HOT SUMMER FUN IN STORE THIS AUGUST FOR THE HUB TV NETWORK’S ‘TRANSFORMERS PRIME’ AND ‘TRANSFORMERS RESCUE BOTS’

Season Two of The Hub’s “Transformers Prime” Returns
With All-New Episodes On A New Day and Time August 24

Optimus Prime and Bumblebee Team Up For Colossal Two-Part
“Transformers Rescue Bots” Time-Travel Episode Guest Starring Tim Curry

Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are back! The two iconic Autobots will return to The Hub Television Network, a destination for kids and their families, doing double duty this month. The duo will appear in “Transformers Prime,” which resumes season two on a new day and in a new time Friday, August 24, 7 p.m. ET, and will team up for the first time to work side-by-side with the Rescue Bots in a special back-to-back, two-part presentation of “Transformers Rescue Bots” Saturday August 18, 12:30-1:30 p.m. ET.

The 2012 Daytime Emmy® Award-winning “Transformers Prime,” produced by Hasbro Studios, features archrivals Optimus Prime and Megatron once again facing off in their legendary battle for Earth as the Autobots and Decepticons uncover clues to change the balance of power in the war, and also potentially revive their home planet of Cybertron.

“Transformers Prime” resumes new episodes of season two with “Hurt,” which finds Miko and Wheeljack embarking on a quest for revenge after discovering that the final relic in the hunt may have proved more fatal to Bulkhead than the Insecticon warriors who pursued him.

Actor Tim Curry (Clue) will reprise his role as the villainous Dr. Morocco in a special two-part episode of “Transformers Rescue Bots.” The animated series from Hasbro Studios centers on a group of Autobots charged by Optimus Prime with protecting and learning about humans on a technologically advanced island. Teamed with a human family of first responders, they keep peace and safety in their new home.

The two-part, back-to-back episode, “It’s a Bot Time,” follows Doc Greene's experiment with a time machine that goes awry resulting in the Bots, Cody and Frankie ending up in 1939 Griffin Rock. In part two, a return home to the normally pristine Griffin Rock proves unsettling as it has morphed into the dreary city of Moropolis run by the sinister Doctor Morocco (Curry).

Hmm... I'm gonna say.... STASIS?

In between, him and Airachnid can be stasis buddies

Well, there wasn't a post together with them, but we knew what the RB eps were about (season finale of RB). Although we didn't know Prime and BB would be involved...cool!

Unfortunately this is true in some cases RIP 2011 Thundercats . But with a season 3 already confirmed for TF: Prime, this dosen't bother me much. Looking forward to new Episodes

If the kiddies can have this show, and the people that like Prime can have that show...I want a continuation of G1 damnit, or some kind of redux!

Glad to see Prime be put a day early.

ThunderCats died because it just wasnt as interesting as the other primetime shows CN had to offer like the DC Nation. but generally the target audience will be able to catch the show on friday nights since they will be home doing home work. Remember after the saturday morning cartoon craze died it seems friday nights took over, Thursday is where shows go to die

Me too! She's been suspicious of them for a while now, figured she'd be next to find out (about time too)!

Rescue Bots finale??
So sad. No more fun Transformers TV shows being produced.

EDIT: *SEASON* finale. Not final Season. Sorry guys, my fingers wrote faster than my brain understand the thread title

Besides I seriously doubt that the Hub would want to put it's flagship show at risk by putting up time slots that are risky. I mean most of CN's show's nowadays are expendible while the Hub isn't really like that. Not saying it won't end a show before it's time but not like how CN does it at least.

I know some folks won't like it, but I'm thrilled that TFP is returning to Fridays nights!! Just seems to work out so much better for me to watch and be online to discuss the episodes. Must admit I had a feeling that Bulk was going to have more trouble with the Tox-En than the shot to the back, he's taken fire from every con out there w/o too many injuries, but the Tox-En, as he said 'prolonged exposure weakens them to the point of paralysis, possibly snuffing out their sparks'. Just hope Bulk, with Ratchet's help, recovers.

Also good news that Optimus and Bee will both be involved in the S1 ending of RB!!! When they were talking about a previous nemesis, I was kinda hoping more of the BOT kind, not just a human kind. Coming back to GR and seeing a changed island, well, that has to be a big shock to all of them and possibly a good way to get help from Optimus and Bee.

Can't wait to see my fave TF series, endings and beginnings.
Raptarrin
Yay - Friday is such a better time slot. I remember so many Fridays getting home tired and wishing there was something good to watch.
shroobmaster
Are we sure that Optimus and Bee are in the Rescue Bots finale? It kind of feels like the press release is talkiing about Optimus and Bee returning to the channel with new TF episodes, not really in RB.

Just reread it to be sure, but it sounds like they're gunna be in RB too.

Well, there are two new bot toys coming out in the coming months. Maybe she and her father will both find out, and partner up with them.
