Sweet! Hoping this will be a good episode. Glad we're getting a break from the multi-part episodes for a little while. I'm excited to see how this turns out, we shall see.

The episode titles so far for season 2 scare me... as if they are trying to squeeze out all the good stories. Let's just hope the season finale is as good as these episodes we have, and that includes the season 3 premiere of Prime.

They could literally use some of the best plot points from previous TF series on every episode and I would be on board. Better then every episode being lame with only a few good ones in between.

I could not be bothered picking out which parts of my post has spoiler so I'm gonna cover the whole thing. judging from that clip from the OP goes bad thread, it seems Nemesis is an exact copy of Optimus so while that will be somewhat interesting, it's still no Scourge. Although Airachnid somewhat reminds me of RID scourge but she's only had an important role in four eps and smaller roles in another four so I'm not too impressed by her.

I just hope this will be more interesting then most of TFP so far and will have some kind of permanent affect on the shoes plot.

Ratchet's eyes was green in Season One episode 22 - Stronger. Faster.

Effectively conclude one thing, Starscream and MECH's little plan to create synthetic energon worked.

Let's weigh this.

Ordinary Energon - Blue
Dark Energon - Purple
Synthetic Energon - Green

Technically, Synthetic energon according to the story makes the Transformer hyperactive (like a normal human being on drugs - which is what i heard about the origins of Crystal Meth, gives me the creeps.) ...

That aside, the Nemesis Prime shown in the video was pretty calm and very much programmed - as though following protocol.

Here's my take.

There was NO WAY that Optimus Prime nor Megatron can defeat Nemesis Prime, however, MECH's perfect plan had an imperfection, the synthetic energon cannot keep the "biology" in the Transformer as alive as a real transformer/energon does.

Which might explain the "rust" - remember last episode the whole Biology of a Transformer came heavily into play - on the body of Nemesis Prime, but it is a defect that slowly and surely consumed MECH's master plan in the end ...

Because these descriptions can sometimes be deceptive. It could just be a part of the episode's plot that the government thinks Optimus has turned destructive, and then it turns out it's actually a doppelganger. Plus, MECH building their own Optimus would be a lot cooler than just brainwashing him, because as others have said, that'd basically be a retread of a plot we just had.

Color me shocked. Who knew the writers of this show would be so ballsy?

I've just came up with a theory. My guess is: Given the temporary alliance between Starscream and MECH, they stated that they need to collect Energon. And the best source? From the Decepticon of course. Maybe somehow, SS will try to steal Energon from Megatron again, but this time, he takes the experimental Synthetic Energon which Knock Out has been working on. And there comes Nemesis Prime

Just a random thought, though.
