I want to know why purple eyes Megatron is back.

To Much Dark Energon or corruption.

I'm confused, what about that trailer says the ship is sentient?

Anyone else notice Optimus and Bumblebee were both carrying the spark extractor? Hmm...

Why do I get the feeling that Megatron does not like Optimus?

Actually, I think that purple eyed Megs is from a previous episode. There are quite a few flashbacks in that promo, like the gas station blowing up, the season finale fight, and Orion Pax looking at the display.

Prime Optimus is ready to get the job done for once? Will he succeed? Nope.

But with Dreadwing to his left?

No, he had purple eyes when he pushed that lever.

Not quite sure if that's Dreadwing. I'm going to dig through my files and see if I can find that scene.

Did anyone else notice that the Nemesis' lights are all purple now, instead of red like usual? I guess Dark Energon is what brings the ship online.

So does that make the Nemesis a giant zombie? =P

yeah, like the last post, i was going to mention the purple cannonson the nemesis, meaning Megatron either used the dark energon that they got from One shall rise Pt 2-3 (the large amount they horded), or had some other bits somewhere else. Maybe Unicron is somehow out of stasis and can connect to the ship now that it flows with dark energon? Unicron using the ship so that he can banish the last Prime could fit--and why Megatron's eyes are purple again...

Looks like a great ep, I wonder where everyone else is? The Spark Extractor seems to be the Autobots' only out, as when Prime gets hit and apparently stunned, it seems Bee picks it up to attemp tot use it too, only to get hit as well. Ah well, let's hope this ep has way more in store than what the spoilers let us in on--like Armada this week, which had WAY more crap go down than we were let on to believe!

Since Dark Energon is implied to be used---does this mean that the Trypticon idea is dead? just wondering =P

its soundwave, you can see his screen face and 'crown' of spikes. good to see him again after he vanished away, doing Iacon decoding crap. Still peeves me off that no other decepticons appeared when the damn Nemesis was under attack

The Trypticon idea was actually already dead as soon as we applied it to Prime. The writers of this show would never attempt something as daring as making the Nemesis Trypticon.

Of course, these descriptions and clips have been so misleading in the past.. not going to get too worked up until I see what happens in the actual ep.

I dunno man, they did make Earth's core Unicron.

I have a feeling Trypticon doesn't actually transform and do stuff this episode, but it's just revealed and we'll end up seeing it in full later.

I can only hope.

Maybe there was Dark Energon stored in the same chamber as the regular Energon Bulkhead blew up.

Sorry guys, as much as I'd love to see Trypticon smashing stuff in the series, the ship isn't alive right now because of it being Trypticon.

Dark Energon however, is why.

Seems kinda obvious that Megatron needed his ship fuctional before the Autobots attacked, so he put dark energon into the ship to make it sentient and rise, while also using the stuff himself for some reason I don't know.

However, if the dark energon DID turn the ship into Trypticon, that would be a nice little twist, since it does show that Dark Energon can turn things into evil transforming monsters

Seeing as many of you are referring to the ship being alive, after its reconstruction with Dark Energon I’ve been wondering something...

Dark Energon is the blood of Unicron, which this ship is now filled with... It’s basically become a perfect body for the chaos bringer.

What if Unicrons consciousness takes over the Nemesis?

My money's on it being used to take "Trypticon" offline by the episode's end.

It would be insteresting to make the Decepticon ship Trypticon. A nice little nod to that Transformers Exodus novel when Trypticon becomes the Nemesis.

But who knows, maybe the Decepticon ship IS a dormant TF like Omega Supreme was in Animated and they used dark energon to ressurect it. However, I figured all the Dark Energon went inert after the last of One Shall Rise.

Wait Trypticon was taken online in War for Cybertron by Shockwave using hundreds of sparks he yanked from "willing" donors and dark energon.

Last episode Megatron just got a few possible donors (or already has a few old ones to spare now, like his Vehicons) and he already has dark energon...He could bring A Trypticon online just not THE Trypticon, new self old body type scenario.

Anyways, looks like another cracker of an episode!

I imagine that the Nemesis is sentient in the way that Megatron has used Dark Energon in order to bring it back to an operational status and then infused himself with it in order to control the ship with his mind.

Optimus falling?! He uses it and either Megatron somehow reverses the polarity (or has Soundwave do it) or Optimus succeeds and loses his own spark.

Hey guys! You know how Dark Energon reanimates the dead or reactivates the stasis-locked? And you know how, per Exiles, the Nemesis is Trypticon's body after a space bridge accident sent his mind offline and stuck him in ship mode? Yeah.

When he falls, it looks like he's frozen. He doesn't move his arms or legs. But his eyes are still lit up, so I don't think he's dead. Maybe the Immobilizer makes a return?

They said that when they kill a character that character is dead. So far they've held true to that and I doubt they'll break it any time soon.

I spotted dreadwing behind megatron on the right while soundwave is on his left nice to see those two.

How the hell does Megatron have his Dark Energon eyes, since Unicron was destroyed? If Unicron was destroyed, wouldn't that mean that all the Dark Energon was destroyed along with him? Also, it looks like the Nemesis is back up in the air. So much for the idea of having the Decepticons deal with their crashed ship over the next few episodes. And it looks like Optimus is going to use the Spark Extractor. My guess is that he'll use it as a "last resort" sort of thing.

Unicron was never truly "destroyed" if that happened, there would be no Earth.

Well, Dark Energon is barely mentioned anymore, so I would assume that it was destroyed along with Unicron. But from what Sinnertwin said, Megatron probably kept the Dark Energon his Vehicons mined back in "One Shall Rise".

Funny, because since Unicron was defeated, there has been no cataclysmic stuff happening since. Earth's core is just hollow.

Its possible that the "new Transformers" could be the Insecticons?
