Transformers Prime Arms Micron Capsule Toys Volume 3 In-Hand Images

The third series of Transformers Prime Arms Micron Gashapon (Capsule Toys) has been released in Japan. The third series includes Ratchet Spanner, Wheeljack Kunai, Starscream Boomerang and two versions of Dobo, the dragonfly machine gun. A nice gallery of in-hand pictures is up on Snakas' Facebook page, Autobase Aichi, showing off the individual Microns and their various features including a pair of new super combo weapons - a spear formed by Ratchet Spanner, Wheeljack Kunai and wave 2's Arcee Blade, and a huge cannon weapon formed by combining one of the Dobo's with the Starscream Boomerang and wave 2's Megatron cannon.

Dobo turns into a machine gun according to the description. Also Ratchet is a spanner, WJ is Kunai (ninja weapon). Satrscream is indeed a boomerang.

This series is the best so far!

Wow. A boomerang. Their kind of reaching for weapon ideas. But it is a starscream. So everyone is going to want one anyway for a Starscream shrine.

I kind of like the wheeljack weapon and the dragonfly should be another cool decepticon animal weapon for the course.

I actually really like the Boomerang idea. It is a new idea, and only something Japan can pull off. You know Hasbro would never release something like that on thier own. Lots of great Microns out there again. I for one am very happy about them!

Question: Can someone tell me what the Turtle from Wave 2 is supposed to turn into? Is it a Sheld?

sigh, another case preorder as soon as it shows up. it's almost like they're tempting me to get the AM version of these characters just so i have them use their own mini-mes as weapons.

Got the solicitation for these today, I'll have them listed sometime this week. The assortment is five pieces, so just like all the previous animal microns, the dragonfly one is going to come in two colors.

November, I believe. Should coincide nicely with the last known wave of Japanese Prime toys.

I use my existing ones as Targetmaster Transectors. If the larger robot needs to get somewhere small or split up, a part of his consciousness resides in the Micron.

It's the only way to make sense of the character microns lol

I love these capsule microns. i got the first series and the second is on pre-order at captured prey, along with a bunch of the arms microns. i really hope hasbro has great sales levels on the blind bagged kreons, so they might see that they could do the same thing with microns in america. c'mon, hasbro! i'm spending 4 to 6 bucks apiece on these, and you get none of it! don't you want my money, baby?

Looking at that Boomerang Starscream I bet that a pair of them would make the cutest little pair of underwing mounted UAV drones for the Arms Micron (Voyager) version.

Looks like the Tonbot/Jetstorm Homage will also double up as a claw weapon.

Oh I finally figured out how to use Google Spell check if the text is hilighted completely the spell check does not work if you just click in the middle of the word it does - heck know what made them change that.. but I'm glad I figured that out as it was dead handy when I had a spelling brain freeze on a word.

Anyway any word on what the new release date is ?

There's rumours that there's solicitations for the UK Microns wave 2 soon... not heard a lot about it but it would be nice if all the wave got a UK release too. if only as it's a cheaper and easier way to get them if you'd like to repaint some.

Jetstorm was one of my absolute favorite Beast Wars Predacons. A great mold. Dobo has to be a homage.

I wonder if it's even possible for Dobo in gun mode to be held by Jetstorm or Tonbot ?

If you bought four of them you could also make an entirely green one and an all red one as well with a bit of parts swapping.

Really liking the look of these guys. Starscream's head looks a little funny but the rest look cool. I really want that Ratchet spanner.

Anyone know when these are going to be released? I heard it was November but now i'm thinking they might have been pushed back to next year.

As Snakas (who took those pics) is Japan based, I'd say they are out now.

i just hope this wave and wave 2 hit the uk. picked up all of wave 1 from toysrus with only 2 bumblebee blades as a double...... but 2 bb blades with his blasters on top...... cool as. makes me want beast hunters bb just to tool him up predator style.
