Looks like June is back and Optimus Prime agreed to Megatron's demands.

Megatron what have you done!?

So much for being "Robots in Disguise"... If earthlings don't notice a giant blue laser coming from the sky we deserve to be "cyberformed"

I think the townspeople would be the only ones too notice ad in real life nobody would believe "a giant blue laser coming from the sky" without real proof.

I wonder if that would reawaken him and sense Unicron has transcend physical from could he just remake "Earthtron" into a new body?
HoneyPrime
Holy Sh*t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They weren't kidding when they said the season would not end well for the Autobots. I wonder if that blue beam is going to re-awaken Unicron. Things may not turn out like Megatron thinks if that happens.
HeroicC300
Alright, everyone chorus with me!

Daaaaayuuuum!
ChromeBlade
YES, JUNE'S BACK!!!

Ohhh, crap. Things are getting really bad!!!

Knew Megatron wouldn't be content with just Cybertron.
shroobmaster
I knew Megatron was petty but this takes a whole new level of insane mad pettiness.

Let's just hope this sticks, maybe?

Also, Cyberforming Earth sure came out of nowhere.

Looks like this'll certainly be an interesting season finally. Just from this clip alone I imagine this last episode will feel rushed, and more like it should be a two-parter. Though we'll see...

I wonder how the Autobots will stop Megs from cyberforming the Earth. As cool as it would be, there's no way Megs is going to succeed with this plan. Taking control of Cybertron is one thing, but reformatting Earth and destroying the entire Human race?...something rather different. Also, if the writers had the balls to do that, they could have done so with Uni's story in season one.

Was thinking the same thing. You'd think that would do all the wiring necessary for him to use Earth as a proper body.

The way I see it, the only way they could really stop Megatron would be to blow the Space Bridge.

Which leaves them on Earth, and Megatron on a restored Cybertron.
moreprimeland
Oh MYYyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Whoa...well, they got the kids back...but lose everyone on earth?? Yikes. Better think fast Optimus. Very FAST!!

(Would suggest redirecting the bridge beam back toward Cybertron...after leaving the planet of course, especially if it will kill all indigenous beings...or at least killing the connection completely and save both planets...Decisions, decisions.)

At least Ratchet was in the base and okay.....for that moment anyway.

It would certainly trap the cons on Cybertron, till they built a new bridge that is (which given the restoration, and amount of resources, wouldn't really take long), but unless something also happened to the one's the bots have, they'd still be able to go to and fro as they please.

Sees that Energy Beam and Thinks of the Energy Beam hitting Vulcan in the last Star Trek Film, anyone else think that?

But Come on! Friday Get here!

Gonna be a good episode for sure...

This is a major continuity error.
shame on hasbro for forgetting unicron.
but technicly Unicron is indigonus life,
so it could kill him or the massive surge would probily reawaken-restore him
killing all us motherfuckers and then conquereing cybertron.
thats a bad situation.

you mean to tell me that Prime sacrificed the safety of ALL LIFE on Earth and the restoration of Cybertron, for a mere 3 human lives?!? Are you fucking kidding me?!?

*sigh* this just pisses me off. -_-

He deserves to lose and die at this point. especially when he can't even follow through with his own orders.

"At All Costs" indeed! :/
Exodus
Nice. Can't wait to see this, too bad only 20 minutes.

The whining like entitled, spoiled children pisses ME off far more than the fact that Optimus Prime is being true to his character. How anyone expected this incarnation to be any different from his other incarnations in that regard is beyond me. And I doubt he knew what Megatron intended to do to Earth when he released the kids to them.

Seriously, people need to quit whining. 'BAWWWWWWW, THE KIDS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IN OF OUR ENDLESS BASHFEST OF TOTAL UNREPENTANT VIOLENCE!!!!'

Get over yourselves and stop taking this so damned seriously. It's freakin' annoying.

Keep in mind, Optimus wasn't aware that Megatron could do that. Also Cybertron was going to be revitalized anyway whether Optimus did it or not.

One day in the franchise of transformers,
main humans will die thus making the fans happy.
NOT.

That's not a good thing, you know.

There's a difference between a surprise, which is a logical happening merely unforeseen by the viewer that still makes total sense when compared to any forshadowing or build up that's come before, and a random act that makes no sense and falls in line with Prime's general attempt at grand spectacles that are introduced late in the game to unrealistically raise the stakes in order to be "epic."

Seriously? This is how they plan to make the finale big and important? Have Megatron randomly decide to make Earth Cybertron, and give him the means to do so? How does this have anything to do with what the season's been working towards thus far? Searching for relics = Earth turning into Cybertron? The hell? This reeks of the same genius that brought in the "prophecy" and Unicron as a corporeal being last minute.

This show loves to have this grand imagery that has no substancial link to the ongoing story or characters.

If the show insists on taking itself so seriously, then how is it wrong for the fans to?

If the writers are making a show that tries to be dark, mature and intelligent, then people are going to expect it to be dark, mature and intelligent. You can only judge the show by the standards it has set for itself.

The exuse taht "It's a kids show" falls flat on it's face when fans insist that it's dark and matter. You know what'd be dark and mature? Optimus realising that, for the greater good, sacrifices must be made. That's dark. That's mature. Not that I'm saying the kids should die or anythign nuts like that. But have Prime refuse the deal and then have the kids escape or have them be rescued last minute.

How many fans like YOU are there, really that would be happy to see main human characters, namely children, die in an animated show that is largely targeted at children????

Dude this is only a clip not the whole episode so I'm sure there will be a logical explanation for it so wait until it airs ebfore making such a judgement.

Secondly if you think back this was likely planned from the beginning. Think about it. The Unicron arc lead into the Orion Pax arc which lead into them finding out clues to what Project Iacon can do then after Smokescreen's debut we're now seeing the full revealing of it bit by bit. Making Planets into a planet like Cybertron's is exactly what Project Iacon's about not to mention Unicron's return. Sounds like a whole lot of forshadowing to me.

I'm sorry but it seems that maybe you're the one who's not connecting the pieces of the stories together yourself since you seemed to be not paying attention to the story at all.
Scrapmaker
We all know the Cyberforming thing isn't going to work out, but we do know that he still takes over Cybertron. As for what effect this might have on Unicron...Megatron is firing what I can only assume is Allspark Energy at the Earth. Allspark Energy is the complete opposite of Unicron. It could simply reformat his outer body and nothing else, or it could destroy him entirely.

I also think this would be a good time for their existence to be revealed.

I don't get the bloodlust myself. I mean, the character deaths we have had so far have been completely worthless, so why would anyone want more bodies?
