really liking all the arms microns. wish Hasbro would release them here in the US.
They are not terribly expensive - why not just buy them ? They are much cheaper than the Model kit ones and arguably more interesting. I feel they make good companions for the Hasbro toys as some of them are a little weapon light. or if they do have weapon they are not so great - as with Optimus. I can see Arcee looking quite neat with her Sword for example. And I like that the (forth coming) Ratchet one is a tool rather than a weapon too. They might adopt the idea at Hasbro sometime - but I have a feeling they might invent their own moulds as the Takara ones might be to fragile. and far to cheap for Hasbro to charge the sort of price they'd try to sell them for. Which suggests they'd either throw the ones that exist already in some giftsets as little bonus or make whole new designs of their own.
Nope, either the 5mm pegs are mounted on a "T" and/or it's a peg to mount on the forearm port. The thumb is formed by either arm of the robot mode. So basically, you can have a left/right hand piece. There's a picture in the wonderfest coverage in the Japanese news section.
BBTS has these available for Pre-order. For $29.99, you get a pack of 10 which is a mix of the figures. They did this with the first series of AM as well, and I believe you got 2 of each. So if you want 2 of each AM, or if you want to build an armory for your Prime figures, this is a pretty good deal. The current estimated release date is this month, but we'll see about that. I wonder how the fists will look on PRID Soundwave...
Edit: Oh, and it looks like Bulkhead can be configured for left and right green goxing gloves.
