I definitely haven't seen that before. At least it's another look at RiD Bulkhead. And ahaha "the heavy." This show keeps reminding me of TF2.

I love how they put that shot of Ratchet at the end.

This totally has the worst Bulkhead and Ratchet impressions ever.

Bulkhead the Heavy?????? I guess he likes Sandviches.

And now I'm expecting Bumblebee the Scout to use a baseball bat in a future episode.

Or maybe he goes *bonk* and *boink* instead of *beep* and *boop*.

This commercial pretty much cements my (negative) feelings for these figures. As opposed to the Japanese commercial that actually made me want to buy all of them (except for Bulkhead).

I watched it this morning when I was watching Beyblade: Metal Masters.

Hearing the Scout's voice come out of Bumblebee would completely legitimize the character.

Yup, saw it last night during Clone Wars as well. I love Ratchet's scene at the end but really shake my head at his dubbed voice over. Why did they change out Jeffrey Combs there? Was his HOO-AH not good enough or something?

I've seen this twice today on DC Nation, Looks like CN is airing it on each program block, so if you want to see it on TV odds are, you just need to watch one show.

At least it's not just kids playing with toys.....and at least these were transformed by INTELLEGENT monkeys.

Heh. You can see how inaccurate the toys are to the show models, plus the voice change, plus it's not TakaraTomy's level of badassery. Hasbro can't make a good commercial or ad for these things, to save their lives.

Those voiceovers are laughable. But at least these toys have... NEW ATTITUDE!

I'm sorry Hasbro, this stunk. Come on, where is the effort.
Toys are meant to be played with, show it.

why wouldn't hasbro do stop motion in their commercials? its not like its very costly.

Now that I see RID Bulkhead's chest transformed correctly I may pick up the Hasbro RID version as I have the Takara FE version of him already.

Okay, it's official: The "one shall stand, one shall fall" shtick has gotten stale.

And the longer commercial sucks.

And they had to dub over the actual voice actors why?

Voice actors may have only signed for episodes of the show and related commercials only. May not for any toy commercials. Can't take the original voices for toy commercials if it is signed that way. It's a common practice nowadays.

Kids don't use the size classifications and if you're going to be that picky, the bumblebee they showed isn't a scout, and you could argue you expected to pay less for him.

To those of you who stand around (metaphorically speaking) in this thread polishing each others knobs while you bash on all things Prime... get a danged life already. Constructive criticism make sense because it actually provides something we rarely see around here, but just saying "this sucks" or "Hasblow blew it again" is just dumb.

Could the commercial have been better? Possibly show actual children playing with the toys, transforming them, and engaged in play like the fondly remembered 80's commercials of our youth. Otherwise... I didn't think it was too bad for what it was.
