This was my last takara prime toy I had on preorder. I am totally not feeling that blue. Not sure if I'll keep it now.

Of course..now if I get this guy I'll be forced to call him Freeway or something, meaning I'd have to find the FE version of Zombie Cliff so I can have the zombie I've wanted for like a year now

FE Terrorcon (Zombie) Cliffjumper will not be coming out at all....it has been completely cancelled.

Wow, blue was...unexpected. Not horrible, but I was expected the one that was shown earlier. I guess Hasbro's version will be the cartoon accurate one, huh?

Seems more like purple to me, Dark Energon infused deco. Looks okay to me - I think the purple / blue looks very nice, especially if the finished version looks so shiny (it probably won't though)

Methinks Takara did it to distance it from the regular deco/mold. My impression is that Takara doesn't do repaints per se, unless it's character-specific like Prowl/Silverstreak/Smokescreen.

Maybe they got confused and thought "terrorcon" meant "vehicon" and painted him accordingly? I think he'll look good in the middle of a vehicon army.

I dunno, screen-accuracy aside, this actually makes me more interested in it. I hadn't really planned to get one before, but giving it a completely new color scheme makes it more tempting.

The little faux-Ravage is a selling point as well. Takara really went pleasantly bonkers with these minicons. I'm not sure what their mission statement was for the line, but it is producing some interesting results.

On the plus-side for those disappointed at not getting a screen-accurate Zombiejumper, it would probably be a pretty easy custom to make oneself. Just take one of the pre-existing red Cliffjumpers, clip off a horn, add some burns and damage, and there you have it.


Actually, given that SG Cliffjumper is both dark blue AND a slavering zombie, that makes perfect sense. Makes me almost wonder if it was deliberate.

I - JUST - preordered this, because unlike some of the other AM series figures (Arcee, Breakdown, Knockout, etc.) we had actually seen decent pics of this. And now they do this.

People have no problem buying non-show/accurate half-clear/clear/black/whatever version of any toy yet they freak out about a blue Cliffy?

The FE line was cancelled in the USA...there won't be a USA edition of Terrorcon Cliffjumper....that we know of.

Do you guys not understand why they made him that color? According to the world of toys, bluish(on the verge of going into purple) is considered "zombie-like" also been had injecting dark energon into him helped with the color scheme. I don't get why everyone has an issue with this?! XD Sure its not a RED Cliffjumper with a "zombie face" and some battle damage to go along side of it, but its STILL a guy to add to your collection of Prime toys correct? I personally feel the color scheme will perfectly go along side my other Prime series on my shelf showing that he IS an "unded figure" I guess I just don't see the need for yet another cliffjumper that's RED sitting next to my cliffjumper thats already red. Diversity? anyone? ^.^

Maybe it's cause I just woke up, but the added minicon ports on the back kinda made me think of the back of the delorean (those black exhaust ports) from Back to the Future. The added ports on this come off better integrated, especially the one on the hood, making me think its a scoop rather then a block stuck onto it.
My urge to order this has risen.

I think we're so pissed because the FE version was cancelled and this was our only way to get a screen accurate version of Zombie Cliffjumper.

When original pics came out he was red. Fans preordered and then Takara threw us a curveball. Combine that with the fact that Takara is uncharacteristically screwing up the decos on these figures (generally they have better paint schemes than Hasbro) and people are a little shocked and frustrated.

The toyline for one of the best TF shows in recent history is getting shafted by both Hasbro and Takara.

Apparently he's going to be purple and not blue. I understand why they did this. He would be too close to the deco of the regular-release Cliffjumper. Either way, it sucks!!

I was gonna use this guy over my FE and RID Cliffjumpers as my display piece. It obviously isn't going to workout that way. While it is disappointing, I do enjoy the blue deco. I wish we could have both.

And the extra AM ports actually look pretty okay. The one on the hood looks like an engine block, and the ones in the rear look like spoiler mounts.

I think for this will almost be like a transtector... for mini-Ravage. He controls the deactivated body. And I like that the zombie comes with a double chainsaw.

i canceled my FE cliff for this one because i already had the RID version and still wanted the FE mold.... had i known they were going to change his color i would have just stuck with the original....


now i have to decide if im going to keep this one or cancel for Takara Ratchet....

How can you assume these are the same people?

I'm sure some people will have no problem buying this, but some of us preordered one thing, and now it looks like we'll be getting something completely different. Nothing wrong with getting a little upset at that sort of thing. We're basically talking about false advertising here, through no fault of the online dealers of course.

I had mine preordered with Robotkingdom - not sure what their cancellation policy/process is like. Guess I'll find out.

Blue Cliffjumper is cool if you were expecting a shattered glass figure and not a show accurate rendition of Zombie Ciffjumper.

(I.E. it's the exact opposite of what we thought we were getting.)
