Another pictorial review this morning for your enjoyment! This time from 2005 Board member [soundwave], we have a look at the upcoming Wave 3 Transformers Prime Cyberverse Commander Ultra Magnus. This is yet another great looking Cyberverse figure with loads of detail in such a tiny figure.

This figure is what happens when the best aspects of G1, RID, and Animated Magnus fuse together in an awesome figure of awesomeness. Buying this on sight, hopefully he gets a voyager class figure down the road.

It's rare when I feel a Commander trumps even some of the best Deluxe figures, but this one is pure sexyness and even puts Airachnid to shame! Thanks for posting the pictorial. I was going to get him anyway, but seeing him up close helps cement my adoration.

oh WOW! what a figure, so marvelous! I really hope We'll get a Voyager to compliment this, but MAN the Cyberverse commanders are just stealing the show!

I'm loving the hammer. Glad they brought that back. UM looks fantastic. The headsculpt is REALLY good for a commander.

Yes! The sculpt is really good for both the hammer and head sculpt.

I think in this case its allowable. people are pretty much all saying they are happy with this figure, but would like one possable with the main line.

Regardless I too will buy this figure and hope for a larger one in addition.

While I hope we get a voyager version of this at some point, I would prefer a FOC version in voyager scale. Would be happy either way. I do have to admit, the commanders in this line have all been awesome, some better than the deluxe version.

Looks awesome and the paint detail looks pretty great (e.g. the torso).

[soundwave], you said the legs were not hidden very well in alt mode but your pics don't really demonstrate that. Can you provide a overhead/top-level view of his vehicle mode?

Because it IS the RiD cab.

This design is what happens when you try to put too much badass in Magnus and succeed.
