Transformers Prime Arms Micron Capsule Toys Series 2 New Images

By way of Snakas we are able to share with you some fresh images of the next series of Transformers Prime Arms Micron Gashapons, or Capsule Toys. Series 2 features the Arcee Blade, Bulkhead Knuckle and Megatron Cannon, each of whom turn into a Mini-con sized version of their respective Prime cast member. The assortment is rounded out by Dado, a gray and gold turtle who becomes a shield. Dado, like Gob and Zad in the previous assortment, is set to be available in two color variations - the variant features an inverted deco, i.e. the gold bits are silver and vice versa. It's quite cool.

Now to wait for SydneyY to translate whatever Megatron turns into.

Edit: Oh, and it looks like Bulkhead can be configured for left and right green goxing gloves.

Megatron's a cannon. SydneyY's translated the names for us for Resources a while back

Ooh, nice. The double barreled design interests me.

That turtle shield will be mine, both colors in fact.

They are not terribly expensive - why not just buy them ?
They are much cheaper than the Model kit ones and arguably more interesting.

I feel they make good companions for the Hasbro toys as some of them are a little weapon light. or if they do have weapon they are not so great - as with Optimus.

I can see Arcee looking quite neat with her Sword for example.

And I like that the (forth coming) Ratchet one is a tool rather than a weapon too.

They might adopt the idea at Hasbro sometime - but I have a feeling they might invent their own moulds as the Takara ones might be to fragile. and far to cheap for Hasbro to charge the sort of price they'd try to sell them for.

Which suggests they'd either throw the ones that exist already in some giftsets as little bonus or make whole new designs of their own.

oh I have been buying the arms micron sets. I hoping to grab the ones that come with the Takara Prime figures also, but it's a bit too expensive to buy the prime figures just for the microns.

Bulkhead knuckle/boxing glove is pretty nifty. XD The others are OK.
truesoundwave
alot of the microns feel like soundwaves cassettes
Awesome Welles
2 x Bulkhead fists = Hulk hands = win.

Kinda fancy using the Arcee sword as a cutlass Micron for Thundertron - the idea of him using a tiny captive autobot as a weapon fits his character IMO, and it looks bugger all like Arcee anyhow...
RedAlert Rescue
I'm tempted to use the Fists on things they plainly are not intended for like Optimus or Arcee - just for giggles. I'll have to be sure to buy two. Not sure if I'd need two Megatron or two Arcees depends on how I might like to use them - the Megatron gun might look neat on a Jetvehicon perhaps. It's probably to large to use on Micron (Deluxe Megatron) though as vehicle cannons - they'd look out of place.

Perhaps we are missing a trick perhaps a question to ask is will any of this stuff suit Unicron Trilogy toys - like the giant green fist on Armada Megatron or the Little Megatron cannon Microns on Energon Megatron or Botcon SG Megatron or Galaxy Force 'Voyager' Starscream as under wing attachments.

Or going by the Colour the Arcee Sword might work well with Darkmount or Cybertron Soundwave. Wheeljack or Ratchet's weapons might even go quite nicely with Classics Jetfire too.
Theprimeoflegen
I love them all except arcee.
Flexx Ark
When are these due out?
TCracker
They will be mine. Oh yes, they will be mine..
Shadowbreaker
I need 2 of those Bulkheads.

I've had the Bulkhead knuckle x2 pre-ordered at Captured Prey for awhile now. My hope is that Classics Bumblebee can Hulk Smash the bejesus out of everyone! Although I'm not really sure how a bot is supposed to hold them...
Also, I got me one of the turtles because they just look so bad ass.

Nope, either the 5mm pegs are mounted on a "T" and/or it's a peg to mount on the forearm port. The thumb is formed by either arm of the robot mode. So basically, you can have a left/right hand piece.

There's a picture in the wonderfest coverage in the Japanese news section.

A big green gauntlet/metal fist.

BBTS has these available for Pre-order. For $29.99, you get a pack of 10 which is a mix of the figures. They did this with the first series of AM as well, and I believe you got 2 of each. So if you want 2 of each AM, or if you want to build an armory for your Prime figures, this is a pretty good deal. The current estimated release date is this month, but we'll see about that.

I wonder how the fists will look on PRID Soundwave...

Wasn't 2 of each in the first set as there was 4 designs plus two repaints. 4 plus 1 repaint should mean 2 sets of five.

Transformers Prime Arms Micron Volume 02 - Box of 10 Pieces - Transformers Prime Japanese Figures

I didn't pick up the last set of 10 so I can't be certain. I know that one of the WTF @ TFW reviewers picked up the pack and said he had multiples of the four different molds and according to the Series 3 AM bag of 6 that BBTS offers(Transformers Prime Arms Micron Volume 03 - Bag of 6 Pieces - Transformers Prime Japanese Figures), it looks like they make sure you get all of the available versions in the set, then throw in the other figures at random. As there are only 5 different versions in Series 2, it would make sense that you get doubles of all of the figures for the complete 10.
