Transformers Prime Optimus Prime and Bumblebee Kids Halloween Costumes

Popping in Wal-Marts now just in time for Halloween are Transformers Prime branded costumes! There's an Optimus Prime costume (pictured) as well as a Bumblebee costume. Perfect if you have any young fans in need of a costume of their favorite robots in disguise! This particular sighting comes from the Wal-Mart in Saint Marys, GA but doubtless they will be popping up in Wal-Marts all across the nation very soon.

To be fair though, most Transformers' lower leg ankle areas do look like bell bottoms. The Optimus depicted on the packaging above is a *ahem* prime example of where the lower leg splays out wider than the feet.

Not bad, but it seems like Transformers don't make for very good costumes. Nothing robotic really does when they are made from cloth or nylon materials. At the same time, using hard plastics or laminated carboard would drive the prices up.
