Transformers Prime Cyberverse Commanders Ironhide and Dreadwing New Pics

Posted on 03-23-2012 at 02:34 PM by ORIO under Transformers Prime
IronhideandDreadwing Thanks to Hobbybase Japan's Facebook and Hk-TF.com we have new images of upcoming Transformers Cyberverse Commander figures, Ironhide and Dreadwing. These pics show off the figures in package and a few outside of their plastic prisons. There bios have also been revealed:

Ironhide is always ready for anything, as long as “anything” involves a fight. Surly, tough and spoiling for battle, Ironhide has made a career out of blasting Decepticons to pieces. His laser-proof armor makes him a tough opponent for even the most powerful warriors.

Dreadwing is fiercely loyal to Megatron, and is nearly as savage in battle as the Decepticon leader himself. As a Seeker, he proved himself a force to be reckoned with, as Decepticon second-in-command, he may be the end of the Autobots.

TFW Transformers Prime Starscream (First Edition) Galleries

Posted on 03-17-2012 at 05:50 PM by Sol Fury under Transformers Prime
TFPrime-FE-Starscream-26 I scream, you scream, we all scream for Starscream!

Hasbro has come out with many great flavors of the treacherous Decepticon lieutenant over the years - from the original Generation 1 version, ghostly undead Energon Starscream, ambitious beyond all measure Cybertron Starscream, all the way through to the more recent interpretations on the classic like Animated Starscream and Movie Starscream. Today though, we are looking at the newest incarnation of Starscream, from Transformers Prime.

The first Transformers Prime Starscream was the awesome deluxe class First Edition toy - a lithe, slender Decepticon who folds up in a very satisfying way to form a cool fighter jet. There are to date three versions of this toy, and would you believe we have galleries of all three for your enjoyment?

From thedrknss48 we have a look at Hasbro's First Edition Prime Starscream. The slightly altered Takara Tomy First Edition Prime Starscream is brought to you by SydneyY. Lastly there is the recent Ultimate Opponents Starscream, which we focused earlier this week.

Check out all three versions of Transformers Prime's Starscream by opening the links below!

Prime Cyberverse Legion Wave 2 Released in Singapore

Posted on 03-15-2012 at 08:31 AM by Sol Fury under Transformers Prime
cypw21 We have received reports that the second assortment of Transformers Prime Cyberverse Legion toys has been released in Singapore. This assortment blends Movie and Prime characters in a best of both worlds approach.

On the Prime side of things, there is the addition of Breakdown to the Cyberverse series. On the Movieverse side of things, we have Evac from Transformers the Ride, the first transformable toy of Movie Mirage to date - he's a redeco of Revenge of the Fallen Legends Sideways, though - and a blue redeco of Dark of the Moon Cyberverse Soundwave.

Hopefully the Singapore sighting means these are also creeping into US warehouses and will put in an appearance at US retail very soon. In the mean time, read on to check out these in-hand pictures by 2005 Boards member Gunshot!

Transformers Prime Bumblebee VS Starscream Ultimate Opponents Two Pack Gallery

Posted on 03-14-2012 at 06:30 PM by Sol Fury under Transformers Prime
Ultimate-Opponents-Group This past weekend, the new Transformers Prime episode Operation Bumblebee told a story of how the Autobot Bumblebee was defeated by MECH, who forged an alliance with Starscream. How appropriate then that recently released in Asia is a new Transformers Prime two-pack featuring all these characters!

With his grip on power weakening, Megatron finds himself vulnerable for the first time. Starscream is there to take advantage of it. But with leadership within his reach, Starscream must still deal with Bumblebee and the Autobots - a truly tough opponent to overcome.

The Ultimate Opponents set consists of redecos of First Edition Bumblebee and Starscream - Bumblebee now sports a more orangey plastic and some blue stripes which fade to black along the length of his bodywork, while Starscream is redecoed with purple highlights which you could consider to be "Dark Energon" - after all, Starscream has made use of it in the past.

The set also includes PVC figures of human villains Silas and a MECH Trooper, plus a DVD featuring the episodes Convoy, Sick Mind and Out of his Head - MECH's debut episode, and a Bumblebee focus two-part episode with a lot of Starscream screentime.

Overall, it is a fun set, great if you missed the First Edition toys last time out, or if you are a fan of redecos or VS sets. The set is already out in Asia, and it is also slated for a potential Canadian release.

Click the links below and check out our gallery! Stay tuned for more Transformers Prime toy goodness!
