what's cliffjumper looking at in the arcee picture?

Damn. Even more evidence to support this being a flashback episode. I can't really be too sad. I've been wanting one of those for a while. I just hope Shockwave at least turns up in season three when the Dinobots arrive.

And I think Shockwave's design is growing on me more. I don't know why but I wasn't fond of it when I first saw it. I didn't hate it, it just doesn't stand up to DOTM and WFC's designs for him.

They never said the Dinobots would be in season 3. They're in the comic that takes place between seasons 2 and 3 and will probably lead into having Shockwave on Earth in season 3, not the Dinobots.

So Arcee goes up to Cliffjumper's grave, Miko follows and they take about stuff and flashback

Huh, Arcee and Cliff are in restraints, so captives of the cons in the flashback(no cookies for anyone who didn't already kinda figure that was going to happen one way or another)- She looks ticked as always but he looks kinda... surprised or confused about what she's saying, or maybe he's just listening intently and that's his thinking face

Shockwave looks kinda, rendered differently from the rest of the cast- but the Vehicon behind him looks a little odd too, so maybe its supposed to be the lighting.

And even though I know the pic of Arcee and Miko is probably story time on top of the canyon, all I could think is "But she said she wasn't going to leave his side!" and "Don't jump Miko he might still recover!" I know they could be down below, but really where else do those guys go in the desert for serious chats?

C'mon guys, it was already so so soooo obvious it was a Flashback, I mean:

Interested in seeing how Arcee and Cliffjumper get captured by Decepticons, judging by the cuffs they're wearing.

I guess it's a retelling of the Transformers Prime prequel comic. Except with Shockwave.

The writers confirmed that Dinobots would be seen in Season 3 if not towards the end of Season 2.

Hey, I just noticed something interesting-- Cliffjumper's shoulder kibble in the promo shot looks different from how it did in the pilot. Maybe he'll get a Cybertronian mode after all? Granted, it's a small difference, but it's still something.

Hope there are a few Arcee/Miko moments, the two have hardly interacted with each other through the series.

And worse yet, pretty much everything Arcee's said to her was some kind of dismissive remark. It'll be nice to see them interact in a somewhat more friendly fashion.

The Arcee-Miko picture kinda confirms that this is a flashback episode. However, even if it is, I still think that Shockwave will return in current times.

Considering that he's the main villain of the "Rage of the Dinobots" tie-in and is meant to show up in Season 3, I think it's pretty much assured that we'll be seeing him again.

They're gonna drag this Bulkhead thing out like a bad season of General Hospital. Maybe he'll come back with a cyber-goatee as an evil twin.

I can't remember, does this mean they asked Dwayne to come back to voice CJ? Or are we getting a stand in? Because it's not really CJ without the Peoples Voicebox. Flashback episodes are fun kids!

Also, that on screen model of Shocky is going to sell so many more FOC Shockwaves, it's not even laughable. Glad I managed to find one. Now, if he transformed into a giant gun and capped Bumblebee, I'd be even happier.

That's because if they did, we'd have so many shipping fanfics it would look like Brazzers 2.0.

Idea. What if this episode is to introduce us to Shockwave and they leave us with a Shockwave cliff hanger at the end of it?

What's the source? I thought that when the IDW Dinobots series was announced, they said it didn't necessarily mean they were in season 3.

I'm betting on Shockwave being in this flashback to set him up returning in season 3, after he appears in the Dinobots comic.

Don't forget Gregg Berger is voicing a character in the show. That, along with the comic, indicates the Dinobots appearing soon. Or at least Grimlock.

Okay... I missed this news too. I thought he was just voicing Grimlock in the game. Where is all of this mysterious news?

The Shockwave deisgn still doesn't impress me and is still meh at best compared to his previous incarnations.

But it might grow on me...

Still not a fan of Shockwave's chest, but the design is definitely growing on me. (Should've known better than to judge it on a poor quality image in the first place, Tyler). Seeing a lot more DotM/TFP in there than I did previously; with the spiky knees, massive arm cannon and hose, more organic arms, etc..

After staring at the picture of Shockwave for a few minutes, trying to figure out why I dislike his design, I think I've finally figured out why I personally don't like it.

I think his chest looks too flat. Usually there's a giant chest on a small abdomen. Here there's a torso that melds into one piece with the very front of the classic chest stuck on the top of it.

However, the new design is slowly growing on me.

Screw Miko, I'm ALL OVER the picture of Shockwave. Not worried about the Days of our lives female bonding nonsense. Bring on the REAL transformer stuff. SHOCKWAVE

Actually, you're right, never mind-- I double checked, and it just looks different because his shoulder is angled inward. What's visible in the promo shot is apparently the side of his shoulder, not the front.

I looked at those pictures for a few minutes and I didn't notice any differences. What exactly are you referring to?

You know the flat, angled plates at the front and back of his shoulders? They look kinda like the ones on Breakdown's shoulders. Since his arms are turned inward in the picture, it instead shows us the sides, which look different. I mistook the side for the front.

Also, I can neither confirm or deny that I received an erection upon noticing that Shockwave's body is covered in glowing lines/widgets/dots like the WFC/FOC designs.
