Here is some good news – in an interview with World’s Finest, writer Greg Weisman mentions he has done some work, freelance, writing for the current incarnations of Transformers, Transformers Prime (Beast Hunters we assume) and Rescue Bots. For those not familiar with Greg Weisman, he is an expert at crafting intricate stories filled with characterization and clever twists. You might have seen some of his work in Gargoyles, the Spectacular Spider-Man or Young Justice.
These will most likely be one-shot episodes given his freelance role in the series, but if they are half as awesome as an episode of any of those three series we are in for a treat.
Check out the full interview over at World’s Finest.

In short Greg wasn't a factor but a pawn- Wait Young Justice is being cancelled because of toys? Uhhhhhhhhhh wow I didn't realize they were dependent on toy sales.
Scrapmaker
Well, the point is people shouldn't worry. Greg's involvement didn't doom The Batman, and it won't doom Rescue Bots. (There's also the bit about how Spectacular Spider-Man was cancelled primarily because of Disney buying out Marvel, and Young Justice being cancelled because of lack of toy sales ; both of which were out of Greg's control).
SPLIT LIP
So would someone saying the character is good and giving a reason be likewise denying anyone who believe's the contrary and thus also be dogmatic?
That's not dogma, it's called having an opinion and reasons for it.
However if it turned into a fight it obviously wasn't very well presented.
Moonlight1102
It's dogmatic because when you are giving a reason to why a character is legitimately bad, you are denying anyone else's opinion contrary to said character. Stating your own opinion as truth: that's dogmatic.
SPLIT LIP
I don't think that's what the word "dogmatic" means.
But I wasn't there so I can't say for sure.
Moonlight1102
Apparently there was a fight here earlier about Arcee and "legitimate reasons" as to why she sucked. How dogmatic.
Anyways, I figure Greg will be writing a "Return of MECH" episode (because I refuse to believe we've seen the last of them) with a new and more experienced leader. Buuuut, that's just me.

And Off Course Keith David voices someone, as well as the rest of the Next Generation cast.

Didn't help that it was a bunch of new writers in Season 3…
Reminds me of G1 Transformers alot. Season 1 : good and short , Season 2, super long and fragging spectacular, Season 3: ehhhhh just not as good..
Transformers Prime episodes that have Greg behind them are probably going to be amazing. I won't know until it comes out, but I'm being an optimist on this.
Scrapmaker
Beast Hunters is Prime's last season, so it was ending regardless of his involvment.
But Rescue Bots might be in danger. But probably not. Lets keep in mind that only shows that Greg was majorly involved in like Spec. Spider-Man or Young Justice got this treatment. Writing a few episodes does not constitute major involvement. After all, he wrote several episodes of The Batman and that show got five seasons and a proper ending.
Only shows where he was the producer (Young Justice and Spectacular Spider-Man) or the creator (Gargoyles) have suffered the fate of cancellation (although Gargoyles went south during the Goliath Chronicles, which he was not involved in other than the first episode, so….).
LordPrime
I would not be against that.
Op. Bee was so-so, but I enjoyed the other three immensely.
LegendAntihero
I like knowing the same guy is behind Young Justice and Transformers Prime.
Boy Blunder
1 – Watch more Gargoyles
2 – Watch the previous episode of YJ for some glorious backfire of epic proportions.
3 – I think Brent Spiner might do a better Starscream than he did a Joker.
HoneyPrime
That's pretty cool. I enjoyed his work on Gargoyles. I look forward to seeing his stuff for Prime and Rescue Bots.

She'll get to moan again in 80 years. There's nothing she can do to stop Jack from dying.
Jus09
Oh my…-faints- If Gargoyles [one of my favorite cartoons of all time] and Spectacular don't speak volumes for the man, I don't know what does. Hopefully, I'm praying he and Paul Dini [the man behind Batman the Animated Series and Justice League] join forces to make an awesome Transformers movie.

Beast wars Writters for Beast Hunters Prime
The Reason for TF: P being cancel is because Season 2 was Boring.. but now that Greg Weisman is Writing a episodes Season 3 will be off the walls good..tell me Disney Gargoyles wasn't a good show? or Young Justice( not young Justice:Invasion first episodes were wack)and we need some writing from Bob Forward and Larry Ditillo (Beast Wars writers) Again u can't say that Beast Wars was poor written.
Big IV
I don't know which Trans episodes he has written specifically in the past, but I love Weisman's Gargoyles, Young Justice, and Spectacular Spider-Man. Off the top of my head these are three solid shows that he wrote.
Prime_816
Sweet! I was a huge fan of Gargoyles.
Spin-Out
Let me guess: Megatron, Predaking, and Shockwave form a SEEEEEECRET ORDER called "The Dark" or "The Way," and they manipulate everyone and their schemes never backfire. Also, Starscream is recast as Brent Spiner, who just doesn't fit the role.
Puck Hockey
Oh hell yeah!
