I really hope we see Flamewar in the the deluxe line-up down the road.

Anyway. I may pick up that Wheeljack, I may be the only one but it reminds me of the diaclone scheme.

That bio makes it sound like Magnus was commander of the Wreckers in the Prime universe, which I'd totally be okay with. Also, I could imagine Flamewar meeting with Airachnid and Starscream on weeknights to plot Arcee's death. There's probably a support group at the rate they're going with people who want to kill Arcee

Is that "Friction Rifle" Arcee's gun and blade (from the show) combined? If it is i'm so getting that figure just for the gun. I'll give it to my Cyberverse Arcee =]

He is - according to the novels anyway, which this design seems to take its inspiration from.

It's actually the gun from the Vehicons in Wave 1, also bundled with the blue Movie Soundwave in Wave 2. I guess it sort of works like you suggested though.

I like that Hyperspeed Wheeljack seems to harken back to Marlboor Wheeljack...

I'll probably pick up the Nightwatch Prime, though I hope the red is at least a darker shade of red than the original release of Prime....

I love how succinct Ultra Magnus's bio is. It can pretty much be summed up as "He's a badass. Deal with it."

Those Prime swords look great. Easily justifies the repaint

Also, is Lightspeed Wheeljack supposed to represent the pre-Earth mode Wheeljack? I may just use it for that if I pick it up...

Also, would you guys say this Wheeljack is a good representation of show-Wheeljack if you can't afford the playset with him? Are the colors and their placement close enough?

I think they hinted at a Legion Airachnid at Botcon. But yeah, her bio sounds a LOT like Airachnid.

Anyway, I'm definitely getting Magnus and Flamewar. Will probably get Nightwatch Prime for TEH SWORDZ as well. Hopefully this is a sign that they will be out at retail en masse soon.

Man, I am really digging Flamewar. Outstanding looking for a repaint. Especially a CV Legion one. Hasbro really put some thought into her. And I second a deluxe Flamewar.

I like Flamewar. She looks really cool & her bio is vaguely Airachnid(ish) I guess it doesnt help that I support more fembots

Ultra Magnus from the looks of it now seems pretty likely to be in the show. His toy's pretty awesome too. I may pick this one up but I'm looking forward to his Voyager figure more.

As for Flame War she does sound a lot like Airachnid. Maybe she's a clone of Arcee but with the personalty of Airachnid? Who knows? Either way she looks like a cool toy.

Like the others I too would like to see a Deluxe version of Flame War.

Hopefully we'll see a Deluxe Flamewar in a future wave instead of the obligatory 9th Bumblebee repaint. Maybe even using the FE Arcee mold...?

That's actually a good idea. It makes sense since it helps make Flame War somewhat more different from the RID Arcee mold. Like how Takara's using the FE Cliffjumper mold as the Terrorcon.

Flamewar definitely has a place in my collection. Good to see her in a main (non-Timelines) fiction. And I will echo the prayers for a deluxe release.

Count me out on that front. The RID mold is so much better, style-wise, and with a head tweak, would look so much more evil. I love the FE, but it just doesn't match well with the main RID guys.

Agreed 110%. In Arcee's case, the PRID version is superior to the FE. The only thing the FE has over PRID Arcee is the arm blades, oversized as they may be.

Hinted? More like, they built one, and showed pics of it. So no idea what they are doing with the Flamewar bio. No worry to me, only thing I like about her is the name. Don't need an Evil Clone Arcee figure.

Oddly enough, Prime Wheeljack's alt mode is much more appropriate to the vehicle homage than Generations "Corvette" Wheeljack. Plus, it's a Legion, he'd serve about as well as anything as a Classic 'jack in that scale.

Strangly enough I can see Airachnid doing that if she's ever pushed to the brink of of her plans being foiled by Arcee enough times.

Okay, I seriously need to see this WJ mold next to some Classics/G1 Legends class figs. Don't know if it'd work or not, but this repaint would push me in the receptive direction.

That said, I wish Hasbro would do some Diaclone repaints in the Classics line. Bluestreak is a must, please.
