I can't tell, is that actually the Weaponizer toy or just the mainline RiD/Arms Micron Voyager?

Looking at the legs in truck mode, I believe it's the weaponizer, which sucks, because that toy is terrible

It's Weaponiser Optimus + Ratchet's Micron (R.A.) + new Micron called Matrix which turns into....the Matrix.
Great idea to add minicons on the back of the cab, but I guess I'll have to do with Hasbro version

Ah, thanks for the confirmation! I had mixed feelings on that mold, but I collect microns so I guess I'll stick with this preorder and just pass on the US release.

I wonder if we'll get a similar "Arms Master Bumblebee" release using that Weaponizer mold later on in the Arms Micron line too.

I wonder if the Matrix one is compatible with other mould. I don't think that fits to AM Optimus...(gah too many Optimus Priem toys!!!)

I hear ya, syd! Yeah, me too.. looks like this are much bigger AM's to fit the new leader class mould.

It is! It's been crazy already and I imagine it'll just get crazier and more expensive as time goes on and more and more releases come out (particularly with exclusives). That said, I've been enjoying these new micron kits so far, so I can't complain really.

This has been my first time almost exclusively preordering a Japanese line over its US counterpart (Classics releases bounced back and forth, and I ended up with one of each in some cases) just for the microns. I don't anticipate getting a "breather" for a good while.

I can only see 2 Mini-cons, not 5. So where are the other 3?

The weaponizer Prime isn't turrible, faults but cool in its own right so this could be ok. Now weaponizer Bee looks really bad.

So, if this is the Weaponizer, then it would have the flip out guns on those grey parts in the truck mode. So now I wonder if they gutted the gimmick out and replaced it with normal parts for the japanese release.

Looks good I dig the remolds but worry about the arms and wrist getting loose from holding that sword.

If it's Weaponizer Prime, I'm still getting it; at least the mold is different enough from FE OP. The BBTS and TFSource preorder price at 120 USD is too expensive, though. I got mine from LocusHK for 80 USD, not sure if they're still open for preorders.

I could find a lot better stuff to buy with 80 bucks.

They are different figures. The one in your link is repaint of AM-01 (Japanese version of Poweriser Optimus) with 4 minicons, 3 of which forms a shield. His linitial listing (at Japanese TRU, where he is an exclusive to) was a news. As a rule, each preorder at online stores doen't qualify as news.

That must be another Optimus (I must have missed another news). As I said, too many Optimus Prime toys!

It seems to be since no known changes are being brought to the cab. Either that or it was removed completely for a thinner and redone backpack

That works for me, I'm enticed as is so I might preorder this one.

I preordered for the following reasons:

1) Matrix Arms Micron
2) Japanese Primes have better colouring (richer blues and reds)
3) The remolding done to make it a little different from Weaponizer Prime

I'm going to hold out for thigh master Optimus Prime.

So it's the weaponiser...the pricing makes perfect sense now (previously I had assumed it was due to the limited nature). Given it being the big sucker and ther Matrix Micron I may need to keep one from stock for myself now.

nothing can save this toy without changing those hollow legs first. dont get me wrong I dig the new AM's but I just dont think I could put up with the weaker aspects of that prime toy

They are starting to get crazy. Soon the Matrix will become it's own character. I think the price on this figure is too high so it's an easy pass for me.
