Transformers Prime Hallmark Christmas Ornament

It's Christmas in July? Maybe not, but Hallmark has put up a listing for their 2013 Christmas ornament symbolically indicating we have passed the Summer Solstice and are on our way to the far end of the year. Hallmark's 2013 Christmas ornament is Transformers Prime themed, and features the head of Transformers Prime Optimus Prime, complete with lightup eyes. It also apparently plays some kind of voice clip. If you've been collecting the Transformers themed Hallmark ornaments these past few years, this is one for you!

I don't even know why someone wants someone's disembodied head on a tree. Except Megs.

But nice find.

I'm just happy we'll at least get one year without Movie ornaments. The best is still the mini G1 Masterpiece Prime.

I'm not impressed with this.

I stand corrected, good sir! *salute*

Seriously, what's with Prime and faces? KO's lucky OP didn't take his face when he abducted Vince (though the thought did come to my mind.)

Anyway, anything that isn't movie related is a definite win for me.

Does it say, "Nooooooooooo!!"? XD

Nice looking ornament, but I'll probably pass on this. There's at least one, possibly two Hallmark ornaments coming out this year that I already plan on getting. I'm definitely getting the USS Kelvin, and I'm considering the mini Hogwarts. Also I wouldn't call this "way-to-early-news". The vast majority of Hallmark's ornaments are known about a good ways in advance. Most of this year's catalog was revealed during last year's SDCC, and they're bound to be revealing most of next year's this coming weekend.

You picked the wrong Christmas Tree!

I believe that ornament was American Greetings, not Hallmark.

Yeah, and judging by the product info on the link, so's this one (Carlton is American Greetings).

I'm hoping to get Hallmark's Family Truckster ornament this year, maybe even the KITT ornament too (I've got the '66 Batmobile, the Ecto-1 and the DeLorean from the last couple years), but that's pretty much it. Nothing else grabbed me in this year's assortment.
SPLIT LIP
I'll get it since I basically collect disembodied ornament heads. It looks nice aside form the weird neck bit.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! That'd be awesome if it did!

It probably holds Raf's snowball. It is for the Christmas season, after all.
pulsedragon20
Not bad looking but definitely not worth the original price. If it's still around after Christmas then I'll pick one up on sale (at least 50% off) other than that, no way considering it's missing a body...nothing like a glowing and talking head
Billabongi
FYI - This is not a Hallmark item, this will be sold by American Greetings if you still happen to have one local anymore.
Chaos Muffin
Nicely done.
