Transformers Prime First Edition Voyagers Released at US Retail

Yes indeed folks! At long, long last the Transformers Prime First Edition Voyagers have been released at US retail. They've been out online for a little while now, but this second run of the mind-blowingly awesome First Editions is now beginning to turn up at retail. Voyager Class Optimus Prime and Bulkhead, two of the very best examples of the size class to have ever been designed, were spotted at a TRU in St Louis, MO by 2005 Boards member slackerforhire, who is most certainly not slacking in sharing the good news with us!

Happy hunting everyone! Far be it from this newsie to gush, but these are two of my favorite toys ever made. Hopefully with this second run now hitting retail many of you can get a shot at picking these up and seeing why for yourselves.

I haven't had a chance to open it, but just by looking at the hinges on either side of his torso, it looks like they're the same as BBTS's stock.

Another side note: can a mod edit the title to spell "edition" properly? OP was on his phone, so its understandable, but it'll be a killer to searches down the road.

Groupon had a 3 day (I think) deal - $10 for a $20 TRU credit last weekend. I think the Rewards R Us certificate was just due to buying a bunch of stuff at TRU lately and having them scan my rewards card at checkout. I don't keep track of rewards I accrue through that, because it's rarely enough to get a certificate. However, I received an email last Sunday saying my $4 credit was ready to print. I didn't question it... I just used it

It was worth it to me at the time, and still is, as mine don't have missing paint apps or stress marks anywhere.

It is good that those that missed the first go-around can finally get two of the best Prime figures made.

Scalpers and the hoarders with inventory are probably crapping themselves now.

Yeah, those brown parts around the doors should all be red. They're red on mine and everyone I've seen. Not sure what's up there.

Sweet, thanks for that update! When you get a chance, fill us in on the Bulkhead too...are the biceps still stress marked so that when you turn the arm it falls off?

These two voyagers are better versions than the PRiD versions. The deluxes are 50/50
