Unicron's alt mode has a giant Unicron face on the top.

and yeah, my fears confirmed. The backs of his lower arms are completely flat. They need to be combined together if you want to fix that, leaving him missing half of one arm. So then the micron becomes the missing arm part. No proper arms, "wad" arms are flat on one side, and he has no hands. Combined mode has him staring at the chest of Optimus or Megatron.
Honestly, he's pretty stupid. but I still want him.

Looking at his elbows, that shot of him with the Micron as his arm with his arms bent is likely as far as the arms bend, since the hinge is contained on the detachable lower arm pieces instead of his actual arm. There's not enough clearance on the hinge to let it bend any further.

I like that Unicron's alt mode has a bigger version of his face on it, and that he seems to have minimal stickers. (It looks like just his toes, crotchplate, faction symbols, and those weird tech details on his insides.)

Unicron looks absolutely horrible, and yet almost wonderful. the colours and placement of the chrome almost reminds me of a Japanese Beast Wars figure. A Beast Wars figure that got dressed in the dark and had totally useless fucking arms. If it weren't for the fact that I actually hate Prime Unicron I'd be all over it.

The combined mode's crotch plate is the center piece of Unicron's giant face. His nose is literally right against Optimus and Megatron's crotch. While his normal face stares at them from their chests.

That Unicron is freakishly colored, bizarrely designed, inexplicably a combiner, AND I LOVE IT. Something about me just gets super excited when Transformers designs get this weird. I'm biting my finger just looking at this thing. If a little more money ends up rolling my way this might be the first toy I ever import.

Unicron is really bad looking. The color scheme is an eye sore. And of course, it aint Takara if it doesn't have random assed chrome/shiny stuff. I'd also prefer if he had hands instead of mace club thingies. Kinda like how is alt mode is a giant face though.
Again, I'd buy Ironhide, but if he was $10-$15 and not the $30+ it takes to import.

They mis-transformed one of Unicron's legs in these pics. The toy-world.com pics show unicrons legs properly transformed.
The combined armor modes forced too many Constraints on the Gaia Unicron toy.
Hasbro could easily release Gaia Unicron. As a Maximus Unicron toy for Cyber verse.
Still haven't a clue what that ugly alt mode is suspose to be. is it a air or ground alt mode. it looks like the meteor ship Springer drove in the FFOD episodes.

I wonder if there's going to be two different color schemes of gaia unicron. The previous magazine scan showed both the one we see in this thread and a more muted color scheme. I'd rather have the more muted color.

Size-wise, it's a tad bigger than voyagers. I think DLX Knockout reaches up to his hip. Price wise, it's a tad more expensive than previous Voyager figures, japanese pricepoints though.

Takara has weird prices. that can't be used to determine size.
If Gaia Unicron was leader size. It would be too big to fold up as Armor. for voyager sized toys to wear as armor coats.

Let's take that stand he's on out of the picture, and put his feet even with Airachnid's.
Then let's compare him to the vehicon on the same riser he's on, taking into account that it's squatting a little. Then use the vehicon on Megatron's riser as a reference for height, even though he's not squatting. He's a little taller than Megatron, maybe an inch. although his wings go much higher.
Also, you can see Swerve's box on the far left of the image. Unicron's box looks to be the same exact height as the standard Voyager package. There is no way he's leader class.

Preorders cancelled. Unicron just looks awful. It looks like a bad render from a failed Bayverse design and made into reality through a plastic printer. The chrome is just tacky, shitty icing on the cake of fail. As for Ironhide.... I have the Cyberverse which doesn't cheat and every part of him does something. Both figures flat out suck. I'm very disappointed.
