Leo Prime's minicon looks different than Arcee's, the blade is definitely different.

Love the look of Wildrider's minicon. Wildrider's deco is an...odd choice, but I like G2 Breakdown's deco so whatever.

Thundertron/Leo Prime getting Arc as a minicon instead of its own is a little disappointing. I was hoping they'd break the habit of Autobots getting minicon partners with normal 'bot modes and give him a lion minicon (a la Steeljaw?). Oh well. Looks like I'll be getting this and the US Thundertron release.

Blue has the same head as he does in the American version. Red has the new head looks like. All nice figures though, wonder if we will get Motormaster or Dragstrip.

Wild Rider looks gray to me. It's a light, almost bluish gray, but still.

Sweet! Wildrider looks awesome. Now we need a Motormaster and Drag Strip just for the hell of it.

Leo Prime (ok, really, what is he supposed to be called in Japan?) is clearly meant to be a different character than Thundertron. That justifies keeping the preorder for both.

Rumble and Frenzy.... I kinda wish Tomy had kept the blue one Rumble because this isn't G1. They don't need to play that game for TF Prime. For people like me who prefer to use the names on the packaging, me having the US Rumble and JPN red one will leave me with two toys officially named Rumble. Ugh.

Maybe I'll get both Japanese ones for my Prime shelf and use the awesome reprolabels set on my US one and put him elsewhere... Yes this is my own problem because of my insistence of using the toy names...

Does Shockwave only have his ARMS Micron weapon or his regular was well? Because I have him on pre-order but I'm not sure if I like this. Need better pictures...

Yup Takara is sticking to US names from now on unless it's a Masterpiece or Encore it seems. The one exception I've seen is Stepper, which I prefer to Ricochet (especially since there is another guy in G1 called that).

They're staying consistent with what their fans know and they don't want to make things backwards for them like Hasbro is doing for half their fans.

With how different Hasbro's Rumble is to Takara's Frenzy (totally different color scheme - Takara's is more G1 & the different heads) it would be very easy to think of these guys as two different characters entirely.

Wildrider looks great. His deco is odd but still boss (I don't even mind that he's just a redeco of Wheeljack since I love the mold). Wish we could see a close up shot of the head. I already shuffled Universe Dragstrip from my Classics display into my TFP display (he looks good next to AM Breakdown and RiD Dead End), but I wouldn't mind an RiD/AM Dragstrip. Ditto with Motormaster (though I suppose a black Nemesis Prime repaint will do in a pinch; just give him the purple/chrome Dr. Wu Prima sword and there you go XD).

Frumble look good though the lack of their stock black piledrivers that came with Hasbro Rumble is worrisome. I suppose folks can just buy an extra one for the piledrivers (in case the AMs don't come with any), though I wouldn't be surprised if we saw returns and RiD Rumbles hanging on pegs with his piledrivers missing.

Leo Convoy Ripermaru (I was wondering who or what this figure was on the BBTS preorder) looks decent deco-wise, though I wonder if he has a different head from Powerizer Thundertron.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand Rumble is preordered. He's like a mini-Alternators Rumble! I've heard such good things about the mold but I hate the US's colors (it's not a RIRFIB thing, it's a "teal, neon yellow, and clash horribly" thing).

And I love the Minicon. He's a freaking Octopus. Love it.

I am, however, genuinely curious as to whether or not TF Source will still sell Rumble as the blue one like they did with MPs.

Man, I'm really digging the AM weapons for Shockwave (it's like a stag or rhino beetle), Wildrider (very cool in both modes), and UM (hammer AMs are just neat; just look at AM Breakdown's rhinohammer).

The Frumble twins' AMs look decent but I'm not digging the color they chose for the plastic. I suppose if one was to get both AM Frumble figs, along with the RiD Hasbro Rumble, you can double up the AMs on one fig and have the other with stock black piledrivers. The 3rd/odd-man out could probably be relegated to alt mode duty (possibly with Reprolabel's nice tuner stickers).

Man, now I really wish the US release of Rumble was red so I could get US Rumble, AM Rumble, and AM Frenzy and repurpose one of the red ones as Enemy.

sweet! Rumble is Red! so I can cancel my Frenzy pre-order. and oh sweet Mama is that Wildrider sexy!!! Seriously, between repaints, remolds, and customs 1/2 my prime Decepticon shelf is literally gonna be Wheeljack molds! I can't wait to see what TFCC uses that mold for some day in the future.

Hint: Everything.

Given that Takara/Hasbro/Radicons has already proven the INFINITE capacity of this mold....I'm ok with that.

So I guess Shockwave is exactly the same as the FoC Shockwave, but with an AM? Guess he won't be worth it.

I'll have to keep Rumble and Frenzy's Micron away from my Tako Tank in case they decide to go joy riding in it in the middle of the night !

I'm a little shocked they went with such a banal deco for Rumble and Frenzy's vehicle modes - I was half expecting them to have a mad sticker on the side. but props to them for painting the wheels. - I still think I'll paint my Western Rumble's wheels yellow though - as I like the balance It offers to his yellow paint and that it make him look like he could go racing with Knockout too. and not just like a family hatch back.

I like the shade of red that is just the colour I was hopping for and the blue is OK too - I may just consider the Hasbro blue one to be 'Enemy' instead and be done with it. It is a little odd that neither have any new hex ports at the moment though.

Wildrider looks nice his new head is pretty decent - I would however personally not use the giant Decepticon logo on him and i'd paint his chest deco to match the windows on the car and I don't think I'd go with pink on the headlamps - I'd look at him in comparison to all the other moulds and then decide - he looks like he'd make a great trio with not-slicer and Dead end though.

It's curious that he lacks the hex-ports on the front wheel arches that AM Wheeljack has and instead has posts on his spoiler - worth getting alone for the fact that he has an elephant-gun.

I might repurpose AM Smokescreen as Decepticon Breakdown too. especially as I can't see there not being a proper toy of the character in 2013.

Lio Prime is quite colorful - Not so sure about the shoulders - but over all "I like". and he should got really nicely with next years toys too.

Magnus looks a little washed out - I'd probably add a little white to him and paint his wheels I like the Micron it's kind of neat - but I'd probably by a 3rd party Solus Forge and give him that too.

Shockwave seems a better colour than the Western one - I'll be interested to see if the micron is easily exchangable with Fireflight and Airraid too - in case they repaint it. The character would be better suited to a Voyager toy though perhaps.

Autobot Weapons : The green sword looks Ideal to give to Dead End The Orange sword and red gun looks like it would match Dark Energon Optimus well. The red B2 I'd proably give to Shadow Strike Bumblebee or Hotshot - I'll be buying two sets of them for sure. and The Ironhide red cannons look like they'd suit him better than the orange one does. and also look good with Swerve.

Decepticon Weapons : I don't have a lot of use for the Gorilla but I suppose it can go with Dark Energon Megatron or be used as Jet boosters in some way. The Scorpion I'd use as X-wing like wing guns on Aerial Transformers. The Bird I'd either give to Thundercracker or Hasbro Starscream or allow the Takara one to duel wield them. The Warthog I'd give to Breakdown as his roof gun. or use them as wing guns on an Aerial Vehicon - The tick like one I'd like to see if it's possible to use as landing skids or just use as melee weapons.

Some of those should complement next years toys well too.

Overall good stuff - I expect we will see Nemesis Prime and Cylas Breakdown soon too.

What's odd about Wild Rider's deco? Looks like Wild Rider to me. Definitely keeping that preorder.

And here I thought I would cancel whichever F/R was blue since I had the Hasbro release. I think I'll keep both since the Arms Micron versions are much better and look good together. I'll just give my kids my Hasbro Rumble.

Aw. Here I was ready to bail, but I think I like the microns enough to buy this whole lot. Wallet-hurt. Anyone want to see me all their microns? LOL.

Don't forget that you can't trust the stores to send you the color you want. Do you go by the pics or the names? What if the person pulling them assumes one color but you ordered the other. I guess the number designations will help.

What's the odds of the Magnus Hammer micron getting an individual release?

I do want that red Rumble and Wildrider. I'll consider Leo Prime and I'm waiting pics of Darkest Megatron and the Jet Vehicon General.

Japan is really getting all the cool stuff nowadays...might import a Leo Prime for my brother, and I really like that Rumble. And Wildrider. Shockwave's Micron is pretty cool, too. Time to ramp up my efforts to win Powerball.

Yeah, I'm curious about Jet Vehicon General too; hopefully he's not simply a silver repaint of the normal Jet Vehicon (I preordered two but may just end up getting only one). And Darkest Megatron I hope turns out to have a more uniform deco than the oddly chromed pieces on Darkness Megatron, maybe with microns that form the Dark Star Saber.
