A lot of people have issues with the writing, especially.
Myself, I don't consider it the best thing ever – it's got flaws, but it also has strengths like anything else. I think I enjoyed TFA more though, all the same.

I screwed up and posted this in the Prime section without finding this topic again but here's a better version of the promo:

If that's really the case, then it's officially impossible to please the entire Transformers fanbase as a whole. I suppose that's not very shocking news, but I guess it's just starting to sink in (for me, anyway).
Transformers: Prime has something that fans of any aspect of the franchise can enjoy. It's literally perfect. There is nothing wrong with it whatsoever. I just don't get it. Are fans just complaining for the sake of complaining at this point…? If Transformers: Prime isn't the end-all-be-all Transformers series, then what the hell is???

Well I write this knowing that the best post on the thread has already been won lol. It's good to see that from last episode particularly, the way the show was tongue in cheek about itself with things like Bulkhead saying that Bumble Bee is worse than Miko; a quip aimed perhaps at the haters that they still liked anyway I reckon lol. But obviously the next episode is bringing a darker tone to this story arc. If what we saw Bee do in this trailer were translated to Star Wars: The Clone Wars, fans would probably say the character was being tempted by the Dark Side of the Force lol.
Here however it actually seems to give Bee more depth of character, plus the characterisation of him folding his doors back when he's annoyed is a neat expressive touch; reminds me of what some mammals do, like horses – and anyone who gets that reaction should ease off before they get kicked!

There are actually quite a few. Just look through the Prime forum threads

I think the Combaticons are coming….

Wow, I didn't realize that there were actually people out there that complained about Transformers: Prime. It's, like, the perfect Transformers series, and yet there are still fans who dislike it… I suppose statistically it had to be true. But, it still shocks me… O_O

So I am wondering if MECH's science project is what builds Dreadwing, or at least a body
for his spark to inhabit.

an episode where we explore the depth and character arch of bumblebutt who says nothing but woooburzoo like my moms vibrator and no new autobots to help the fight? geniass. I cant wait for another one in season 3, by that time there are bound to be at least more characters to help out one episode then not come again.

Although Bee will inevitably retrieve his T-cog (c'mon, was there ever any doubt he would in Part 2?), I'm hoping MECH's experiment proves successful and they can take the construction of a synthetic Transformer to the next level.
Folks are wondering where they can find viable T-cog parts for MECH/Starscream's theoretical "new army" and the answer is simple; Vehicons/Eradicons. Those guys are so easy to take down and their numbers are countless. I'd love for MECH/Starscream to build the Combaticons this way by basically upgrading some Vechicons/Eradicons with combat-hardened forms (instead of sports cars or whatever).
Maybe some other MacGuffin can give them some semblance of intelligence and free will too (spark extractor?) similar to how Vector Sigma gave intelligence and free will to the Stunticons and Aerialbots back in the G1 show.

At first I was rolling my eyes at a BB oriented episode, TFA had far too many imo, but the storyline kind of changed my opinion a bit. This version of Megs is a scary SOB.

Didn't you see the fight in Operation Breakdown? It takes time to charge, it's obvious as hell, and I'm betting it's very expensive to run.

This is all we're gonna get. Maybe Mech will never even get anything done. Well it's better no one does than Mech does and out shows the Decepticons.
But one question. Why the fuck does Mech never use those electro grenade thingies in the end battle? They can take out a Transformer in one hit. I like Mech but I get so annoyed whenever they appear because there's always a giant plot hole. The same plot hole that never gets fixed.
