Thanks to reports by TFW2005 members Squallte and TFfanSean, we know that the Thrilling 30 sub-line of blind pack miniature figures is continuing with the first reported sightings of series 2. Found at Targets in California and New Mexico (upfront near the collectible cards section) were the beginnings of series 2 figures. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like there is a code system so you’ll have to either go on luck or feel out the bag the best you can.
Happy hunting TFW!

Figures. :\
I give up on trying to find wave 2 in the US, order them from from New Zealand, and THEN they show up in the US? WTF!?!? Meh. Probably better off for it really – St Louis is a TF black hole, and its doubtful we'll ever get them in one way or another.
Does anyone know when Hasbro, and its distributors, are gonna get their heads out of their a$$es and start actually sending product to the people wanting to buy it? I don't know about you guys, but Hasbro's new business model of "just send us money" isn't working so well for me…

In case you're not seeing these at Target. They are up near the front registers with the baseball and Magic/Pokemon cards, but they're not on a shelf. They're in a box hanging on the pegboard. I missed them the first time I checked that section because I was looking on the shelves.
Flexx Ark
I hate that these are blind bags. Does anyone know if Toys r Us (US) is getting these with the figures showing like series 1?
THE-TRANSFORMER
I can't really speak for anywhere else, however both series 1 and 2 were released at the same time on individual blister packs here in Australia (TRU) about 6 months ago.
Squallte
Yeah, the whole thing is confusing as hell because the checklist has both series 1 and 2 together so people think it was all released at the same time.
griffin-of-oz
That was surprisingly late for America. The second set of 15 were released in Australia back in July 2014… and were out so long that they ended up at a clearance outlet chain late last year.
I still haven't seen any sign of the complete 30-pack of figurines (noted on the manufacturer's website – bottom of the page) or the two 15-packs.

Shockwave (G1, Movie, and Prime) was part of Series 2.

But wasn't Shockwave part of Series 1? Maybe my memory is just off.
Rewind
Is there a trading thread for these yet? I'm looking for a Rodimus and have:
Series 1
G1 Optimus
Movie Megatron (no card)
Series 2
G1 Shockwave
TFP Shockwave
TFP Wheeljack (x2)
TFP Soundwave
Movie Soundwave
Movie Bumblebee
Smashs
Finally. Hitting TRU next Tuesday, so hopefully I'll spot them. Been waiting a long time for series two.
Kenchanayoh
I have never seen these for sale before, and I go shopping at target once a week.

Series 2 is news…those two that you mentioned are from Series 1.

This is news? I've seen these at Target for the past several months, I got Prime Megatron and G1 Optimus back in like November. Had I known this was news, I would have said something earlier.

So the others weren't in the blind bags at all – that was not even remotely clear in the packaging or the card. No wonder I kept getting the same crap and never got any of the other figures. Honestly as much as I like these I am not sure I want to spend more money on them considering how much I wasted on the first.
I bought the three boxes of five figures and kept buying blind packs in hopes of getting the Shockwaves and Grimlock but just kept getting the same shit that was in the boxes.
Flexx Ark
Definitely getting all of the ones from the Prime series.
engledogg
Concerning the first series, the 15 figures were available either blind-bagged or individually-carded.
G1 Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Ratchet, and Soundwave
Movie Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Ratchet, and Sentinel Prime
Prime Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Ratchet, and Bulkhead
Then there were multi-packs (five-packs and three-packs) available made up of the same figures found in the single-packs. The five packs were either G1, Prime, or Movie-related, with the appropriate figures from the available 15 divided up into three five-packs.
The three-packs were character-centric, with Optimus Prime, Megatron, Ratchet and Starscream each getting a G1, Movie, and Prime version figure as part of the three-pack.
So far, the second series has only been found blind-bagged here in the States, but individually-carded versions came out in Australia (back in July).

These look the same as before. . .or did I miss something about the previous set? Because that would certainly explain why every single pack I bought only contained a figure that was also available in the boxes of five and why I have 6 movie optimus figures from it.
Dachande
I bought series two in November from online, and there isn't an Optimus. He was in series one.
