Planning a trip to Universal Studios Hollywood to get your hands on the exclusive deluxe Evac toy and ride Transformers: The Ride? While you're there, you can get your hands on the new Transformers Prime Cyberverse vehicles! In the gift shop currently are Knockout with Energon Driller and Wheeljack with Starhammer. Both sets are priced $36.95 in the gift shop. This marks the first time the two sets have been available for purchase at a retail store in the states. There have been no traditional sightings of these two sets yet, but this is a good indication that we should be seeing them soon.

Very nice, I'd image lots of us are hoping they'll be at retail sooner than later.

These things are not out yet in North America? They should be soon if things happen as usual. I was expecting they'd be out there already as the Wheeljack playset has been out here for a few weeks at least, and the Knock Out set at least a week. Seems slow for the N.America release this time.

Well, if I remember correctly, Asia and the UK got the first wave of Deluxes and Voyagers about two weeks before we did. That seems to be the norm for this line.

Can't wait to add these to my collection

Is it $36.95 for both sets? If so, isn't that a better deal than MSRP at your local store as I thought they were going to be $19.99 each

The article says "Both are priced at $36.95," my understanding is that it's $36.95 each. Let's face it, if Toys R Us is hiking up prices beyond recognition (mine is charging something insane like $18 for a DELUXE), there's no way the Universal store is going to offer bargains. Plus I think I remember reading that the pricing on the "exclusive" (read: repackaged DOTM figures and one new figure) was even more expensive than TRU, like $20+ for a Deluxe.

That $36 price tag is bound to be the TRU cost as well, which I wouldn't mind so much is the assortments at TRU were bad. If they got the newest waves in earlier than most, I would happily pay a little extra.

Okay, not going to turn this into a pricing debate ^^"
I'm a huge fan of Cyberverse and what it does for the toyline, and I love ships, so these two will be most welcomes in my side of the country. Just 4 weeks to wait.

As are these cyberverse vehicles. I've only seen the starhammer so far but I haven't been looking in shops much lately. From what I've heard the drillers are out too.

I totally saw those when I went there on Friday. Totally surprised me! I have it in my review of the ride coming up tomorrow or Tuesday on my channel.
payres
I was starting to wonder if these were coming to N America: neither BBTS or Entertainment Earth have pre orders for them up which made me a little worried

(I was checking to find the case assortment)

While we're waiting and waiting and waiting, we'll come to find that retailers "cancelled" the orders on them and that's why thy turned up at Universal unannounced instead of at retail.

Target has had their resets done for a few weeks now with the shelf spot there for the Cyberverse voyager sets but so far nothing has shown up. It's odd because I've never known anything to take this long to come in before after the reset has been done.

Hasbro just continues to get more and more weird. There really seems to be "more than meets they eye" going on with that company. I don't know what it is, but I know it's not good for us.

Actually the TFP RID they had there were going for 24.95 which is almost twice that of retail, and they're DOTM Voyager/Deluxe was higher than retail. That's the reason I decided not to pick these up there and wait for them to hit more local retail.

That would suck if they cancelled them, I was thinking that retail is just being slow right...

They are in fact $36.95 each. I think this was reported a week ago. Also the Evac's are sold out now.

What is more scary though is that if these were supposed to be out already and are getting pushed back so far, then you just know something down the line is going to get the ax. Question is what.
