I think that the show's writers are really listening to the fans. We wanted a new Autobot, now they've even emphasized it as the official episode title.

Anyway, this sounds like a boring episode. I expect that if Starscream still has his over glorified fat suit, the Autobots will use the Red Energon to defeat him. How many forms of Energon do we have now?

Hoping it's not a repaint, or Wheeljack, but a genuine new character. Hell, who am I kidding, at this point, I would welcome a repaint of Cliffjumper so they don't waste the model.

It doesn't mention any of the other Autobots, Decepticons or kids by name, either, so obviously they must be dead too. I mean, that's the only possible answer. It's not that the plot's not about them and that there would be no reason to mention them in the one-line synopsis of the episode, it's that they MUST be dead.

The taglines don't mention Megatron, Knock Out, Soundwave, Starscream, the Vehicons, Dreadwing, Hardshell, the Insecticons, Optimus Prime, Bulkhead, Wheeljack, Bumblebee, Arcee, Ratchet, Jack, June, Miko, Raf, Sierra, or anyone else for that matter. It means nothing.

Don't jump to bash the writers just because a character is not mentioned, based on an unfounded theory that a character who may or may not show up in an episode that's not even airing for two weeks might not survive it.

Seriously, wait for the episodes to air before writing them off.

In the TFCC Timelines comics, Rarified Energon, guarded over by Breakaway. Mentioned elsewhere too, though I think that would be the first time it was named.

Transformers Energon had four varieties though: "Raw" Energon (yellow, hazardous to Cybertronian life except those specially adapted to mining it), "Red" (Autobot) Energon, hazardous to lifeforms infused with Unicron cells (only way I can explain why in the early episodes Demolishor was not affected!), "Green" (Decepticon) Energon, hazardous to non-Decepticons and even then it still burned Megatron's hand that one time. Also the blue "Super" Energon which came into the series late, though it might be considered the same as the rarified Energon.

It wasn't as big a deal back then because it was all the same Energon, just different colours and some colours hurt one faction but not the other.

Eh, I'd rather they do a better job developing the characters they already have, rather than add someone else to the cast. But since most people in the fandom seem to be more concerned with quantity of characters then quality, I'm sure everyone will be pretty happy with this.

I thought it was stated that Iron Hide would never be in Transformers Prime.
