Clip starts 4 minutes in.

Bulkhead is badass.

Questionable scale in the scene though.

Respect for these guys just quadrupled and that was the best footage I've seen so far, win win.

And btw, this video was very fun to watch, I'm glad to see Roberto orci and Kurtzman again.
I'm Transformers Prime will be more successful.
Digilaut
Haha, funny!
shroobmaster
That was the best video ever.

Oh yeah the Bulkhead part was cool too.
tf_4_lyf
lol i think that news tiltle fits much better. Thanks guys!!

I loved the 'save that for the movies, this actually needs to be good' bit.
Ra88
Loved Kurtzman and Orci spoofing the movies and themselves, and the clip at the end was awesome. Didn't expect something that brutal. The animation was very...Jerky though. Could have been way better.
ronin0510
Man that actually got me more excited for the sneak peak!!

It's funny until you realise 'hang on - these dimwits really DID write that crap into the movie screenplays!!!!'

Am I the only one who thinks Miko sounds wrong? Bulkhead was cool. Wonder if he will be like this all the time or be childish when not in battle? And woah was that Bumblebee or Arcee talking near the end!?
megatroptimus
The animation is underwhelming to say the least... The robots look lifeless, as if they were out of a video game...
GAUGE
Looks interesting but, I won't be seeing it at all since I don't have cable, nor do I know anybody who has the premium channels. (which is what you need if you want to even see the HUB)

This is gonna be a sad time for many a Transformers Fan.

No Hub, plus no Prime toys for probably a year or so = Money saved.

Well, I guess all is well then.
The Swordsman
Wowzers, Bulkhead is awesome! I'm so excited (yeah, yeah, and I just can't hide it!...sorry, couldn't resist) for Prime, although it's a shame that The Hub is only on cable and not sattelite. Ah well, there's always leaks on Youtube.
transformerwars
I absolutely loved that! Bulkheads voice fits him so well, and he is so bad ass! I honestly cannot wait for Prime, my feelings for this show have changed drastically since the first previews were shown. I cant wait to see some toys too!
Black Oracle
That was a fun little look behind the scenes. Orci & Kurtzman have a sense of humour!

Nice Bulkhead clip. Punching a hole through an opponent's chest and progressively pulling their innards out? He's definitely toughened up from TFA. I doubt he'll be as clumsy as his previous incarnation. And Miko definitely seems like the type to get herself into a lot of trouble. Her voice has a tomboy-ish quality to it i think.

Looks friggin amazing, can't wait till tomorrow!
MTME
was that Soundwave getting killed?

No just a drone (can't remember what they're called).

I noticed the design for a white car transformer next to the Cliffjumper design in the beginning of the vid, Jazz maybe ?

That was hilarious!

I was like "Holy crap! THIS IS A KIDS' SHOW??" at the clip at the end. It was awesome.
Feralstorm
I liked "HOLD HIM STILL! - *bonk*"
dragon
still not liking bot desings they look very basic as some fan made this cant ill say this since i never cared about this in movies or tv shows but writing & voice acting is good i mostly watch movies or tv shows to be entertained but these bots they look more basic than animted series that was cancealed this looks like they designed bots added few lines here there on there bodies to make them look like robots & mcahines im not crazy about.

if theres toys made of these ill pass on them unless they better than they do appera in the show itself im more excited for gijoe after seing this sorry

Whoa! This is gonna be wild!

Im so happy big bulky is in TFPrime.
Tiller
I don't know how they're going to get away with this stuff in a kids show. And I don't care.

But honestly it shows these guys have a massive sense of humor. Hub channel woes, "no no no this actually has to be good!" line from the movies, the whole toy thing at the beginning and end. I lol'd and was impressed. The CGI may not be top notch in terms of eye candy, but the animation and camera work is.
cryotek
OMG!!! That woman didnt wash her hands.

Thanks for being the one to say it so I'm not seen as some 'lone hater' or whatever.

They do have a pretty insane deadline to work with, and Japan really isn't known for doing CG outside of maybe 10-15 minutes of CG animation cut-scenes per video game. Hopefully the Japanese animators get their act together by the third season. If not, they've got any and all criticism coming to them.

^One general rule I know about animation and film making in general. You can get away with ALOT more when the character is a machine/robot.
MenasorMaster
the transformers are oversized. I mean the wheels of those eradicons seem to be as big as miko. actually i am impressed of the eradicons strenhght, they are very thin compared to bulkhead and they are just drones, but still they are pretty strong. wonder how fit for action the real decepticons will be.

What exactly does that have to do with what I said?
SPLIT LIP
Oh man that was funny. The actual clip... I will be 100% honest, it didn't blow me away. The CGI just looks like it's not properly rendered or something there.

Miko was fucking hilarious, though. "Hold him still!" *tink*

Especially after the critically-acclaimed Star Trek and their own criticism of working with Bay, it's highly probable that much of the problems with ROTF was down to Bay and his hangers on and the extremely short time Orci and Kurtzman had to churn out a treatment rather than them simply being bad writers.

Which is probably true.
Digilaut
I've been saying it ever since the first movie. It's that writers get all the flak but never the credit when writing movies..directors, producers, shareholders all have their hands in the honeyjar and sometimes come up with outrageous demands.

That doesn't mean that *some* of the bad stuff didn't come from them, but I've always said they'd definitely perform better when not having to deal with people like Michael Bay (no offence to him). Star Trek proved that - a somewhat similar 'nerd' franchise that had decent enough writing that oozed with love for the franchise. Fringe sort of proved it, too.

I'm having the feeling they just didn't feel like returning or TF3 and get blamed for all the things they were forced to write..on a tv show like this they will have alot more freedom - and now their roles are bigger as well.

For example, you can blame them for writing characters like Skids & Mudflap...but they didn't. They wrote Sideswipe and Sunstreaker into the movie. Then Bay liked the idea of twins and took it to town...

About the actual TFP footage: it does look kind of stale. And the bots are really oversized -something I don't really like. But those couple of lines alone gives me hope. A good drama/characterization moment when Bulkhead tells Miko to look away, because he's about to kill a person by ripping his insides out..luckily it's a robot, and that just doesn't have the same effect on humans as ripping apart human beings would. That's why they can get away with alot more.
SPLIT LIP
I just think that they're just too different. Bay would work better with Writers suited better for his kinds of movies, and Orci/Kurtzman woud write better for a director that was more in line with their style.
Enigma2K2
That... actually looks good!
