put an end to all resistance to Decepticon rule. The Autobots and humans have one chance to defeat a common foe and protect their home.
Same date as the season box set: 04/06/2014
Contains four episodes: Darkmount, NV, Scattered, Prey, and Rebellion.
Runtime: 88.0mins
Rating: PG (I am assuming because all the DVDs have been put into this rating)
