There aren't news about the voices, but I think that will be the same of Animated.

Italian dubbers are always very professional also in things like cartoons... so I can't wait to see again those eps, but understanding this time at 100% lol

No kidding! It's like Prime just exploded everywhere!

I wonder where else it will show up

Italy before Australia?

It's nothing, I just thought all of the major English speaking countries would have it first.
Or I'm impatient.

I think they'll be on youtube quite soon. I can bet on some cast choices:

OP: Marco Balzarotti (OP in movie games, WFC, Transformers Animated)
Ratchet: Stefano Albertini (Ratchet in W4C and Animated, not sure about movie games)
Starscream: Daniele Demma (W4C, Animated, sounds quite like movie Strascream, but it's another dubber)
Bulkhead: Lorenzo Scattorin (just Animated)

I DO hope Megatron will have his Animated voice (Raffaele Farina) or his W4C one (Oliviero Corbetta)

Here's a clip from W4C:

Yeah, I won't miss It! I love TF Prime!

Marco Balzarotti was good for the Animated Prime: for the TF Prime version I'd prefer Dario Oppido, who gave his voice to the character in the latest DOTM videogame.

At least Alessandro Rossi, like in the Live Movies, or the classic Diego Reggente (his G1 voice), but I think this won't happen, sadly.

Yo! Just finished to watch the 1st episode in italian version

First of all it is a pleasure to see it in a good quality version, for me (I used to watch it on youtube, 'cause I can't reach american channels).

The italian version has a specific opening made for our market... actually it is not a great one, I'd prefer they used the original one which I LOVE very much (of course the one who aired from episode 6 in Us).

The voice cast is discrete, the voices sound a little bit "dry" (which is a standard of modern italian dub, sadly). Optimus Prime, ad predicted, is voiced by Marco Balzarotti, which sounds a little bit different from usual, because he uses a very deep tone to fit with the original characterization from Peter Cullen.

Megatron is instead voiced by Tony Fuochi, who gave his voice previously to Beast Wars Megatron, in the late 90s.

Ratchet voice is from Claudio Moneta, which is one of the best actors around, but he sound a little too young from the character, it is a shame they didn't confirm the Animated voice which was better.

Starscream is Daniele Demma, the same actor of Animated, but his voice is more deep (like Optimus) to fit the amazing characterization of Steve Blum.

Bulkhead changes his voice from Animated, here the actor is Pietro Ubaldi, who is a legend in cartoon italian voices, he made a LOT of different characters. In Animated he was Omega Supreme and Lugnut.

I didn't recognize Arcee's e Cliffjumper voices.

Jack, I'm not sure, but I think is Paolo De Santis, which sounds a little too old for the character.

Instead Raf is Davide Garbolino, another italian legend cartoon voice actor: he uses a light voice to fit in the young age of the character.

The dialogues are good, the original names are respected (in the 80s they were changed for a decision of the local firm which used to sell the toys, for example the Autobots were named "Autorobot" and Optimus Prime was simply "Commander". These names went on for a decade, and were replaced with the original ones in the late 90s).

As firts impression it is a decent version, though lower than the original one which is fantastic.

Just some corrections.

Starscream isn't Demma but Gianluca Iacono (Animated Prowl, and infamously known as Vejita from Dragon Ball series).
Arcee is Sonia Mazza, Cobie Smulders/Robin Scherbatsky in How i met your mother.
Cliffjumper should be Andrea Bolognini (italian voice for Carter-257 from Halo Reach)
The useless kids are Paolo De Santis (Jack), Davide Garbolino (Raf) and Gea Riva (Miko).

I think Pietro Ubaldi for Bulkhead is the right choice (he dubbed Ironhide in W4C... does this have a link with Animated Bulkhead being Ironhide in Japan or it's just plain coincidence?).
Optimus voice is unusual because it's also heavily filtered to sound metallic.
Ratchet voice is just plain wrong for the character, Stefano Albertini was way more suited for him.

men... the opening song has been awful !!! OMG what a crap....
Katarn84
Music is at least decent, but the lirycs... ugh...

Obviously I recorded it on my DVD recorder and the file is corrupted.
I can see it on the recorder but my PC won't read it and if I try to rip it (and sweating blood trying to do that), it lacks here and there pieces to a total of nearly 10 minutes... but the awful opening is fine...
Here it is the opening song: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=88LEXI2P
I think that if you don't understand the lyrics it may sound good.

Ok, now it's on megavideo, too. SO you don't have to download it: Sigla Transformers Prime italiana

Yo! Second season of TF Prime is coming to Italy!

From 8th October on Cartoon Network

Eh, I've heard the Italian dub for the first season (my best friend online is italian) and I'm not impressed on how the Transformers have this odd... monotone to their voices. They sound far more robotic than what they're supposed to sound like.

Huh... maybe I'm just not used to the way how foreign-language dubs are done. They're so odd...
Deska
I like Italian dub but I don't possess Italian language. I just saw few video from first season on Italian dub. It sounds pretty and awesom. I believe that the new dub will be perfect as well.

But how it's possible that two season in foreign language will appears in october, when it don't finished yet in USA?
faustx
Sweet, I'll have to let my brother know since he's there for the year with the kids.
Rodan75
Thanks for the credit on the home!
