TVShowsOnDVD.com has posted cover art both both the DVD and Blu-Ray releases of the Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters – Predacons Rising Direct-To-Video movie. While the cover art features Optimus Prime and Predaking in a non-spoiler-type fashion, the synopsis for the movie features plenty of spoilers regarding the end of the Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters series as well as the movie. Predacons Rising is out on Blu-Ray October 1st and on DVD on October 8th.

Thanks dude!
I found a vid on Youtube that showed both Preda Risi and Season 3 with slipcases. I wanted to make sure it was at least sometimes included. Just called, they said it did have a slipcase! Yippee!
BenjaminXavier
Slipcases are typically only on the first pressing of DVDs/Blu Rays, any subsequent pressings don't have them. This is an industry standard. So having it only means its the first printing, not that its not "complete" without it.

Sorry to bring an old thread up but I need an answer to this question.
Does the USA DVD only Predacon's Rising come with a paper/cardboard slip case?
I am buying this used through my HPB and wanted to ensure that it was complete. Mostly because I thought that Season 3 (dvd) would have come with a slip case, like Seasons 1-2, but it did not. Please help guys, soon please mechs & femmes!

Some guy on DevianArt posted the synopsis of the movie without spoilertags, so it quickly spoiled the surprise for me.
But I don't care as it only made me even more hype fort the movie.
BooyakaDragon
So my prediction was correct, not too spoily for me.

The fate of my favorite character really pisses me off.

I have a feeling that Shockwave, Starscream and Knockout will be the last three Cons left

I had no idea what was going to happen to Prime, especially the upgrade. So, yeah, it was spoilerish. I figured Prime would live but I had no idea he was gonna end up buff as hell with a jetpack.
Bruticus927
Well i could see happening that way …. haha just like sentinel prime stated '' All I ever wanted was the survival of our race'' in the dark of the moon movie.

Supposedly people tend to enjoy things more when they've been given the option of spoiling themselves. Perhaps they're hopping on the psychology bandwagon?

In terms of the show I'd prefer Optimus also – though Predaking makes more sense as they have been building up Predaking as a rival to Optimus. I can easily see a massive fight occurring between Optimus and Megatron – only for Predaking to interrupt and deal the finishing blow to Megatron – who states a line about "All I wanted was to revive Cybertron"

I have a feeling
happens in the finale of series 3 – probably via
killing him.

Damn, the very definition of spoilery.
This movie will be amazing.

Guys, remember on this show that 'if they die they stay dead'? I really think this is the end for him in the aligned continuity. No 'his will figthing for control' garbage… this time, for the this and whatever sequel series, he's really and truly gone. Would make sense too, as the live action movie franchise is moving on past him, the frachise as a whole (outside of IDW) might be retiring him and moving on to other characters to fill his role. It is a possibility, he's not that indispensible to the franchise.
Bruticus927
I really hope optimus is the one who kills megatron because throughout previous battles ( not counting the first time optimus megatron in his new body ) optimus has been getting his ass kicked by megatron he never won any of the fights so he deserves to kill megatron not predaking.

*Reads last 2 pages* SMH.
Well, hopefully the movie will air on a Friday or Saturday.

It's normal practice nowadays. Many companies hope, that by spoiling game-changing events it might attract new viewers/readers.
Sometimes it's quite hilarious, like Marvel blind-bagging an issue of Fantastic Four to avoid early spoilers, only for them to reveal the entire plot of the book before it even had a chance to hit stores.
RedAlert Rescue
Well it was a spoiler if you only saw the toy since the toyline looks nothing like the show in many cases.
