It's a clip show!

It's actually a series of finely tripped snippets of past episodes placed alongside light commentary by a side character.

With a side of scallops.

It be better served as a flashback episode explaining why the 'bots work for the government in the first place.

They should have really saved the clip-show episode for Prime's final season, if they had one at all. HOWEVER, I'm sure it opened up a lot of time for them to animate new episodes, so I'm okay with this.

It looks like alot of flashbacks are going to be in this episode.

Guess if Fowler is getting 'grilled' then of course, some of the past clips would have to come in play as he explains what was done and who did it. They could have left out the NEeeevvverrrrrrrrr! tho.

Optimus Prime's demise? So do they think Nemesis's body was him?

That's what I'm assuming.

It probably will explain a lot of the governments involvement and fill in some of how it all started here on Earth gaps, I think it will be good.

I still cringe a bit from that scene. If they're going to flashback stuff, why that dammit

Clip show huh? I understand why it's being done, but hopefully there will at least be some good dialogue to lead from scene to scene.

Well goddammit. Animated or Beast Wars didn't need a clip show. Why now?

At least they've creatively shown some few Fowler moments in there, given that he's the center for the upcoming episode. We'll just have to wait for the episode clip.

This is gonna be good.

A clip-show, is an episode looking back on past episodes through clips. And from what we can see, There will be new footage but mostly just clips from previous eps.

For all we know, them making one of the 26 episodes a clip show might have freed up the budget enough to create a few more character models.

Ya know, I'm not surprised there is one. And just now finally getting one almost halfway thru the second season really isn't that bad (some shows have had like one or even two each season). Clips shows aren't always bad, sometimes they point out something I might've missed, and hearing Fowler's commentary will just make it worth while to me, heh.

I'm betting it's 50/50 clip show and origin story. I'm cool with that.

I'm surprises almost nobody is talking about the "demise of Optimus Prime" line. Anyway, I think "demise" was a weird way of saying Prime going crazy.

Anyway, this looks horrible. I'm starting to have hopes for Armada and Flying Minds but not this. This is just a clip show. Unless they call in all Autobots to get sent away at one point. That could mean Rescue Bots show up to be sent away too. But I doubt it. I shall definitely need spoilers to be convinced to watch this one.

The government probably believes that Nemesis Prime is Optimus and that he died in the fall.

Me thinks I shall be skipping this episode. And OMG Miko was the most annoying I've ever seen her with that "NEVEEEEEEER" scream. Ugh. >.<

For a second I thought that was just a clip of her yelling at Megatron in 'One Will Rise' part 2.

Who knows it might be ok, but now unfortunately I'm remembering all of the terrible clips shows The Simpsons had.

The Prime writers are comedic geniuses.

Maybe it won't be such a bad thing? Maybe they will use it to fill in some story stuff?

Who knows. It could be a good clip show, if it's done right. I'm looking forward to it.

Looks like it will shed light on the basis of the government's relationship with the Autobots with Fowler using their past exploits to try and clear Optimus' name...

...hope he fails, and the Bots have to go on the run.

Do we know for certain it's a straight clip show? They could be mixing in some new things with the old stuff.

I've found clip shows can run the range of being extremely lackluster... Or being extremely informative. There's a lot of unknown background information about the history of the Transformers on Earth, which could very easily be explored in this episode. I'm hoping that's the kind of episode we'll get, and not one of those "I remember the time that this happened..." and they show a clip. (But those usually come packaged with the 'character gets amnesia' plotline.)

While I am trying to be hopeful about this next episode being informative about the hows and whys of the Bots being on earth, it's very possible this will just be a recap clip show with some *hopefully* cool Fowler Moments. It'd be a great way to showcase just how much his attitudes towards the Bots has changed since the first several episodes.
