Transformers Prime Arms Micron Battle Shield Optimus Prime In-Hand Images

Autobase Aichi has shared a pair of galleries on Facebook, showing the recently released Toys R Us Japan exclusive Transformers Prime Voyager Optimus Prime redeco. This redeco is known as Battle Shield Optimus Prime, and comes with a few new additions. The main meat of the set is the Voyager Optimus Prime, recolored to match his appearance on the show! A simple redeco with darker gray plastic demonstrates how good this mold really is, with the proper paint applications. He also comes with three new Arms Microns, Pural, Jays and Sais, who transform into melee weapons individually or combine into the titular "battle shield", also known as the Cosmotechtor shield. They are set for individual release in Japan later this month - this set features exclusive gold versions.

(Fun fact: the name "Cosmotechtor" is a reuse from the Micron Legend series, aka Transformers Armada. It's the Japanese name of the Skyboom shield)

The second set of pictures focuses on a bonus giveaway piece, a cardboard Generation 1 themed trailer, which can mount up to eight Arms Microns on the roof, and can fit Deluxe class cars inside.
