That was a pretty flimsy excuse not to kill her. It's like no side wants to actually win the war in this show.

I'm going to presume that this Mcguffin is the Key to Vector Sigma. Or possible even the Omega key, but I doubt that it is.

This episode looks fun to watch. Can't wait for Prime and Megattron to battle with their respective weapons of choice. Is that supposed to be Zeta Prime's hand? If so, Megatron went up in the evil factor.

If the strike didn't kill Arcee and Smokescreen the first time, why would it do so a second, third or fourth time?

Optimus split a mountain in two broke the back half of the Nemesis with one hit each--did he will the sword to make two different cuts? Why can't/couldn't Megatron?

This goes into what I was saying in the Arcee being nasty/snarky thread. In the past she jumped ran into danger, putting herself in harms way with guns blazing. I think she did so welcoming both possible outcomes: 1 she kills her target avenging her partners death. 2 she gets what she deserves for not being a good partner, death.

It's so strange that Megatron can just forge a weapon of equivalence to the star saber; even stranger that it was done in one episode

So it looks like megatron was holding the sword with dreadwings arm! Is that how mega uses an autobot relic meaning dreadwing was once an autobot?

Yes, because as we all know, Dreadwing has a red arm.

With Megatron and Dreadwing opening up a coffin on Cybertron in the one promo, I think that pretty much cements it as a dead Prime Megatron gets the arm from.

Never let any autobot team up with Arcee.

It has to be an Omega Key. A groundbridge opened up behind Arcee so I doubt she is going to be left with the relic.

I'm starting to wonder if Smoke's has an indestructable spark or something that keeps him from dying. He came back online while on a Con ship and he obviously doesn't die in this episode even after taking a direct hit from a sword that is as powerful as the Star Saber. Maybe he's caring a relic that does the trick for him?

I bet this is where we get more info on his somewhat hazy past.

And then suddenly optimus wearing jetfire as a jetpack swoops down and pulls megatron to the top of the pyramid then shoots him in the face and dropkicks him down the pyramid

I wonder if the two swords will end up being destroyed. I don't see Prime using the Star Saber unless they need it and as long as Meg's has his there's a need for it.

Why is it so strange? I thought it was already established that the Forge allows the user to craft anything he/she wants.

I saw Megatron's "Darkest Hour" comment was more towards him having to do what he didn't want to do, which is to defile his inspiration's body, Megatronus' body, to return balance or tip the scales back in his favor.

Same here. I'm still hoping he defects. I'm sure he'll realize sooner or later he doesn't belong with the Cons.

Dreadwing is one of the more noble characters. Even though he killed SeaFoam he didn't like torture the Wrecker like SS seems to like to do. We could see some major emotional conflict with him if he changes sides; pondering every dark deed he has ever done in the name of Megatron and the Decepticons, potentially regretting every kill he has made, wondering if he will ever find his place in the world, etc. It would make the series so AWESOME if he would just drop the Cons already.
