Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Deluxe Class Ripclaw

Holy packaging errors Batman! Thanks to an error-packaged Beast Hunters Soundwave picked up at retail by 2005 Boards member Yobuster, we have confirmation of our third Predacon in the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters mainline! Ripclaw, a character previously featured as a Kre-O building set release, will also be getting a Deluxe Class toy as a part of what is assumed to be Beast Hunters Deluxe Wave 2. Ripclaw features a pretty nifty looking dragon mode, and in robot mode, she features a pretty awesome battle claw on her right arm. Yes, you read that right - Ripclaw's bio, shown on this cardback, also confirms she will be a female Predacon villain for the Autobots to fight.

Hey that's the character from Rage of the Dinobots with a different color scheme for some reasons. And she's a femme? Interesting I thought Ripclaw was a male in the comic.

EDIT: Never mind the character that's in the comic is Ser-Ket. Although she does look a lot like him. Maybe she's his twin sister?

Ripclaw looks great! At least from the pics a lot better looking than Laserback. That's a pretty cool error there. Looking forward to wave 2 now.

Well I'll be damned! That's a pretty amazing factory error. Ripclaw is looking really good. Looks a ton like ser-ket from ROTD. Wonder if she's a repaint of him? Either way, pretty stinking cool we've got a fembot predacon. I dig it!

Ripclaw looks like a halfway decent figure too, I'm curious to see who her wave-mates are.

Hey, that's a character (model) used in Rage of the Dinobots! Yay.

I have to say, these beasts actually look pretty cool. Way cooler than the spikey Autobots, who are just the same figures but with added stuff.

These are great news for people who love Beastformers. Not sure if I will ever pick any up, but if I would, I could see myself just go for the beasts and not the Bots & Cons.

Just to answer a few questions of fellow boardies:
- no i haven't opened Soundwave up yet, the inset sheet is the Soundwave sheet, the cross-sells at the bottom are just the wave1 cross-sells.

- Yes Ripclaw is #6 in the set.

Not that I am complaining, I would love a Predacon team of just dragons! So far we are up to 3!

huh, so Far Beast Hunters has not been that impressive to me personally.
Guess I'll just bypass the majority of this line for the time being, just as well, I've repainted too many wheeljacks for my Con shelf to have much more space.

Funny that Ser-Ket borrows a character model from a toy (show?) character without being her. Making you wonder if he's going to escape his comic series alive. Grimlock isn't a merciful sort.
