Amazon.com has updated their preorders for the upcoming Beast Hunters deluxe wave 6 figures. This wave of deluxes will be the first wave of the upscaled Cyberverse toys. These new images show robot, alternate mode and in package pictures of the way. The new packages feature a promotional tagline of having only five steps. A new initiative with Hasbro to simplify the figures for younger fans who may have had trouble over the last few years with complicated Transformations. The wave consists of two Autobots and two dragon Predacons. The packaging images of the two Predacons do not clarify or not whether these upscaled Cyberverse toys will combine like their Legion counterparts. At least, not yet.
You can check out the new images of Smokescreen, Bumblebee, Twinstrike and Windrazor by clicking the title bar.

I'm just happy were getting a modern Cosmos. No complaints here.

Really wish they upsized the Commander class Hardshell/Insecticon mold to Voyager/Weaponizer size instead.
Mechafire
^Should be the tagline of these figures

All stock images and con display samples have lacked the necessary pegs, and we have no idea if the torso and legs are even being released in this scale. Things aren't looking good.

Any news if the Predacons can combine?

The re-paints look awsome!

How is Hasbro expecting to sell these toys? Is there a new show with these guys that I'm not aware of?
Remember the days when toys on the shelves were of characters that were in the comic, and on a cartoon that was aired 5 times a week?

I,for one like these things! They look like fun play-things. I probably won't have the funds to get them, seeing that there's pacific rim, generations, and other stuff, but I do like them!

the predacons look ok and if theycombine then even better but might hold off for the smokescreen and bee

Ditto! I'm 43 years old and I have a hard time transforming tranformers Deluxes,Voyagers etc.

What an odd thing for the "lord of mini-bots" to say…
Aeronnz
This is completely unrelated, but I was just wondering why you always say your name in your posts?
I've been wondering about it for a while…

Hello, missing the point.
Hasbro made them simple for 5 to 10 year olds or so, not us.
And they want and NEED them to buy Transformers.
-ZacWilliam, Rescue Bots are aimed at Preschoolers 3-5ish. But kids above that age need toys they can TF themselves, in less than a minute while playing, that are fun too.
nicholsG1
to all people bitching about overcomplex transformers, YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY THEM!!!!!
there are more than transformers out there. if you want simple, I think you need the rescue bots stuff.
Anguirus
I doubt that would happen. In Central Texas I haven't seen the Generations brand leave the store layouts since it started in 2010.

I feel WTF after a few days not reading the news over a long weekend….
In general I don't mind their decision about what to make , but I 'd be so pissed ~when~ I might be seeing so many of these clogging the pegs at my local retail stores and the worst when these piece of sh_t even occupying the deluxe pegs for the Generation deluxe..
Ravenxl7
They are the Legion designs, but they've been upscaled to be about the size of a Deluxe. Much like the new Voyagers of Optimus and Predaking, which are based on their Cyberverse Commander figure designs. Though in their case their actual size is closer to the old Ultras, but they're being sold at the Voyager class price-point.
The way I understand it, these are meant to be a test to see how well figures like these would sell as an option for younger kids along side the more complex figures meant for older kids/teens and us adult collectors.

I am confused… (or maybe I was lost in news) Aren't these Legion class ??
Anguirus
HA! When I was a kid, I couldn't maintain interest in Transformers because they WEREN'T action figures. You can pose action figures. I didn't get into them until 2009 when I realized the engineering was there to make a transforming action figure.
Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.
