Not an april fool's joke, either!

FanimusMaximus

TO THE XBOX!!!
crewboy7
My little pony season 1 is also on Instantplay. I think Hasbro might have made all their HUB stuff available...
The Bucket Kitten
I know what I'm doing today.
Thundershot
MLP doesn't even have a dvd release and it's there... GI Joe Renegades too
Hot Shot.
Niiiice!
Goaliebot
Dangit Netflix Canada! Though we did just get DOTM on it.

Then again, I bought Prime Season 1 on DVD so if they did add it, I'd feel like I just wasted $20...

So in that case, carry on.
crewboy7
Fuck yeah! First News Credit!

HeroicC300
Sweetness. Me and my Sister can watch MLP then Prime.
TornadoQuakeX
FUUUU- I literally just bought the DVD of it like a week ago, and yes, I have netflix.
AnithaPrime
It's time like these I wish I had Netflix.

I bought the BluRay and just got it on Friday and also have Netflix. To look on the bright side if you bought it you get the commentaries and bonus material, and (probably more important) you are supporting the show with your purchase.
ThundeR-CrackeR
It's times like these I wish Netflix were available in Scandinavia.
twiztidRodimus
great, and I JUST ended my netflix two days ago
ToasterPrime
You fellas should really specify US Netflix only.

there's a bummed-out Canadian over here....

That's not the only bright side. Bluray still looks and sounds better. I like this option though for watching random episodes at work.

Thanks for sharing & nice find.

Thank you for the heads up.

Really great news since it means not only Transformers Prime on my big TV but Transformers Prime on my Kindle Fire where ever I have wi fi access. I know I'm going to earn a bunch of cool uncle points today when I tell my nephews they can watch it now on Netflix.

Seems like a really smart move by Hasbro because now it means that the show can get even more exposure to hopefully propel those toys moving even faster.
Prowl
I hope their next move is season 2 on iTunes.
SquirtleSquad7
I've been waiting for this. Awesome! It'd be cool if they brought other series like Armada or Beast Wars over too.
TehPaws
I'm honestly surprised. Yes, it's all technically last-season stuff, but Netflix has been slow about adding things to its animation library lately--at least things worth watching--so this is an excellent sign. I may go ahead and rewatch the show just for the hell of it. XD
Batman
Netflix Canada is so lame. When I had it the best movies on it were Short Circuit 2 and the Human Centipede
Primal1987
This would be amazing if I didn't have the show on Blu-Ray. It's still cool news.

With this, MLP:FIM, and GI Joe showing up on the same day, I wonder if this is going to be a permanent thing, or just a one day only thing. Hope it's the former.
tfprime32
it doesnt matter cause there still airing season 1 on The hub still! and i recorded the whole thing anyway! so no cost no spending!!!!!!!! horay for me!
Ethereal
April Foo...wait...its really there?!
Altimus Prime
Excellent!

If I want to watch, I can use Netflix. I'd like to buy the set, but I dont want to pay double the DVD price for the "limited edition" bluray. A run of the mill bluray would be fine for me.
UnicronFTW
Damn glad I didn't buy the twenty dollar DVD when I can just get an eight dollar subscription.
nightwatch501
I was watching it earlier I didn't know it was just added dang
MaxLinden
Does this mean, more Transformer stuff will be on there?
Smasher
I haven't opened my BD set yet -LOL- but this is great news.
VaderPrime1
YES!!! I was about to buy the Blu-ray... just saved $40.

There's still some cool bonus stuff on the Blu-ray, but I hear ya.
RedAlert Rescue
I would imagine someone might have copied the extra's some place from the Prime show discs as they seem to have done so for the Live action movies - and they don't seem to get removed.

Are they proper 1080p ?
FanimusMaximus
Also apparantly GI Joe Renedages and My Little Pony FIM is on it also. I just hope they stay.
StarYoshi14
Just watched Metal Attraction. Amazing HD quality with little things you never notice. The animators do a real good job of applying a subtle coat of dust after the battle in the desert.
aledromo
Add me to the list of idiots who suspected this would happen and threw away $20 anyway. I guess I'm supporting them?
MoonBaseTom
Oooohhh, Old episodes of Airwolf and Transformers Prime! Whats not to love!!
Wingsbr
Nice!!! I'll be watching this for a few days
Oberoniss
Finally, Netflix does something right. Unfortunately I already dropped them for renting movies on cable instead.

Yes, but having watched both now, I'm still watching the bds at home. Compressed is still compressed down even at HDX. But at work this is still a sweet deal. These are more comparable to the iTunes versions which still contain more banding than even the blurays.
LCDR Blindside
I am rapidly spinning at this news.
j3
Yay, may finally get around to watching past the 5part opener
DeathAnghell
This is great! For some reason we don't have the Hub in HD so Netflix will have to do.

I just wish we could get season 2 in hd. I have the same problem. All of my episodes are in sd.
webz
THANK YOU NETFLIX! Again it saves me from having to go out and buy a DVD box set! I shall enjoy this as much as I enjoyed watching the Walking Dead season 1 during the season 2's winter pause. Woo! With my Roku streaming Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon, I don't miss not having cable/satellite one bit!
Nerdicon
Now I have a reason for my netflix account... I still plan to buy the Blueray... Just gotta get a Blueray player.
Ravage101
I saw this along with GI Joe Renegades...so fucking Awesome!!!!!! Now if they could start streaming Transformers animated....that would be so sick!!!
