Huh. This seems to suggest Silas genuinely wants to become a Con, and not as part of a MECH plot.
I feel like this episode is going to cause alot of controversy....like every other episode. I don't think Silas is going to use Breakdown's entire body. He will probably just have bits and pieces on various parts of his body.

Hahahaha You're now not the only one!

Oboy, cyborg.

Glad it's not one of the kids.
SPLIT LIP
Sounds like Silas goes a little loopy.

I dunno, I've always hated Silas as a character, but if he's going through a character alteration that could change depending on if he gets more or less annoyingly pretentious.

The description's as tired of his contrived existence as I am.
SkyHook
Silas is back? *twirls finger*

It totally is. Either that, or it wanted to be as aggrivatingly wordy as possible.
Thenames9
I hope he becomes the Azula of the show. Maybe he can make things more interesting.
prfctcellrulz
Shockwave and I both deem this highly illogical.

I think Silas has gone coo coo. If not, it's a plan for him to get aboard the Nemesis and start stealing some tech and trying to figure out how to take out all Transformers and such.
WTDylio
I wonder if the power will get to his head and he'll abandon MECH entirely, that could make things interesting
onionna
Maybe part of his mind is BD's? That's why he having such a life changing way of behavior? Sounds stupid, but could happen.
Stygimoloch
Am I the only one thinking that this is a really good way to introduce the Stunticons? Just a thought.

Excited for this ep. Silas is a pretty cool villain, and it'll be cool to see him go crazy.
onionna
I just want to see Knockout's expression. That would make me love this series FOREVER.
RedAlert Rescue
He's patched into Breakdown's central nervous system so there could be some bleed - if he's all friendly to Knockout that might be a clue.

Bringing Breakdown back from beyond the dead and maybe making him faction swap might be a terrific plot point - there's a great many ways to play it all of which have some merit.

I have not heard anything of 'true' Breakdown coming back though so I'd say for the time being he's just a exo-suit for Silas/Sirus.

Hopefully the show will pep up a bit with new Characters and situation and we can get away from all this Macguffin stuff being the only focus quite so often.

I have a feeling that this will end badly for Silas again....

This was what I was thinking as well.

The question remains, will silas be in his new breakdown body? (Or something different?)
Autovolt 127
Well atleast they didn't leave this subplot behind like Synth-En.

I can't wait to see how he uses Breakdown's body.

There's still time to use subplots.

This episode should be.... interesting. I'm curious as to how a full body shot of Silasdown looks.
TFW10
I'm not crazy about Silas but I don't think he'll last that long physically or mentally.

He'll just serve his purpose and will get the boot.

I think that actually works with a hidden thread from "convoy" where Optimus Prime compares Mechs motives of conquest through bleeding edge technology as a parallel to the Decepticon Initiative in the war for cybertron.

Cybertronian technology has been Silas's obsession since then. And If he's become mostly a Transformer he probably is weighing the quickest path to takeing all of the Decepticons resources as this ruse. If he still looks like breakdown its possible he can use that and knockout would mistrust breakdowns abnormal behavior.

What could help in the long run is if Breakdown is subconsicously influenceing silas to go to the Decepticons and they have some kind of Mental battle for control that maybe gives Silas a split personality because he's become a living component that is keeping Breakdown Alive being slowly overwritten by a cybertronian mind.
Surge
Please dear GOD let Breakdown's conscience take over. I hate MECH. There, I said it, shoot me.

I'd love for Breakdown's personality to reboot....It gives us one last chance at redemption...(for the writers).

"can i join you maybe?"

"There's no possible way this can go wrong!" - Silas
Shatterpoint
I bet he realizes he needs energon to survive, so he goes to join up with the Decepticons because MECH doesn't know how to find or mine it.

And then he comes across the Synth-En sample...
Ribieconvoy
I'm hoping that Breakdown's mind is what's subconsciously making Silas want to join the Cons. If this indeed is what's going on and Breakdown's mind is influencing Silas's, Silas needs to become deathly afraid of spiders, if you get my drift.

Yes they do. I'm not real sure to what extent, but in Operation Bumblebee Starscream showed them all that stuff.

baggzey, I present to thee, THE INTERNET. Because you have won it.
Prime Jetscream
Sounds like the first truly interesting episode this season, except maybe for New Recruit.
soundwaverulls
As much as I think Breakdown's death and the lack of his lot advancing before hand is very bad, I hope his conscious doesn't effect Silas. I like cold, disconnected villains. Especially when they actually get things done. And so far, Silas has been the only villain who seems to get things done. While him having a split personality would be interesting, it would ruin Silas's plotting capabilities.
CodeXCDM
Thing is... after hearing that Miko fired the missiles that killed Hardshell... Megatron *might* just be intrigued by the proposition.

Alternatively... it's possibly Silas is sitting inside Breakdown's now revived corpse, and wants to serve as a plant such that he can steal tech.

I think the latter would be more interesting since it'd require Breakdown's mind to be well... back online. How else would the 'Cons think BD's back? Course, he'd obviously know someone else is pulling the strings... and it'd drive poor Breakdown mad I'm sure. Would make for good TV I'd say. Live up to his name and whatnot... heh
Tman978
I think Megatron will accept. The way he looked when he found out a human killed Hardshell made me know he had a human idea
Stepper
Can't wait for Silas to be in the show.
Autobot Burnout
If this ends with Breakdown fully resurrected in some way, then the entire plot line involving his death would have just been one large, contrived story just to explain how he comes back from an extremely cheap death.
onionna
I bet Megatron will give Silas a chance to prove himself, and that is only because Megatron is starting to realize the potential humans have. Or not.
Stepper
At last, human is given a chance to prove they are superior too

I definitely think he will give Silasdown the chance. The look on his face when he found out Miko was the one to take out Hardshell was one of surprise/shock. It was dawning on him the humans can be a threat and may have more use than he previously thought.

Poor Megatron. Always underestimating things.
onionna
With the way they put Silas's new outlook on life I hope he doesn't make this big, BW Silverbolt speech fashion about how he wants to join the Cons.

Here's a thought - what if it IS a MECH plot? And that plot is that Silas sees how powerful the Decepticons are, and decides to join them so that he can execute Megatron and take over the Decepticons himself, making them part of MECH and using them to enact their real goals?

Now that would be seriously interesting. They are both off-their-rocker power crazed leaders with huge followings. I wonder who would win.
