Personally I think it looks like it transforms into a hog. the barrel opening looks sort of like a pig nose, hes got some tiny little tusks on the side of the barrel, and up top it looks like hes got a line of fur sticking up, almost like a razorback.

at the stickers! Sadly, that has ruined this entire line for me, and I'm staying away from buying imports that skimp on paint. | I love the Breakdown....too bad we arent gettign him in the states as hasbro has yet to give any indication he's being released here. Wonder why japan is getting all the good stuff (mostly) the last few years. Seems like hasbro is not really liking the US market anymore. |
Because of course they couldn't possibly be waiting for SDCC, one of the biggest cons in the States, to announce him right? I mean, who needs logic?

Why wait for SDCC to announce they are releasing breakdown? By your "logic" they should have waited to release any concepts of Ironhide or Kup since they won't be released till after July...Logic indeed ![]()
I would say it has something to do with the fact that Breakdown has become something of a walking spoiler at this point, due to him dying and being used (presumably) as Silas' new body. Remember how DOTM Soundwave was withheld until SDCC for spoiler reasons too?
... Seriously? 1) Ironhide already came out as a Cyberverse figure. 2) The Ironhide or Kup deluxe, whichever actually is coming out, had to be solicited for stores months before SDCC, unlike Breakdown, who isn't coming out til much later. 3) Breakdown is a character from the show. Ironhide will never be on the show, and Kup isn't on the show and most likely never will be.
Never say never....with what they did to bulk in the season finale ( speculation is he may be killed) and if so they may replace our resident tough guy with Ironhide......though ideally it would be nice to have them BOTH on the show. It seems no one is safe in terms of survivability in Prime....they've iced CJ, Skyquake and Breakdown s'far.

...Hasbro needs to announce Breakdown's US release sooner... =(
Aside from the RiD wave 3/4 revision case, all I'm holding out for mainly would be something along the lines of a Hasbro version of Breakdown and some good wave mates.

Once again, I'm certain Breakdown will probably be in the Thundertron wave, possibly alongside Ultra Magnus. Back on the toy itself, I'm still utterly puzzled as to how the mounting point for his hammer works...where does his hand go?
I suspect the opposite point of view noted above stems from a fear that we will not get a Voyager Skyquake. That said, this may not be the time nor the place.
