But yes, that is one awesome sword, and it seems that Megatron and Dreadwing had to do some grave-robbing to get that new arm of his.

...Now I kinda want a future retool of Voyager Megatron with his new arm and the sword.

Optimus put that thing away.

I wonder if the Autobots at the base takes place before or after the Eygpt fight between Arcee and Smokescreen against Megatron? It's likely the latter which I hope it is.

Also that sword is HUGE!

I still dont get how sticking the arm of a dead prime would mean Megatron could then use such autobot devices.

I thought that being a Prime is not so much to do with the physical aspects, but what makes the bot a Prime in his spark (his personality, beliefs and moral code.)

as such Megatron has none of those qualities so it shouldn't matter how many limbs he connects to himself from other dead primes, he should not be able to use anything.

This is the same thing I have been wondering.

There are a couple of the original 13 whose attitudes were said to be like Megatron's though, enough to potentially let him use the artifacts of the Primes. One of them was The Fallen, aka the original Megatronus

Remember in this continuity, Prime /= Autobot, the 13 predate such concepts. And not all of them were necessarily good guys. They're like the Greek Pantheons, the Titans - some were good, others, less so.

I've thought the very same thing. That would be like (although morbid and icky) taking MLK's or Ghandi's left pinky toe and grafting it to your own body. Although you now have the body part of a great person in history grafted to your body, a humanitarian and champion of social change this does not make you!

More than likely the show writers have a great concept for how this works and I look forward to seeing that play out. However, if it's simply a matter of Meg's grafting on dead Prime parts... then I will be mightily disappointed.

I will feel the same way. It wont stop me enjoying the show, but it will feel like a cheap way to give the decepticons an equal footing against the Autobots new advantage.

HAHA in the first picture the coffin lid is going to smash megatrons foot, and in the second prime is finishing off bulkhead.

That pic looks like he just got done with the vision thing from Alpha Trion. Ratchet actually looked pretty worried at the end of the last episode about the whole vision thing.

It looks like it takes place before the Egypt thing because it seems Optimus has just finished recieving his message from Alpha Trion and is falling over (notice how everyone is closing in around him with concern instead of rushing to get somewhere)>

Even if attitude is what made Optimus become a Prime it doesn't change the fact that the 13 were MADE Primes by ROBOT GOD. Their bodies are Prime bodies from the beginning.

If that arm belongs to somebody important instead of, say, a random Zeta Prime-like leader, it totally makes sense for it to be compatible with 13 artifacts.

The thing is what message did Alpha Trion give him, that's what makes me wonder what it was he said to him. Perhaps who would be a new prime in the future or how to stop Megs

so size matters now? ;p

He's desperate. Optimus has the Star Saber, and could use the Forge if he ever got it. Megatron needs something, anything, to tip the scale in his favour.
