Gacha Tomy Transformers Battle Disk Shooters

Posted on 04-10-2014 at 06:37 AM by Sol Fury under Transformers Prime
Battle_Disk_Shooters2 An interesting discovery comes to us from Kaufland supermarkets in Germany, who do not usually stock Transformers product. They are carrying a series of "Battle Disk Shooters" from Tomy's subsidiary Gacha. The disk shooters seem like something you'd find on the cover of the UK Transformers comic by Titan Magazines, and each one comes with a target, a disk shooter and a pair of disks. They're available in eight different styles, and while their packaging is done in the new 2014 standard style, the artwork used is as far as we can see from the Transformers Prime series.

27425487d1395062317-transformers-prime-bumblebee-optimus-prime-coin-bank-mash-ems-kinder-ferrero-egg Thanks to a recent Target shopping trip by TFW2005 boards member TFPrime, we've spotted a few Transformers merchandise oddities that may be fun to add to your collection.

First up are two coin banks of Transformers Prime characters Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. They are hand painted ceramic and are priced at $12.99 each.

Also found were Transformers Prime "Mashem" figures, which are advertised as "super squishy" and are meant to be flung around like a sling shot. The pack found includes Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Bulkhead, Soundwave, and Megatron.

TFPrime was also nice enough to share in-hand images of a separate haul of his recently acquired Universal Studios figures of Generation 1 Megatron, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Also shared were in-hand images of the Kinder and Ferrero eggs which come with Transformers Prime characters that can be built.

Transformers: Prime Sequel Show Update

Posted on 03-18-2014 at 02:21 PM by Mechafire under Transformers Prime
Transformers-Hub-Bumblebee-1920-1_1395084346 Following on from yesterday's reveal of the next Transformers cartoon's Bumblebee, TFW2005 member Rogzilla has tipped us off about a post made by one of the storyboard artists, Matthew Humphreys, who was a member of Transformers: Prime's creative team and is also working on the new show. In it, he clarifies that the image we saw is not necessarily indicative of how the final product will look:

"I canít say much because you know the reasons. But I just feel the need to say that with our new show being announced the artwork shown on various sites is NOT a good representation of what the designs look like fully fleshed out. The new show looks amazing and Iím having a ton of fun working on it and I hope everyone watches when it comes out."

So, what do you think about this revelation? Share your thoughts on the boards after the jump!

397524_667839729949352_742753079_n Via Transformers Dioramas on Facebook, we can share with you images of the Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters Titan Guardians figures. These figures are large, simple and simply articulated. The four are Beast Hunters Optimus Prime, Prime Bumblebee, Prime Shockwave, and Beast Hunters Sharkticon Megatron.

We're not completely sure on the size - they were leaked on Hasbro's customer service website as Titan Guardians, which are 16 inches tall, however they might well end up being 6 inches tall. Time, as always, will tell.
